Aside from Ren's outstanding music, what blew me away about this video was the incredible camera work. Moment of appreciation for Luke Flegg because this was huge talent and skill behind the camera.

I'm 65 yrs young. I started listening to The Big Push about 5 months ago. Then I found Ren. I am an old school 70's, 80's fan. But I am always looking for new and unique styles of music. I have never liked rap or hi hop. Couldn't stand them. Then I found Ren. Since then I barely listen to any other music. He has so many different styles.I haven't found any reason to listen to anything else. I usually get bored of listening to a new artist.Not with Ren and The Big Push. It's like I have found the music I have always been looking for. I suffer with chronic anxiety and this music and Ren have helped me deal with life on a different level. Thank You Ren.

Dude, I am 30 in a couple of months. I am a man of this world, and I take pride in being a centered and controlled man because I wasn't always. I haven't found many artists who speak to my soul in years. Man, every song I've listened to of yours has so much heart. "Violet's Tale" made me tear up hard, I hope people can't relate to that song as hard as I did, but I absolutely related and it brought so many memories to the forefront. "Hi Ren" is how I found you, "Sick Boi" is how I knew you understood, and every song that I have listened to since has been nothing but raw heart. I am not sure how I didn't find you until now, but I am thankful I did. Seriously, your music makes me feel. You have a fucking gift man. Much Love and Respect.

There are a couple of clever cuts (like when he gets in the car and it pans past the back of the seat) but it's a great shoot nonetheless.

@@thomasbuchser7695 both the scenes of the camera entering and exiting the car are hidden cuts, the first one is very subtle and hard to notice but you can tell by the change of focal lenght and the sudden switch from gibal to handheld, the second one it's more noticeable because of the person in front of the car disappearing and another person and a white car suddently appearing on the right side

I love how each of Ren’s songs are unique and hit so differently. Some make me weep and some make me smile. This is bop! This beat is killer. Ren is magic.
And here's the thing about all Ren songs. They are all connected. References to earlier material is to be expected. The only other example of this that I can think of is Pink Floyd.

So ready for this, excited doesn't cover it. Also thank you Ren for your donation to the RNLI both my dad and my brother volunteer for Moelfre lifeboat so I've grown up with my dad being called out at all hours of the night 24/7 365 days a year. In the old days they didn't have pagers etc we had flare guns and seagulls. The coxswain lived next door to the boat house so he would get a call, he would then rush to the platform area and set of the flares, a group of about 4 or 5 bangs if I remember, then everyone in the village heard it and the crew would be there in under ten mins ready to go. As the years passed I remember my dad getting his first ever pager and being hen fash he hated tech of any kind so teaching him to use it was quite funny, it did however save alot of time. I more than most know how important donations are so thanks again
Wow, I'm a Manc, I would hike around Anglesey and spent many a family holiday there as a kid. Moelfre Lifeboat station, I stopped off and bought a book in the shop. There was a cheery old boy, showing me the station and chatting away. Turns out he was from Manchester originally too. Lived a couple of miles away from where I am now. WellI I never, bless ya Ren

I’m not sure if he meant for us to see it, but there was a 2 min clip leaked a few weeks ago. It got taken down quickly, but holy shit was it amazing. It was just him singing on a stream, so I can’t even imagine what the video is going to be like.
@@nathanfausti9213 Yeah, I saw it once and thought it was dope, then caught that it wasn't from Ren's channel and immediately commented on the video and tried to get the message through to the reaction channel that it didn't feel "right" dropping a possibly upcoming track before the artist had the chance to. The reactor is in the industry as well, so I appealed to his sense as an artist, and how would it come across if someone did the same to them?
Don't know if my message was ever seen, but the video got taken down the next day voluntarily, but not before being seen 21,000 times. The silver lining is that Ren is SO damn good and his fanbase is so far reaching that I don't think that the 1-day pre-release hurt his numbers (I certainly hope it didn't)

6 days is too long! 💚 The premieres for Rens songs have become one of my most beloved things. Ren truly has brought so many people around this world together, and no matter what piece he puts out, it always touches our hearts and souls one way or another. This song hasn't even come out yet, but I still have to say thank you for every ounce of yourself that you give to your music while also giving so much to the world. It's truly incredible and inspiring watching you thrive and take on this life. Love you always Ren 💚
Ha, 6 days does seem a long way off, bit of a tease. Lol. Its a bit like knowing where presents are hidden but you can't reach them or get to them when your a tot. Thinking about it , the thrill in the anticipation and wondering what it will be is frustrating but exciting. When you receive something that you have wished or hoped for, its so cool.

We are not worthy of his incredible talents, but they truly are like Christmas gifts every time.

I first heard this song when you uploaded the sample, I was immediately blown back by your ever changing sound, and found that this song reminds me of a era of hip-hop that doesn't exist anymore example (cypress hill). I’m over the moon for the recognition that this genius of an artist is getting now as he deserves it more than anyone and anything I’ve been hearing on the airwaves lately…. Ren is a real artist with true talent and didn’t sell out, he kept on doing him no matter how hard times got and he did it for the people who his music touched and not for the money and fame…. That being said , he is getting more and more popular as the days go by but as a fan of Ren for years now watching his early work till now in 2023 and a life long fan, I truly believe he will always do him and never change/sell out… he is a legend and went through a lot in life and that’s why I (and many other fans who have been following since his early years) are so proud and loyal to him. You don’t live a life like he has (and I) and the only outlet is his art/music/lyrics that is therapeutic and medication to him and me and dare I say most fans of him and he can’t change for nothing! He’s raw talent and that’s obvious to sell out for the airplay air time, fame and money would put out the fire that burns deep down in his heart and soul and he can’t and won’t simply because it would be the death of him and what he is here on this earth to do and that is to help us, the one’s who feel like giving up until we hear Ren!

I do think his next album will go absolutely huge around the world, i know this Sick Boi album did really well in the uk. The amount of reaction videos on TH-cam from all different people. Like the prodigy in the 1990s, Ren crosses over multiple genres and can catch a big audience.

I have to say. 5 minutes before the video dropped I got a knock on my door. It was a hydro guy. Said that they were out on the street and had some work to do on the line and power would have to go out for a bit. Are you kidding me right now? I told them that they would have to wait 10 minutes because...well because I had been waiting for this to drop and I did not intend to miss it. So 3 big trucks, one small one, 2 flag people and a few hydro workers had to stand outside and wait until I gave them the thumbs up! Priorities ya know!? 🤣

Here after listening and wow doesn't cut it. I've already got the chorus stuck in my head. The talent always amazes me to great lengths. The seemingly simple guitar chord repetition, then that bumping grungy beat drops in, and then that melodic vocal repeat - Damn that was great! The other additions in the production added some nice spice also. Gotta admit I couldn’t quite hitting repeat to listen to again and again for an hour straight. Your production skills are truly impressive!
