+Ngakak Guling I always come back to this version, it IS the best version indeed, plus every time I watch this I'm amazed by the quality. Also I love the sneaky way Nick ups the tempo while Dave is doing his solo, so that everyone has to up their tempo too. Megadeth was really well oiled machine back then.

My 11 piece Tammi drum kit has never failed me why do I need new ones when the one I have plays just as good as the day I bought them never broke one piece, I only broke drum heads sticks and cracked cymbals

In my version on history, Lars gets kicked out instead which causes a chain reaction where Cliff never dies and Nick Menza joins the group. The world then moved into a new world order made in the image of the unstoppable force that is Megatallica.

There was too much ego in the hetfield/Mustaine/ Burton/ulrich lineup. All alpha males everyone wanted to be in charge. Combined with Mustaine’s addictions, it was never going to last. Metallica died with cliff, as then the primary songwriters became Ulrich and Hetfield, so the songwriting power was cut in half, and never recovered. Newsted was not allowed to contribute like Burton.

My brother just sent me this video. We were there! I was 12 years old and this was my first metal show. It was epic. Pantera opened for them, it was the Cowboys from Hell tour. I had never heard of Pantera at that time but became a huge fan later on. I found it so strange that Phil Anselmo was jumping around the stage. Someone threw a joint to him before they started playing and he thanked them. Great memories! Still, at 45 years old our cover band, Dentallica plays this song and we love it every time we do it!
