Can't believe I'm in the video! That's brilliant - thank you 😊. As always, a wonderful vlog of a great day and I hope to bump into you again. Keep up the amazing work.
Congrats on the 10K, Brotha! But, look at you out there in the cold looking like it's summer.😁 Yes, we have to appreciate every minute that we're blessed with. Keep pushing!
Inspirational video Aubrey. I was these Sunday and saw you and Fordy just after the finish line. 3 years ago aged 49 I was overweight and looking at a miserable future. 3 years on and the joy of just running has brought me new and fresh life. I really enjoyed Sunday... but you know what? Perhaps I should have pushed a bit less, enjoyed it a bit more and worried about the PB less.... after all the joy is why I continue to run.keep on doing what you do. No doubt you'll inspire some people on the way 👍👌
This kind of comment is exactly what I meant in my video. Thank you so much. I truly appreciate the support and I also agree with the sentiment of what you said.
From 10k to 10k. Congrats Aubrey. Glad to have seen the Evolution since the early days! Cheers mate! Look at you. Getting "Gifts" now! Well Deserved Sir.
Thanks a ton! Honestly… and it means that much more when it comes from people who are truly seeing the story unfold. It makes me excited for what’s to come
Aubrey, congrats on 10K! Both of them! Your story and energy pushed me to finally launch my instagram to share passion of running and you inspired me to start writing my script for my first youtube video! Thank you! 🙏
@rozbiegany_tato and the content is about running and my preparations for smashing my PB in marathon in Italy but also running with stroller with my little daughter in it. It’s in polish but I hope the visuals will give more perspective 😅 Maybe I should put there two languages 🤔
Aubrey your awesome bro doing great things and running well. Hope your back is better or mending well. It’s such a joy watching your journey. Winter Run is 1 of my all time favourite races on the calendar. Never got to see you Sunday. I’d ran my long goal of sub 41 minutes. Coming in 40:33 a huge improvement of September 10k pb of 41:05
Great job Aubrey! Glad to see you doing better and out running for enjoyment. I had 3 back surgeries and the one time I had pressure against a nerve that was so painful for months, I begged God to just take me out. Another one I had a bone spur growing into my spinal cord and I could have become paralyzed for life, so they had to do immediate surgery to cut the bone away. So, I can truly understand. I am 65 and I have problems in knees and both feet (need surgery on both feet, but I am procrastinating as I don’t want surgery). So I don’t try to run, but I walk briskly more miles than I should. But the pains in my knees and feet inhibit me from going further (I been limiting to 4 - 9 miles at a time). I was going up to 14-16 mile walks, but simply hurt me too much. My sister just passed away last Thursday, 2/22, so your message of enjoying the limited time we have hits home also (she had esophageal cancer). Best wishes to you on continued recovery and enjoying life and running for fun. I enjoy your shoe reviews. Cheers from the other side of the pond in Pennsylvania.
@jamesstover718 I feel your pain. Mine was hitting a nerve also, which wrapped around the waist and into the groin. felt like someone was kicking me in balls..constantly for a momth..ugh
Love the video, love the journey, love being along for the ride since way back when. Also loved seeing Harry on there too, the community he has built perfectly aligns with what you're talking about. I always look forward to your videos man, keep it up Mr far-from-average!
Great quality & editing, can’t believe you managed to put out such a good quality video just 24 hours after the race, takes most TH-camrs days! Keep up the great work!
I did most of it on Sunday. It’s very straight forward when you write out the story first and know the direction of the video, where people go wrong is that they just film a race and share it without the story behind it. Cheers for the encouragement
Yes sir… I can’t argue with that at all. But you know what’s sad… there aren’t many vlog like this. Most vlogs I see are PB kind of runs and it makes people feel pressured to do the same. If you note, I don’t say what time I got or the splits at all. I’ll break all of that down later but for now the intention was just celebrating life and health.
Claire stop cutting onions in the comment section 😂😂😂. Truly appreciate this, I can’t express what comments like this mean to me. Truly… thank you so much.
Great Video Aubery and massive congratulations on the, collaboration with Fordy and Hoka. I've had a spinal discectomy, so I feel your pain.. literally.
i just found your video after i did the Winter run too. i meet up with Harry and the other JogOn members. i have also been following Chris from Fordy runs too. you video is bery inspireing. good luck with the recovery too. you are smashing it
Thank you so much and yes I love all the channels you’ve just mentioned and they have been massively inspirational to me and my channel. Thank you for the kind words too
Congrats on the 10 subs. And by the way, thanks, even more, for not being so average at all!!! Your message and story are strong - in a great and positive way!!
It's great to see you recovering! The London Winter Run looks like a ton of fun. I'm seriously tempted to schedule my vacation next year so that I can go to London and run it. Unlike a marathon, I'd be able to walk normally the following few days!
Superb video as always. I could feel the passion in your voice, so deserving of every one of those 10,000 subscribers! Hope to catch you at some other races this year 💪🏻
Cheers Josh… I absolutely enjoyed the event but as you say… it was a special one… such a big milestone but an even bigger moment in the recovery considering the injury. Cheers Josh
Gutted I couldn’t do The London Winter Run - picked up an injury 2 weeks before the race and although I am slowly recovering it would have been silly to risk further damage with the London Landmarks 1/2 Marathon on the horizon.
@@AubreyRunning - thanks Aubrey - was looking forward to meeting up with you for a chat but as you say races come and go and staying healthy is key - looking at the results I would probably have matched my 2nd place MV70 from last year!

Love this video! You are a joy mate keep rocking it out and let’s go and do a half? Come to Southend with me and the team in June you’ll love it
Thank you so so much for the invitation and how welcomed you and the gang made me feel. Let’s keep going with these
Inspiring stuff, thank you. What an event, I ran too, loved it.
