Tenpai is basically just loading up 25+ handtraps, 8 of which are essentially turnskips. The players that want to not just play a cheese deck that is Tenpai just shifted more towards SE/Diabellstar lore pile than Yubel since it just bricks less (it's just a better deck).
I love seeing Maxx c Ash Called by Crossout Impermanence And now the 2 new staples cards in every deck. So much diversity. Cause none of those cards are the issue. Except crossout. You're only allowed at one.

Memento has lines that can play around Handtraps, end on multiple diverse disruptions and have pretty much 18 Starters. Memento as a Deck should never be slept on because they have a surprising number of advantages to them

I have a question that I want to ask. I am planning on trying out something absolutely crazy. A deck of 40 non engine cards and 20 one card starters. It sounds crazy and it most likely will not work as intended but I want to believe it will work. More often than not I would open a hand full of hand traps, anti hand trap cards, and board breakers. My side deck would literally be only extenders. I could take out the non engine that doesn’t work and add in extenders to help with the deck. I'm running it. It's easy to get out now. Neptayss send Body guards, SS Pike, grab Abyssrhine, Activate Abyssrhine. People are just lacking imagination and scared of hand traps. Konami needs to get rid of hand traps it's ruining the game.

I’m not sure I agree, because they still want to bridge into Snake-Eye for the purpose of adding Flamberge to the endboard. OSS has so little payoff in Azamina/Snake Eye if it’s just to grab Ash & Poplar and not Flamberge. I’m fine with both getting banned though. It feels to me like the same difference between banning Kashtira Ariseheart vs the Kash Field spell or Birth.

While I agree it will not stop the deck to ban oss, it will remove wanted, diabelle and the new azamina spells as starters and cards the deck can play. Thats way bigger than people think
If you are talking about yubel, there's only one semi-brick (terror) that can still be used to contact fuse. +if you miss timing with og yubel, well that's a skill issue Only reason SE>>yubel is because SE has a ton of ectenders that get ypu the same board while yubel changes plan based on what you have in hand

This is the problem with overpowered decks like snake eyes and tear. Eventually they will limit every card name to one or ban it all together making a theme or art style you like just a bunch of one ofs
Ban Flamberge and limit Diabellstar. After that would be limiting Fiendsmith Engraver and giving an errata to Beatrice. Make it so her effect can only be used if she was summoned using her alternative summoning requirement. That way Burning Abyss gets a buff and Fiendsmith gets nerfed. Poplar can go to one as well. Unban Mathmech Circular and Linkuriboh. Unban Isolde and put her to one. This will create many more decks for players to build while breathing new life into older archetypes such as Infernoble and different Cyberse decks. Striker Dragon to 3. Called By the Grave to 2. More non engine means more hand traps being used. To help alleviate the problem adding in more counter play is needed for less resilient decks to play.

I’ve been predicting the poplar ban since the deck came out on master duel. I think that’s the best hit, flameberge is another good one but that will really fuck the deck.
