The many childrens books about Miffy were created between the 1950's and 2010's by Dutch illustrator and writer Dick Bruna. Miffy has been so popular in China and Japan in the past 60 years that many people wrongfully believe she was created by a Chinese or Japanese illustrator. In China there's unfortunately merchandise like your pen made that doesn't respect Bruna's creative vision and infringes his copyrights.😢
To your point about gaming on the bus, I spent a LOT of time playing games on the bus. I switched between a GameBoy Color, a DS, and a PSP. Also your ability to fall asleep anywhere reminded me of when I used to fall asleep in math class. It was a boring class right after lunch, very easy to snooze.
I don't know many people my own age (mid-30s) so it's nice hearing someone talk about iPods and stuff. When I talk about that around Gen Z people I start to feel a bit old! Technology has developed a lot during my lifetime. Went from having music tapes to downloads to Spotify. .
I'm kinda new to the channel here ..I mean I've fallen asleep 1,000 times to the draw your feelings video but I think you've helped me realize my appreciation for a nice pen lol thank you and I'm definitely gonna check out some of those glass pen videos 😯😯
Hullo Peter, I am looking forward to the China video! I was hoping it would be among the first from when you got back! I understand that it is a LOT of video to edit so I am excited to see some of your adventures! I am sorry the pens are such a disappointment, Well it feels that way from this side of the camera, perhaps not? Your drawings still look very good! BE safe and take care out there!
I've only been watching your channel for about 5 years, but I watched every drawing/doodling video since then, and... Is this the first time EVER that you used two different pen line widths in one drawing?
Am just staring at I Ching/Yijing fidget spinner and like I didn't know such thing excisted but it does. It's fortune telling and it is closer to tarot cards and japanese fortune sticks and how I know about these that i selfstudied these things since my childhood as they were tacked that "oh this interests me" box.I ching the message forms up from two parts of hexagrams, those symbols that are formed from two part ying lines and straught yang lines. The book about Yiling is considered as one of the five classics of traditional Confusean canon. I had to fact check to if I still remember anything correctly about it. One of the symbols that you are pointing is meaning remarkable posession,, maybe it means pen collection? Idk. And pretty sure that is accidental and random. Symbol above it means mountain and here is what I would like to know someone who knows even more that howcome this thing has smaller having upper parts of the hexagrams and bottom part of entire thing? Things probably shouldn't have said but just had to. It was pretty cool thing. Your drawings are really cool. That's what I came here for and then got bit carried away as portion of memory got triggered by other things.
Great Pete! Did you bring back the "Lament configuration box" too? LOLOLOLOLOLOL That fidget spinner with the bullet cartridges is creepy. I don't wanna say why either.LOLOLOL
Question to anyone who actually writes in a Chinese language: Do you like fine line pens, or are thicker lines better for forming the characters. To me the readability is very different.
Fine line pens are best for writing large amounts of text. Thicker lines make it harder to distinguish between strokes. Everything ends up merging together. Ideally, I prefer using a brush pen because the characters were designed to be written with a brush, so it gives you the most accurate "brush strokes" 筆畫
Why would you do that petter?? I don’t understand and am not comprehending why you would go to china for a writing tool such as pen… i need answers, i have faith you will come to my aid and help me comprehend the situation that led you on this journey, in your own written words. I look forward to it
@ No. as i stated if you read my wholehearted letter above, i very much am looking forward to read why in your own written words so i may understand the whole extended of the discussion made as to not miss anything as i may get distracted if i watch the video by the birds and the bees outside as i try to get to my destination. Thank you in advance
i definitely misread the thumbnail

"This guy is american. He'll love the bullet fidget spinner" made me laugh out loud, even more than just a nose noise. Super cool drawing
No idea how he got that on a flight.
Peter you got pens. I'm here to see what they are all about.
You are no help to my pen addiction ❤
Only more pens will help

Actually, now that you mention it, the certain angle does make you look like Hugh Laurie... Neat!

Haha, no I don’t think it’s the first time, but it’s definitely not common!
very house-y resemblence ! i was thinking house just before you said it :D
the ones you like seamed to sound less scratchy on the paper. I liked the spinners.
seeing "miffy" was funny as a dutch person, here it is a from a childrens cartoon called "nijntje"
Yes! We have Miffy in the UK. Great stories for little kids.
More like Hugh Laurie from Blackadder...

I like your nail color.
( maybe ) Those pens look like fine-liners ? And it looks like you are putting to much pressure on them ?
So you bought from Amazon then?
