The Blackhawks vs Detroit, the jersey Shemp is wearing, definitely was a good year to have made this list. Definitely better than the Blackhawks Boston match up.

The Detroit / Toronto match up is beautiful. Call me a heretic, but I love the Bruins with just a “B” rather than the wheel.

It's Wings - Leafs and it's not even close. Red vs Blue should always be used when possible. Also: It can be argued that the Wings winter classic uses a striping that's a simplified version of their 29-30 arm stripes.

The 2017 Winter Classic doesn’t deserve to be on this list tbh. As a Blackhawks fan I’m not sure what else you wanted them to do with that one considering our jersey design has been roughly the same for about 60-70 years. The 2015 one definitely deserved to be on the list though because they really didn’t do anything to that one, although I understand you guys don’t own it.

Yeah, the Blackhawks' 2015 Winter Classic is a much weaker jersey than the 2017 one. At least the 2017 event had some extra flourishes with the striping and throwback logo. The 2015 jersey is straight up the standard road jersey with slightly different shoulder patch placement. Vegas' jersey is just meh. It feels like a half-baked idea. I don't mind the Predators' jersey. It's a nice fauxback to the Dixie Flyers, but they should have been yellow instead of white to match the original Dixie Flyers jersey.

The Edmonton Oilers 2023 Heritage Classic throwback to the 1952 Edmonton Mercurys that won the Olympic Gold Medal in Oslo wasn't mentioned at all. So all people did was complain about the faux leather pants, despite that being a choice to match the Mercurys. I dont think opinions on these uniforms with really neat throwback elements like that are complete unless you know what its based on. The NHL doesn't advertise what these uniforms throw back to, its maddening and has happened time and time again.

I'd love to see a Heritage classic version! Both best and worst?

Re Chicago, I agree, but in their defense, the NHL did force them into like 14 WC/SS games. There are bound to be some duds.

As much as the 'Hawks jersey is only slightly different to their normal road jersey I still wouldn't have it as one of the worst 3 jerseys. Nashville would have been so much better with the Predator logo on - but I get why they used the script wordmark for it, Vegas - I dont mind the slightly odd logo but my god those colours just look hideous this is definitely an example of when the cream (vintage white) shouldn't have been used. I would have put the 2010 Flyers WC on the list - again wasn't that pretty much their road jersey with a couple of tweaks?

2015 Chicago is worse I think than 2017. Same logo and can’t even tell it doesn’t have the cuffs because the gloves cover it.

Vegas could have done so much better trying to imagine what their logo might have been in the early 1900s rather than this “V”

Although I like the jersey better than their away jersey, Chicago’s 2015 jersey is one of the worst I think in context of doing something different from the current look.

Having newer teams in the winter classic is better than another blackhawks, penguins, Boston, etc matchup
