I watched Aubrey's video and Cole's video too. This is by far one of my favourite running moments in a long time. Champions all around. Kings supporting kings. Love to see it. Amen to the power of community.
Not fast myself...56 year old running 22mins for 5km...but at my local parkrun last week of every month we have a paced event...i have paced a few times anywhere from 25mins to 40mins...nothing more satisfying than being part of joy in that moment when someone smashes that hard fought for goal 🙂 ....great vid
legend for getting involved big boy! I saw him before he met you guys and was looking ready for action. I love it you did this bro love it keep it real as always
You’re very kind Julie… and thank you for articulating exactly my what my perspective is. These guys were simply a perfect reflection of what the running community is. I’m extremely grateful
To be honest it’s still super awesome to see you’re still really grounded & understand how running & achieving goals can be so important to people, although that time isn’t anywhere as fast as you. Think that’s what makes you a legend!
being fairly new to running it’s so amazing to see stuff like this. aubrey is spot on there’s nothing like the running community!! u guys are so inspiring keep it up!! #sub50baby
Hey Ben ,Steve in Toronto here.Giving you a shout out on the great pacing and also introducing me to another great running channel,Aubrey. You guys compliment each other well🙂….hope to see more collaborations in the future…cheers!!
So nice to see this! My first ever race after starting running was a 10k and my goal was sub 50 as well! Did 49.29 and I almost cried I was so happy haha stoked for this guy!
Inspirational stuff guys! I'm 52 years old and have my first 10km next Sunday, August 13th. Going to try and break the 50 minute so this vid really helped. Great content!!
Congrats! Runners in London are so fast and hardcore 😂 I was caught off guard by the incline between 4k and 5k, but everyone around me just kept pushing forward as hard as they could. What a race!
Well done Aubrey fantastic running and excellent pacing from you and Cole 👏👏 hoping to break the sub 50minutes myself soon currently at 50minutes 7seconds!! 🤞🤞
@@airplanesforlife1260 thank you 😊 on my way back from injury so building up in the weeks ahead then will enter a 10K event somewhere in London. I’m in the Vitality 10,000 along with the Big Half so plenty coming up September & October before I do my first full marathon in Dublin!! 🏃🏃
Although you were pacing Aubrey, it also looks like you were pacing a load of other runners to sub 50. I’m sure they appreciate it. I’ve only done a bit of parkrun pacing, but it is a great feeling to help others achieve their goals
I'm curious what Ben considers a "pretty warm day". No one seemed to be really sweating or hot. I looked at the weather for that day in London and it seems the temperature was low 60s F around 17-18 degrees C.
Just made it under 50mins, pacers really helped. The course measured on Strava bit long by 100m / 30 secs, so the finish was a desperate sprint to still make 50 mins.
Hello Ben!! I'm following you from Spain!!, could you tell me where the 10k London Asics race starts and ends, since I'm already looking at hotels for next year, or if you recommend that I stay in an area that is close to the start or finish, since I have already signed up for the race!! Let's see if we agree 😃, Greetings from Valencia, Spain 😃
You didn’t pace him very good he had to push like mad the last km to get the time you are better to be a good bit ahead of the pace in the first half so even if you slow down you can still get it you always find someone at the end even if your tired
Incredible final 2k from Aubrey!
It certainly was!!!
Thank you so so much Steve, I genuinely appreciate that. It was war 😂
I watched Aubrey's video and Cole's video too. This is by far one of my favourite running moments in a long time. Champions all around. Kings supporting kings. Love to see it. Amen to the power of community.
Beautiful to watch 🤙

22 mins is pretty good.
I’m 42 and am struggling breaking 24 minutes.
You’re doing amazing m, that’s a great time
Right with you mate. ParkRun pacer day for the 25 mins is highlight of the month for me.
22 minutes for a 5k is actually very fast for your age.
Was a joy to watch Audbury's efforts and result.
Thank you so so much for this comment, Ben and Cole were amazing to me!
