Excellent review presentation. I am a Canik fanatic, own the TP9 DA (a gem of a pistol!), the TP9 SF (a great gun), the METE SFT (my preferred concealed carry gun) and the METE SFX (the most accurate, and also mean looking gun). I have attached tactical gun lights to them, and have NO issues and ZERO malfunctions. All four work unblemished! Go Canik!!!

Which one would you say is the best? I’m thinking about getting the TP9 SF as a sidearm

@@wesleycristman3278 the TP9 SF or the METE SFT are both excellent combat handguns. You won't wrong with either one you choose.

Greetings from Canada. Thanks for a great review. I own the Elite Combat and it’s a fantastic pistol. Great value and amazing trigger.

Glad you got the chance now. In America we’ve have them for some quite time now and they’ve been vetted and a dependable and high value handgun.

The TP9 is better than a lot of guns that cost $200+ more. There's no compromise on quality or features.

I'd love to get into competition but I've no idea where to start. I don't know anyone who does do it. And the local cops were less than helpful. And we have nowhere where you can go to ask advice (that I know of), like a gun shop. I know we have strict laws about all of this in Australia. And I'm glad we do. But mate it's not like I want to go break the law or anything like that. I just wanted something different to do in my life that is challenging, unique and requires practice and dedication to the sport. As well as something I could compete in with those in my area or even in our State. Or against my son. I didn't even know it was possible here until you mentioned it in this video. So, cheers for that mate. So yeah, Help ...anyone?! I am an Aussie; in case that wasn't already obvious.

@@letsgobrandon4260 I figured it was something along those lines lol. It is just weird. I always steered clear of Caniks because of the price point. I have owned almost every Glock, from a 42 to a 17L. Have owned about 6 sigs including a 226. A couple HKs, some CZs, Kimbers, Walthers including the Q5 match sf pro. A Dan Wesson and a Staccato C2. There are more, but it is hard to remember them all. I tried the new Smith and wesson csx and was not impressed. Traded it last week and guy had a used Canik TP9 SF Elite S for just shy of $300. I said "screw it, I will give them a chance". Started doing hardcore research on them and was shocked about how many good things I am hearing. I now own 2, have a 3rd on layaway and I will be getting a Combat Elite Executive next weekend. Never in my life has a firearm company impressed me as much as Canik is. The only handgun that I have ever shot that was more pleasant and slightly more accurate than the standard SFX is a CZ Shadow 2 SAO.

It's a shame you used a different target for the Rival test. I always find the large rapid fire target easy to shoot at.

We're located in Australia and all prices shown are in AUD. They could be more expensive by the time you convert from USD and account for import fees and other costs. Relative to other handguns available in Australia, Canik's are very reasonably priced.

Stop saying best value guns. They are sold at that price to get into a very competitive market with very top brand names. Just compare them against any known brand then if you are not bias you will agree that like all the Turkish arms they are simply the best and CANIK is no exception. You want to be sure just test it and see and feel it yourself.

Need to be a member of a gun club. You can only use at club. No conceal carry here. Also if security guard where hand gun is required.
