    These are the perfect teacher project. You can start now and collect little things for the teacher all year long and give it to him/her the last day of school to remember you by. I am a retired teacher and would get little things like this and adore them. I get mine out and remember the child quite often.

Thanks for showing this. Sometimes our fell in to's are the cutest things. These are our happy accidents that we keep and repete again and again !!

    Lace is fiddly sometimes. A trick I learned from my grandma to tell sides is by using a pin and running thru the back close to the top. That way it’s not so confusing. I have to use that trick for tatting and lace making especially when adding certain bindings. Another hint is taking a washable fabric marker and making a small mark on the back side of the lace piece.
    Beautiful little album and papers. Can’t wait to make my own soon.

    Hi Edith an easy way to tell the top of the lace is to just run your fingers across it you will feel the texture of the thread that's the top where the flowers or the design was stitched you can feel the thread that will be your top... Bless you and thanks for all you do

    If you look at the very top of the lace, there is that tiny ‘hem’ to finish the edge. Look for the side that has the nice looking stitching. That’s the front, the back has a very messy finish on the top. I hope this helps. 🥰

    • @tinaluu9810
      @tinaluu9810 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Its usually a fabric that is made to cover seams to help bind them together. In paper crafting you can use strips of paper to help support seams to bind.
