- Pantera performing "This Love" at Monsters of Rock 1994, Donington Park, England
Original audio is replaced with soundboard recording that was released later. On that track they have decided to cut out "epic" scream in middle of song, therefore is cut out here also
"Wouldn't kill myself anymore, got too much money." - this man unlocked the secret to beating depression.
nah, his life was a train wreck from here on forward.
He had enough money to afford all the drugs that nearly killed him lol
such a funny line
Yes, he's surely right! Still, the hardest part remains the same: how do we manage to get there? That's the question!
meanwhile, millionaires still kill themselves and destroy themselves with drugs. phil
became a junkie for decades. clean as of five years ago? at least he says so…
This song is responsible for my numinous speeding tickets on my bicycle
Que rudo
This band will always be my absolutely favorite band of all time. Nobody can top this shit. CFH FOR FUCKING LIFE
These guys could play, man.
2:36 - “I wouldn’t kill myself anymore. I’ve got way too much money.” 😂
One of the best bands of the 80 90
I love how Dime looks when he sings in this video, OMG he looks so cute , 😭
They were so good.
Down is so sensible right here... he has this southern voice
AMAZING
This so fucking best metal band that has remain in our metal mind and heart siempre
I watched the whole video and i’m still waiting for Romero to play
That slam tho this is the first time I’ve heard this song and I’m not the biggest fan but hoooooly shit that breakdown
Hellyeah
Brutal
At about :45 seconds the crowd is ridiculously off beat
Stevekev Bryid if youve ever been to a concert youd notice that what you hear is delayed compared to what you see on stage. But when you watch it as a video its not delayed. Thats why the crowd is always off
🤘🤘
Man............. I took them for granted.
So fucking tight.
So well balanced.
So talented.
So hard working.
Pantera.
Rest in peace Dime and Vinnie. 2 virtuosos
Why would you take them for granted??? All there songs are fucking BADASS
@@priscillacasanova3188 sometimes it just happens unconsciously. It’s not even up to our control.
Sometimes, we just don’t value the people we have quite enough.
And only when they’re gone do we realize just how much they meant to us.
Seen them 8 times in 52.
What up with that???
They flew over my head like an airplane too brother when i was younger then we all came back to check them out and had our fucking faces melted off
Hard to believe that half of Pantera has now died. RIP fellas
Sorry, but I think your math is a little off. Pantera died back in 2004 in the cesspool named Colimbus Ohio at the Al Rosa Villa. Pantera died with Dimebag. May He and Big Vin and that which was Pantera RIP! And the 2 remaining that were just whiny little bitches or the equivelant of minute testicle hairs upon the sac of who really was pantera have thier lives keep sucking as badly as they have until the end of time. Phil and Rex shouldve been taken first. Not Darrel and Vin. God got that all backwards. But he probsbly did it that because he needed a guitar teacher and eventually he decided not to keep Vinnie from his brother any longer. Amen.
Sad but true. Just facts.
@@metalshredder4life817 there is no god
@@metalshredder4life817 Surely I would agree with Phil because of drugs and stuff but what did rex do to be hated? I wished nobody would of died but that's just life man

Back in the days, when MTV actually played music
Yup exactly
That was 30yrs ago. Ya
Shows my age!
I thought the "m" stood for "mainly bs reality shows"?
Yeah no shit right 😂
This song is responsible for my 2 speeding tickets in the 90's .
@Glenn Thomson hahaa
Great music will do that unfortunately 😁
Yep, I had to stop playing this style of music while driving.....doing 50 over the speed limit on the wrong side of the road wasn’t gunna end well...

@@birdley9577 glad you are okay and nothing ever happened to you again
They are everything that is metal. The look, sound, lifestyle. Haha.
Dimebag’s tone is so accurate from the original track
Yea dime is like that and he literally cant fucking miss a note what a fucking god damn i wish he was still alive
Yup. Perfect. Poor guy. My all time favorite metal guitarist

Lol!!! At first I thought it was just you saying that until I heard Phil!! That was funny!!! It didn't make me laugh at the thought of you saying it!!! He's just crazy ....lol

That was a reference to Kurt Cobain who "killed" himself a few months before.

Donington '94.. I edited this sound and footage in 2014. Now it's 2021... I guess video served well for it's purpose and should be there for all of us. As a reminder what music really is
Oh okay, I was wondering why you edited out his scream during the second verse.
@@1Deep43VA wasn't me...best audio source from that gig had that scream cut out. I could mix 2 audios for that scream only, but wasn't thinking about that 7 years ago :)

Thanks for uploading this you're a champion.
This was one of their best live shows ever, Phil wasnt wasted on Opiates/Heroin and his voice wasnt destroyed yet, Dime is a fkn animal, as always...dude got better the more he drank, amazing solo (@4:19). Vince on drums killin it, Rex even sounded great even though you rarely see him on camera.....I miss the old days of metal
This was the second of three times that I saw Pantera live. The sound was better at the other two gigs but they owned the main stage that day.
Me too
always hated the tap dancing sound of the drums.
Me too
They had MANY "best live shows." I never saw a bad Pantera concert and I went to my share of them.
I honestly think Phil doesnt get enough credit. He's probably the most versatile vocalist in metal history.
not too many good live performances bud
@@rockenOnehe’s also drunk half the time he sings live
He's a good, passionate vocalist, but there are much better out there.
@@yetanotheruser1989 Well I said versatile, not best
@@rockenOne Most videos that I've checked he's been incredible. I mean he is still able to perform 10x better than james did 20 years ago lmao. @Gore4ever FulciLives Not that pantera was hair metal on 11 pre phil and the fact that phil seems to have a man kissing habit talks about how he and dime had a great love and is rumoured to be Bi.
they still do they were just allowed to display it back then. It was quite vulgar
And overdosed constantly on heroin while their guitarist got shot on stage LOL

Stole her from herself
This gift in pain
Her pain was life
And sometimes
I feel so sorry
I regret this (hurting of you)
But you made me...so unhappy
I'll take my life (and leave love with you)
I'd kill myself for you. I'd kill you for myself

Everyone can argue who made who but when it comes down to brass tax they made each other. They were all there at that point and nothing can be argued about it. Phil lost it after 101 proof and Vinny and Rex lost it after. Pantera ! There was so much energy in this era. My youth
I was there, 23 at the time, was really excited to see Pantera & Pride & Glory. This Love is one of my favourites by them, the breakdown is just brutal, I was lucky enough to see them twice in the 90s, my best concert ever was Wolverhampton UK on the Vulgar tour, Grunt Truck were the support if I remember, somewhere through Pantera's set the members of Grunt Truck came out took the mic off Phil & said this is a vulgar display of flour!!! they then showered the band from head to toe with flour, Dime was covered!!! Great gig, great days, Pantera forever !
