Love all 3 of these, wish they had done a white version of the black / red / gold third jersey as one of the reverse retros. Would the 'S' logo shoulder patch as a main logo? Would like to see that on the front of the modern barbour pole, as yeah, you can't really have a giant 'O' there.
I'd say no, that a shoulder patch rarely ever gets promoted, but we're trying to upgrade from a giant O...why not an S? Especially an S with other things rounding it out. I think the problem is the ton of history there that Ottawa has been resistant to dive into
Years later, this influenced me to finally get a Sens jersey I was proud to wear. I needed a Barberpole-esque jersey. you talked me into getting your number 1, found on eBay for less than $100 CAD. Doesn't have the laces, but I learned Erik Karlsson didn't wear laces when he wore that jersey. Now I know who I'm getting on it eventually AND I save $7 by not getting laces.

This #1 is what got me interested in hockey jerseys. I thought of a team had the balls to rock just an “O” as a front logo, then there must be more going on than I understood.
