Aften moving I have been have so many difficulties to get working again in my craftroom. I simply don’t know what to make. I have many ideas but don’t know where to start ☹️ I don’t sleep much either and my dad didn’t sleep much either so maybe I have got it from him. I absolutely LOVE my morning when everyone is sleeping and the house is quiet and i sit on the porch with my morning tea and look my TH-cam through. I for some reason just cannot use a pattern... I am new to Junk Journaling but I’ve been a scrapbooker and seamstress foe many use and I can’t use actual sewing patterns to save my life... I make my own patterns up in my head (also usually while trying to fall asleep!) and then freehand a pattern. As for junk journaling or other crafting; I usually watch something on TH-cam (like you!!) or somehow look for inspiration and go from there! I absolutely, love your style of crafting, your videos and tutorials!! Thank you for all you do 🙏🏻 😊
Love this folio, the blue fern paper is perfect with this. I think of things to make when I’m trying to fall asleep and when I come up with something I have to get up and try it, because I will not remember what I thought of in the morning. This project is awesome Edith. Thank you for showing us.

Thank you for your idea, I changed it a bit and used a fast food bag, little more glue at the sides ,but turn out great! Being a grandma too, it's ok to give them goodies and send them home with a 😃

I am also a "wing it" type of crafter!! The only time I am careful and follow a pattern (so to speak) is when I am trying to learn a new technique (like a pamphlet stich for example) but once I learn it I just go for it! Its a better creative process for me that way... but then again it depends on the project :) Beautiful bags!!!!
I am more of a CASE type person. I see something I like and if there is not a tutorial, then I will try to see if I can do it by myself. I am liking this folio with the paper bag.

I usually start with something I’ve seen that inspires me, then keep developing ideas as I go along....I have made albums using templates and like them as well. Since being laid off work in June I’ve been watching my 2 1/2 yr old granddaughter a couple times a week and I too spoil her and my 12 yr old grandson and I love it.....nothing better than grand kids....enjoy your time with them.
Absolutely love this!! I do create with and without templates/ideas. Sometimes I let my materials draw out an idea. Usually works well, but sometimes I make good trash too. At least it's got style LOL
Hi Edith, this folio and how you made them is gorgeous. Sometime I planning only the type that I will do and sometime the project is fully planned with an own patterns before I started. My cat just had kittens -- does that count -- four and all boys !! they are now 4 wks old and so adorable and already into everything -- we have a very large cage meant for a dog -- it really is huge -- and that's where they have to sleep with their mama, who says they now have teeth, the milk truck is closed -- until we throw her in there with them -- ha -- she had an appt. at the end of March to be spayed, but covid shut down all surgeries except emergency surgery and she escaped one day when I opened the door to get the mail. I looked everywhere and thought, she's gone forever, but 16 hours later she comes strutting in -- tapping on my bedroom window to let her in -- straight to the food dish -- they are so adorable -- I named the first one that popped out -- on my son's bed -- ha -- karma for all those teenager years -- ha -- but I named him Keanu Reeves, Jr. -- he's grey and white, and the rest are solid grey -- or Russian Blue is the correct terms -- and we can't tell them apart, so we call the 3 the peanuts 1, 2, 3 -- I live in Richmond, VA -- anyone interested in adopting?

I sit down to make pockets and end up making tags. I love creating papers. Give me some paint, inks and too much time on my hand. Me and my husband do not work and so we sleep crazy hours. I love my grandbabies, I see them all of the time, we babysit them at least 2 days a week. I love it, miss them when we don't.

Perfect for what I was looking for .. I received a bunch of brown (crumpled a bit ) brown paper in an online order but I saved it thinking even coloring paper for the grands or a banner of some sort. I just thought to nice to toss Thank you 💕🙏🏻🌹

Just found your channel. I too pretty much just “wing it” as I create something. I see something someone else does and then I create from there.
