your words are so kind, the feelings are mutual! I think your videos are so warm, grounding and thoughtful. You offer so wisdom in your approach to blending mental health, wellness, and staionery!
I like using fountain pens for practicing my penmanship. I started learning Spencerian and was using dip pens and then fell into the fountain pens, paper, inks, watercolor and stationery rabbit hole. One hobby just leads to another.😊
First of all, thanks for making this video and all the details you shared in it - I'm so happy whenever I see people sharing examples of how fountain pens work on different papers. I have just recently picked back up journaling as a hobby after having a rough time with a medical diagnosis. This time I started out very small, journaling and recapping my days in order to connect with myself and my spirit better - so not to get lost in the fact that I was sick and practically living at the hospital. Few months ago I decided to go for those things I never dared before because I thought as unreachable and impossible for me to be successful in, that included writing. So I bought myself my first fountain pen to feel more inspired to write - and that I did. I started writing daily, not only in a journal format, but writing creatively, trying out different writing styles, practicing and practicing, and I want to start publishing something very soon so to let people into my world and imagination. Being able to have high-quality tools to write has been a great motivator to keep going, to write to feel the pen glading on the paper, to feel deeply and feel in tune with myself. In my case, I'd use one of the pens to continue writing more and the other one I'd gift my bestfriend who has grown an interest in using a fountain pen for the first time!
Thank you for sharing your story. It sounds like you’ve been on quite a health journey. 💓 It’s amazing that you gave it a go and that it has inspired you to write! I hope you write that book and what a sweet gesture to plan to give one to your best friend! 🥹💗
My absolute favorite way to use my fountain pens is writing letters to my dad. I got into fountain pens when he started writing me letters about a decade ago, and now it’s one of the best ways to use my pens. I also love using the pretty pens to keep track of everything that I know will slip out of my ADHD brain. Whether it’s tracking projects, planning a new make, or just taking notes at meetings, the fountain pens make what might be otherwise mundane into something really special.
I love the fact that you exchange letters with your dad. 🥹😭 That’s so so sweet. 💓 I also find making my pen writing experience more enjoyable helps to keep me organized overall. I’m using my planners more and I’m slowing down to write things down. I tried to go fully digital with my iPad for a while, but I never felt more scatterbrained. 😅 Writing/recording things on paper feels more manageable and intentional!
I'm so excited to see this collab! I love that that you are both giving away something that you have worked with and has made a big impact on your fountain pen journey. It's so cool to see how your different creative processes lead you to different tools and styles. One of my favorite ways to use my fountain pens is for long format journaling. I have kept a similar kind of journal since I was a kid. I recently was gifted a very sentimental pen (which is also a Pilot Metropolitan!). Using fountain pens to write increases my intentionality, mindfulness, and connection. I would love to use the two pens to compare to my current Pilot Metropolitan and TWSBI pens. I haven't had a lot of experience with different configurations of pen, ink, and paper. I recently bought a planner with Tamoe River Sanzen paper, and I am so excited to try it out with my pens!
Thank you for your thoughtful comment! I agree - it’s so fun to see everyone’s creative processes 😊 I am with you on loving long form journalling. It helps me sort out the chaos in my brain, and it also allows me to get to know my pen and how it writes. :)
My favorite way to use my fountain pen is for my morning pages. It almost romanticizes the daily routine. Early morning quiet with a cup of coffee, cozy blanket, and some journaling with my favorite fountain pen is a very calming way to start my day. Fountain pens also make me more likely to follow through with using my planners and journals because of having a special pen that's only used for those tasks. It makes me look forward to getting to use them.
This scenario sounds amazing! I haven’t had as much time lately to start my morning with a coffee and cozy blanket, but now I’m going to make this happen soon. Thank you for the inspiration! :) I love your approach of dedicating a special pen for a specific purpose. I’m always looking for excuses to use my pens as well. 🥰
Two of my favorite YT creators teaming up! I use fountain pens for writing everything! I love to see how the inks interact on different papers and their different properties on display especially inks sheen. I thought it was so interesting how this ink behaved differently in two different nib sizes of the same pen. I will have to try this out with some of my favorite and least favorite inks. I've never had a metropolitan and it would be interesting to try it out compared to my twsbis and my most expensive pens.
🩷 thank you for your kind words!! I have to admit that I’ve been enjoying comparing most of my pens with the same colour to see how they’re different. It’s unlocked a new level of enjoyment when it comes to using my pens! ☺️
I love this and like Liane’s video, I find it so relaxing! I love writing with a different pen and ink in my daily journal every day and that helps with the excitement and fun of ink! I also use them for sketching and journal art. I would most definitely use the pens for not only writing but also for art!
Thank you for a very detailed look at these two pens. I’ve always been curious about fine vs. medium pilot nibs. I would use these for daily journaling.
This is such a fun way to engage with the community and pass along something that doesn't fit your needs! I'm always a huge fan of creators managing to talk about these sorts of collection-based niches without falling into or promoting over consumption! I also hadn't seen any of Liane's videos yet, so I'm glad to have someone new to watch:) I actually ended up working with fountain pens in a weirdly roundabout way! I started watching your videos because I was interested in content about adhd, mindfulness, and planning, but at the time I didn't really have any intentions of working with fountain pens. From there I picked back up my daily journaling practice, but I was having a lot of wrist strain issues with writing, so I went looking for other options. I saw fountain pens recommended a lot as an option that didn't need as much pressure to write with, and finally caved lol. I've been working with my Pilot Kakuno to do my daily journaling, and it has definitely helped my wrist strain, but I feel like I'm in that transition you described here between my initial research and further experimentation. The extra fine nib is nice, but I think my writing might be better suited for something slightly broader, and I'm really looking forward to experimenting with new inks (i'm in a similar phase at the moment as you were, searching for a blue i can fall in love with 😅). I also like the idea of having a few separate pens and inks to cycle through as a means of compartmentalizing. I find it's really helpful for me to have a hard, visual break between tasks/time periods/topics.
Thank you so much for sharing how you got into fountain pens. It means a lot to hear that my content played a small role in encouraging you to get back into journalling and try out fountain pens. 🥹 I hope it has been an enjoyable hobby to get into! As for your perfect blue - how would you describe it? 🩵💙
@@LittleCocoStudio honestly i'm not really sure yet! i really love the blue in my pigma micron pn, which is sort of just a plain bright primary blue, but i think part of moving to broader nibs for me is falling in love with inks that have a lot of subtle variations in them.. i'm definitely still in the 'dreaming and saving' phase of blue acquisition 😅
My favourite way to use fountain pens is in my daily/planner journal. I use a TN standard weekly vertical, with my daily planning on the left, and I use the right side to note down events & thoughts that occurred during the week. I usually use two ink colours per spread, but sometimes I can't help using a third & even a fourth. I also sometimes do a currently inked list in there as well.
What a great video. I especially liked the comparison side by side of different nibs with the same ink.. It trully shows the difference. I love to use my fountain pens to admire all the ink and to slow down in my writing practice. Nothing makes you pose than the process of carefully incapping the pen and proceed to write with it :)
I love journaling, writing letters and everyday writing with my fountain pens. I’m loving mini pens like the Kaweco Al Sport and Sailor ProGear Mini. Finding the right nib is still difficult as well. Love your videos.
i’ve only been reconnecting with my stationery love the last year so my primary use for fountain pens is journaling! but i love using different pens and inks especially in my mental wellness journal! sometimes the healing journey can be chaotic and messy, but i love flipping through the pages and seeing beautiful ink and writing.. haha. silly but that’s my story! i would love to use these pens in my rotation as i don’t have anything like them in my collection yet :) ty for a great video and a generous giveaway!
That doesn’t sound silly to me! I love that you’ve found a way to inject joy into your mental wellness journalling. Even if you’re having a messy day, at least you have some beautiful ink and writing to lift your spirits. Thank you for sharing! 💗
I just started this journey. I am loving journaling in different colors and trying different inks and pens. It really has gotten me into journaling, planning, and letters to others.
I love using my pens in my journal/planner! I only ink up 3 pens at a time with 3 different colors to use them for color coding to keep up with all my tasks!
This is so exciting. My favorite ways to use my fountain pens are journaling, planning and just having them in my hand 😊. I would enjoy trying these two pen (i have not tried a metropolitan before and im curious of the metal body) i would then pass on at least one of the pen and continue the penabling to other people in the planner community in my country.
I got into fountain pens a couple years ago, but have been using them way more frequently as of late. I use my pens to write recipes and recipe ideas, take notes on the language I'm learning, and for writing journal entries.
Love your uses! What language are you learning right now? I had thought about using a hobonichi weeks for language learning, but I thought it might be a bit too much for 2024. Maybe next year! 🤔
@@LittleCocoStudio I’m learning Japanese right now! Since it has a different alphabet/writing system swapping out inks helps to keep things interesting. It’s actually really funny that you mentioned using the hobonichi for language learning - I was thinking about doing the exact same thing 🤯. Since there’s a proficiency test every December, I thought that a notebook like the hobonichi or the midori diary be great to use as a countdown. In the days leading up to the exam, I could use it to track how I studied that day (eg 1 hour of listening on Tuesday, 30 mins of writing on Wednesday etc), for color coding those skills on the monthly calendar pages, and tracking daily goals (eg. 2 new words a day). I’ve been thinking about i’ve been seriously considering it more and more these days (clearly 🤭). I would love to hear your more about what you’re learning as well!
Since my work has gone completely digital I had been struggling to find was to put pen to paper, and then I rediscovered fountain pens and planners/journals. I use my pens for my daily planning, for my bible study and any time there is something to write.
My lasted roles were completely digital as well, so I can understand your experience. Just before the pandemic, I actually invested in an iPad and Apple Pencil with the intention of using them to take meeting notes and practicing digital art. I lasted a few weeks before reverting back to analogue planning and drawing. 😅
I love your comparison of nib sizes! I usually use my fountain pens for drawing Zentangle in my DIY passport-sized notebooks for Traveler's Notebook. The smaller size notebook is satisfying to fill up on a daily basis. I usually make passport notebooks with loose leaf paper like Tomoe River S, MD paper, or Rhodia dot pad or Canson XL Marker paper. I have yet to try a "high quality paper notebook" vs. recycled paper notebook from Muji. Great tip!
I use my fountain pens for handwriting practice (currently retraining my lefty self to actually write properly rather than my 'good enough" method I figured out growing up) and journaling. I do like to have a few pens I'm rotating through to test out different inks. I do have a fine metropolitan that I use for work, but I'd love to test different nibs and it actually is one of my favorite pens in the way it feels in my hand, so would love to play around with them for journaling rather than just quick notetaking!
Ahh, I can relate to the “good enough” handwriting. Whenever I start a new diary, I always spend a week or so trying to practice better cursive. But as the days go on, I inevitably return to my scribbles for the sake of getting my thoughts down. This is inspiring me to try practicing slower, more intentional handwriting that I can actually re-read without difficulty in my journal! ☺️
Happens the same to me with the nib drying out when taking notes, due to pauses. I’ve also decided to invest in a vanishing point, I just need to save up enough money 😅
I’m glad it’s not just me who has struggled with the nib drying out! It seems like such a small thing to complain about, but it was really disruptive. 😅 I hope you’re able to get your vanishing point soon! 🥰
I use fountain pens for writing in my Leuchtrum journal and in my planner. I love watching the ink dry and slowing down to enjoy the whole process. My 2.5 year old son is taking an interest in them too so maybe I’ll have a buddy to share the hobby with someday!
I love to journal, write notes and letters, shopping lists, quotes - in short, I do almost all my writing with fountain pens. I've never tried a Pilot Metropolitan, and I'd love to. The Pilot Kakuno nib is amazing, but ink dries out quickly because of the holes in the cap. Really enjoyed your video!
Great ways to use your fountain pens! I do all my writing with my pens as well. 🥹 I’ve never tried the Kakuno, but I’ve heard great things about it. That’s too bad that the ink dries out quickly.
Thank you for the giveaway and nice to meet you as well! 🌸 I mostly use fountain pens and the most I use them for is when I’m journaling, planning and just for the sake of using them. Sometimes I write from the books I read, sometimes I use AI to write a short story for me.
I am new to the world of fountain pens. I use a FP daily with my morning pages, my journal, and planning. I use a planner with Tomoe River paper, and am interested in trying different nib sizes with the different papers. I have been using a FP for about a month now, and have so much to learn.
What a fab collab! I like using fountain pens any chance I get lol - note-taking, letters, long form journalling. I only choose non-fountain pens for planning (I need a frixion for constant erasing) and my main dailies ( which I use lots of fun coloured pens). It’s bizarre to me now, but for the longest time, I felt fountain pens were beyond me. As if they belonged to a certain calibre & type of person (like a 40 yr-old male executive lol). Their price points didn’t help I suppose. I think I would use them for my brain dump/notetaking books. But I would have to meet them in person & feel out their personalities. 😊 I have never tried a pilot and I keep passing them in online stores and for some odd reason I’m intimidated to try one! So this would be a perfect giveaway for me to enter. Thank you for the opportunity!
That doesn’t sound bizarre to me - I can understand that perspective! Especially if we’re thinking about fancy brands and their high price points! 😳 I really appreciate that Pilot offer a pen for most price points to help someone dip their toes in if they’re curious but not ready to make a huge investment.
I got started with a Metropolitan. I also got into different paper more after I started my fountain pen journey. I use my pens for everything. I love to journal and write letters the most. I would definitely try out filling up the cartridge instead of using the converters.
What are some of your favourite papers to use with your pens? :) Filling the cartridge is so much better than filling the converters. I hope you get a chance try it! 😊
@@LittleCocoStudio TRP is for sure my favorite. But I have some muji and Rhodia paper that is nice. I have an onion skin notebook and am really excited to try that paper. I am definitely going to try the cartridge fill. I’ve never done that to any pen.
I love using my fountain pens for journaling! They are such smooth writers and I have penabled a few friends and family members into this hobby! I would love to gift these 2 pens to a friend and my mom who recently got into fountain pens so she can try and see which ones she like!
It’s so nice that you’ve been able to penable family and friends! I asked my sister if she was interested and… she was not. 😂 My nephew, on the other hand, asked to try my Kaweco and seemed to like it! 🥹
At one of the clinics that I work at, they still use pen and paper for medical records instead of EMR. I usually ink up my Muji x Preppy fountain pen with waterproof inks like Octopus Write & Draw in Blue Chameleon or Rohrer & Klingrer Freida to write clinical notes. You can also never go wrong with document-safe blue ink in a TWSBI 1.1 stub for signing signatures 😉. I would be curious to know how the Pilot Metropolitan performs on regular office copy paper and see if it would show ghosting and/or bleeding when I use it at the clinic.
Thank you for commenting! Out of curiosity, have you experienced any issues with using Octopus and R+K inks in your fountain pens? Ive been curious about Octopus inks specifically because they are heavily discounted at a local pen store, but they always warned that they can be more challenging to work with.
I love using my fountain pens to write letters, take notes with different inks when I am studying a new subject, and also to journal🥰 I have never used a Pilot Metropolitan, my first pens where all Lamy Safaris. I would love to compare the two pens to the Lamy fine and medium nibs, and of course, use them for letter writing. 😃🖋🖋
Ooh, that would be an interesting comparison! I pulled out my Lamy Safari EF recently to compare with my Pilot Metros, and I’ve been enjoying it a lot! ☺️
TFS. Appreciate you mentioning different paper as well. Wondering if you've tried other paper media. I use my fountain pens for everyday use but also like using them for art.
I try to use my fountain pens as much as possible. I journal using a Stalogy notebook and switched planner systems to a Sterling Ink so I could have fountain pen friendly paper.
Stalogy notebooks are great! I tried one this year for notetaking, and it was a great writing experience. 🥹 Which Sterling Ink planner have you been using for this year?
My favourite way to use my fountain pens is really to journal. I only started journaling after getting into the fp hobby because I wanted more ways to use my pens, and it has been going well so far! I think I might use your pens to test out the nibs and see how they write. If they don't end up ideal for me, I'm most likely going to try and penable a coworker or two with them... Thank you for the giveaway!
They look so pretty! I love how sleek and shiny they are. I personally have just been introduced to fountain pens and so far I've stuck to a trusty Pilot Kakuno in to write in my Kinbor planner, which has been working fine, but I'm planning to upgrade to a Hobonichi for next year so it would be super neat to be able to test a few other pens on it as well ✨ Thanks for hosting the giveaway, by the way, and especially for accepting worldwide entries as well 🥰
My favorite way to use my fountain pens is for everything! I've been on the fountain pen journey for 2 years now and I am to the point that I use fountain pens exclusively for everything. I literally cannot write with anything else now.😂
I use my fountain pens as much as possible, at work, to journal, letter writing, note taking, as an EDC. I am not artistic so I don’t draw with them but I try to pick up 2 or more different pens everyday. I dont have a metropolitan, if I received one it would go into rotation with my other pens.
i love to use my fountain pens to relax. i have an extremely hard time doing so on my own and i find both of your videos to be nice to put on as i write and repair my relationship with writing. i love pilots fine nib on my kakuno and i have yet to try the fountain pens in this video tho i have seen they are similar! id love to try it in fine, my perfect size
Thank you for your kind words. I’m so glad that you’ve been repairing your relationship with writing and that watching our videos has been helping with that. Fine is my favourite nib size as well!
I use my fountain pens for daily journaling and planning, List making , practicing penmanship, pretty much anything that you need to use pen and paper for. I’ve not tried a pilot metropolitan, I have a kakuno in extra fine, but I don’t seem to reach for it much.
* - *What are some of your favourite ways to use your fountain (or non-fountain) pens?* Tp express myself using different pens , and now using different nibs for different topics - *How would you use the two pens I’m giving away?* I was "stuck" with Medium nibs, but discovered extra fine and fine (and broad) nibs and *WOW* Iwould be able to be way more expressive in my writting
1. I mainly use my fountain pens for journaling, pen paling, or writing thank you notes on customer receipts at work 2. I would use the two pens here for the above activities. I have never actually used these Pilot Metropolitan pens before, but I love my Pilot Kakuno pens....it would be nice to have more professional looking pens
Ooh... I'm a first time viewer of your channel and videos, but I love the cozy style and how you use your fountain pens! I'm excited to see what other content you post in the future and also excited at the opportunity to enter such a kind giveaway. I love to use my fountain pens in my planner for journaling and memory keeping in my Hobonichi Cousin. I change my inks every month and rotate through which is my dominant ink & pen combo each week. I do this with the Rose, Thorn, Bud journaling method. I currently have 5 fountain pens and 1 of them is a Pilot Prera . I'd love to have the chance to try out a Pilot fine nib and compare the differences there. Additionally, I'd love to see what a more metal bodied pen feels like in my hand because I tend to grip my writing instruments quite tightly and firmly. I wonder too if the metal body will be harder or easier to grip than my current plastic bodied pens. I'd also love to explore the nuances of different fountain pen converters and perhaps do some experimentation with refilling a cartridge with my own ink.
Thank you so much for being here and for your kind words! I love how you’ve been using your fountain pens in your Cousin. I like the idea of having a consistent ink and combo for each week!
Thank you for the lovely sharing❤ - * I love to use my fountain pens for whole day starting using for my journal and planner and drawing 🎉 - *I would love to carry and post two pens one for idea note and one for planner which is I am carrying always. Sending my wishes 🧞♂️🙏🏻💝

What a great video. I especially liked the comparison side by side of different nibs with the same ink.. It trully shows the difference. I love to use my fountain pens to admire all the ink and to slow down in my writing practice. Nothing makes you pose than the process of carefully incapping the pen and proceed to write with it :)
Yes!! There’s something so enjoyable about the ritual of sitting down, uncapping the pen and writing. 🥹
I love journaling, writing letters and everyday writing with my fountain pens. I’m loving mini pens like the Kaweco Al Sport and Sailor ProGear Mini. Finding the right nib is still difficult as well. Love your videos.
Thank you so much for your kind words! 🥰 I love my Sailor Pro Gear Slim, but I’ve never tried its mini version! I do love a good pocket pen!
i’ve only been reconnecting with my stationery love the last year so my primary use for fountain pens is journaling! but i love using different pens and inks especially in my mental wellness journal! sometimes the healing journey can be chaotic and messy, but i love flipping through the pages and seeing beautiful ink and writing.. haha. silly but that’s my story!
i would love to use these pens in my rotation as i don’t have anything like them in my collection yet :)
ty for a great video and a generous giveaway!
Sounds like you’ve found some great uses for them already! ✒️😊
I love using my pens in my journal/planner! I only ink up 3 pens at a time with 3 different colors to use them for color coding to keep up with all my tasks!
That sounds so functional! Love it! ☺️
Love the ways you’re using your fountain pens. :) The metal body is definitely a different experience!
I use my fountain pens mainly for my reading journal! I like to experiment with a new pen and/or ink every month and I would love to add these pens ❤
Ooh, a reading journal is a great use for your fountain pens!
Great tip!
Thank you for taking the time to comment! You’re reminding me of two things I’ve been meaning to try: Zentangles and making my own inserts!
I use my pens all day long at work, I plan and journal in Sterling Ink Common Planners. Enjoyed. Thanks
I’ve been eyeing the Sterling Ink common planner for next year! ☺️
I use my fountain pens in my journal daily. I also use them to write letters.
You’ve reminded me that I want to write more letters in August! 🥰
I use fountain pens for writing in my Leuchtrum journal and in my planner. I love watching the ink dry and slowing down to enjoy the whole process. My 2.5 year old son is taking an interest in them too so maybe I’ll have a buddy to share the hobby with someday!
It’s so cute that your son is showing interest in your pens. 🥹 I hope his interests continues to grow! ☺️
I'm new to fountain pens this year. I use them in my Hobonichi cousin planner every day.
Great use for them! It just love using my pens in my hobonichi books! 🥹
I just love using them on my Tomoe River planners
They pair so nicely with TR paper, don’t they! 🥹
@@LittleCocoStudio so nice!
Thanks for the giveaway! 🥰
The most I use my fountain pens for is when I write in my planner. I also use them when I draw in my sketchbook.
Thank you for the giveaway and nice to meet you as well! 🌸
I mostly use fountain pens and the most I use them for is when I’m journaling, planning and just for the sake of using them. Sometimes I write from the books I read, sometimes I use AI to write a short story for me.
Great ways to use them! I love using mine for sketching as well. ☺️
Whoa - using AI to write a short story to write out. That is such a neat idea! Thank you!
I use my fountain pens for planning and journaling. I also like to paint with my inks a little bit.
I agree - it’s very fun to paint with inks! I thought it’d be similar to watercolour paints, but it’s a unique experience (which I really like!).
Writing letters to my penpals! And that's what I would use those pens for ;)
Sounds like the perfect use! 💌
I love to use fountain pens to write in my Hobonichi and to write letters to pen pals.
Great uses! I got into Hobonichi for the fountain pen friendly paper, and stayed bc I fell in love with the brand. 🥰
I am new to the world of fountain pens. I use a FP daily with my morning pages, my journal, and planning. I use a planner with Tomoe River paper, and am interested in trying different nib sizes with the different papers. I have been using a FP for about a month now, and have so much to learn.
Ohhh, it’s exciting that you’re in this early stage with using your fountain pens! It sounds like you’re already off to a great start! 😍
I have never tried a pilot and I keep passing them in online stores and for some odd reason I’m intimidated to try one!
My favorite ways to use fountain pen’s is in my journal and in planers. I’d use the Fountain pen’s in the same manner. Thank you for the giveaway 🎉
Great ways to use your pens! Me too! ☺️
I pulled out my Lamy Safari EF recently to compare with my Pilot
Metros, and I’ve been enjoying it a lot! ☺️
TFS. Appreciate you mentioning different paper as well. Wondering if you've tried other paper media. I use my fountain pens for everyday use but also like using them for art.
What other type did media would you recommend trying? I’m always up for experimenting with new paper media! ☺️
@@LittleCocoStudio Thanks that would be awesome. I was thinking of different art papers. Many fountain TH-camrs mostly use Tomoe or
I try to use my fountain pens as much as possible.
I love that getting into fountain pens have resulted in you getting into journalling! 🥰 📝📔
They look so pretty! I love how sleek and shiny they are. I personally have just been introduced to fountain pens and so far I've stuck to a trusty Pilot Kakuno in to write in my Kinbor planner, which has been working fine, but I'm planning to upgrade to a Hobonichi for next year so it would be super neat to be able to test a few other pens on it as well ✨ Thanks for hosting the giveaway, by the way, and especially for accepting worldwide entries as well 🥰
Ooh, that’s so exciting that you’re planning on using a Hobonichi next year! Which version are you thinking about using?
My favorite way to use my fountain pens is for everything! I've been on the fountain pen journey for 2 years now and I am to the point that I use fountain pens exclusively for everything. I literally cannot write with anything else now.😂
I’m in the same boat! I love the way it feels to write with fountain pens and there’s always a new ink to try!
I use my fountain pens for planning in my hobonichi! Love your comparison! I prefer the medium! TFS aloha Liann
Although their lines look pretty similar, at least on the papers I tested in the video, the medium is definitely a smoother writing experience!
I use my fountain pens as much as possible, at work, to journal, letter writing, note taking, as an EDC. I am not artistic so I don’t draw with them but I try to pick up 2 or more different pens everyday.
I dont have a metropolitan, if I received one it would go into rotation with my other pens.
Love this! I pretty much only use fountain pens now when I write as well. :)
i love to use my fountain pens to relax. i have an extremely hard time doing so on my own and i find both of your videos to be nice to put on as i write and repair my relationship with writing. i love pilots fine nib on my kakuno and i have yet to try the fountain pens in this video tho i have seen they are similar! id love to try it in fine, my perfect size
It’d be interesting to compare the Kakuno EF with the Metropolitan F!
It would.
*
- *What are some of your favourite ways to use your fountain (or non-fountain) pens?*
Tp express myself using different pens , and now using different nibs for different topics
- *How would you use the two pens I’m giving away?*
I was "stuck" with Medium nibs, but discovered extra fine and fine (and broad) nibs and *WOW* Iwould be able to be way more expressive in my
writting
I love how much I can fit into the small Hobonichi grids with my fine and extra-fine nib pens! 😄
1. I mainly use my fountain pens for journaling, pen paling, or writing thank you notes on customer receipts at work
2. I would use the two pens here for the above activities. I have never actually used these Pilot Metropolitan pens before, but I love my Pilot Kakuno pens....it would be nice to have more professional looking pens
All great uses!! I haven’t tried Pilot Kakunos, but I’ve heard great things! I guess I’m just a huge Pilot fan. 😅
Adorable 🥰
Thank you for the lovely sharing❤
- * I love to use my fountain pens for whole day starting using for my journal and planner and drawing 🎉
- *I would love to carry and post two pens one for idea note and one for planner which is I am carrying always.
Sending my wishes 🧞♂️🙏🏻💝
Great ways to use your fountain pens! And I like the idea of designating one pen for an ideas notebook and another for your planner. ☺️
