Prototype you can get on next gen consoles. They remastered the games for them
It would be nice to get remasters of both games but sadness for Prototype series as the developers of the game, Activision seems to shut down when they was planing to make a Prototype 3 game. So during the time of wanting a remaster is best to play the Bundle of Prototype 1 and 2 for PS4 or Game Share it online/Steam playing it. While I don’t know if Infamous 1 and 2 get a remaster but let’s wait and see what Sucker Punch might do for the next game for company
1. Its so fitting that this battle felt like one between a superhero and a supervillain.
2. The saddest part id that if Alex had enocuntered someone like Cole, he might have been able to work through his nihilism.
3. We NEED remakes or at least modern remasters of these games.
A proper Infamous 3 with Cole returning (as there was just a HINT at the end of the good ending that a proper lightning strike might jumpstart him) would be a damned fine start.
Prototype got a remaster
Dontai actually recently played Infamous 1 and 2 and he LOVED them. He and chat were even saying the evil ending for the second one (where Cole took the Beast's powers) seemed like something straight out of Attack on Titan with how emotional and dark it was. He's going to play Second Son soon

I can count with one hand the amount of games that have made me cry. The evil ending of inFAMOUS2 is one of them. God I love this series so much.
While not exactly a remake, [PROTOTYPE] 1 and 2 did come to PlayStation 4 at some point
If it was Evil Cole the fight would have been a one shot because Evil Cole has an attack call Ionic Absorption which absorbs everything to the point the victim turns to ash.

You reqlise ionic refers to ions which if that would work on alex he wouldnt of survived prototype 1 the ionisation effect of radiation would of sterelised the virus and orevented regeneration since he was able heal from that shows ions have no impact on him
Would HIGHLY recommend playing Prototype and the older inFAMOUS games. They were so much fun, and this Death Battle was a dream come true to people who played them back in the day.
I hope they make another game, but maybe have it follow the evil ending of Infamous 2 instead like they thought they would be when they released it.

@@SonicSwift99yeah but Megatron and Optimus fought and won against regenesis shockwave who can control all the concepts in the universe like death and absorbed the dead universe which gave him control over time and space and Megatron was the one to actually kill him. Regenesis shockwave was scaled to be at high 6A tier and like I said they won. Optimus and Megatron have similar levels of durability and Optimus survived being warped into a black hole and survived. Megatron's fusion canon at low power could blow away galaxies with one blast and on top of all that raw power he has, he is also way smarter than frieza in terms of battle prowess. At one point in the comics he was directing and commanding over millions of decepticons in over 1000 battles all at the same time. So yeah IF it's idw Megatron he literally stomps the DB universe with negative diff
Infamous started with Cole acquiring his powers and ended with him defeating Kessler and learning about the Beast. Infamous 2 began with the Beast destroying Empire City and ended with Cole either sacrificing himself and all other Conduits to save the world, or becoming the Beast and saving the Conduits at the cost of the rest of humanity.

The Infamous ending was gonna be the canon ending. But the developers saw that most people did the good ending first by looking at the trophy data, so they dropped that idea and made the good ending canon instead. Which is sad because they didn’t realize that most people go the hero route first to get it over with. Most people prefer playing as the Infamous side… many of those casual players dropped the game after beating it once too and moved onto something else. funny how history is altered huh?

@@AceKite00 A classic example of developers being out of touch with the players. You gotta look up what the players are actually sayin about the game, data alone can be misleading. And the series definitely paid for it in the long run to since we all know how Infamous Second Sun went.
@AstroKite00 I played the hero route and enjoyed it. I started playing the infamous route and couldn't bring myself to finish it. Playing an "evil" character usually doesn't sit right with me.

Cole was in Street Fighter X TEKKEN which was cool. I can see Cole in one of those games too

Infamous is a series that is near and dear to my heart, so this Death Battle was a dream come true to me. As with many I wish that it could be remade or remastered to current gen consoles.
Prototype is actually pretty easy to get into nowadays since both games are on Steam and the PS Store. The Cole games are sadly stuck on PS3. They really need a remaster some day.

You gotta play Prototype. It's a blast. You really do feel like a straight up monster flinging helicopters and shredding through buildings.

So, Alex Mercer isn't actually dead in Prototype 2, instead, He's still alive because James Mercer hadn't absorbed Alex Mercer's arms into his being, so yeah, also in the game, it was stated that Alex Mercer would still be alive no matter what James Heller had done to him, so yeah, but I do believe that Alex Mercer could have actually won this, but great video and keep up the amazing work as always!
You gotta rewatch the ending. Heller absorbed all of the biomass in the entire city, including Alex's arms. So no, according to Prototype 2, Alex is gone.
However, Prototype 2 is garbage and you don't have to take it seriously.

I still do belive that Alex Mercer is alive. But, hey, I kept pausing and unpausing looking to see if Alex Mercer's arms had gotten absorbed, and I had seen them both still there
@@chompyboi5799 the hands are there at the start of the cut scene, before he absorbed all of the infected biomass in the city. You can't see if the hands are there after the cut scene. But judging by the way he absorbed infected biomass in the entire city, it wouldn't make sense for hands to still be there.
Infamous one and two was amazing. I am a huge infamous fan boy growing up from 2010 to 2016 and I can trust you infamous one and two is not regrettable. Both has amazing stories.

So fun fact, after Prototype 2, the company who produced this series, went into bankrupcy a few years after. Hence why there haven't been any reboots since the 2nd one. Imo, one of my favorite titles for the playstation 3 by far. Imagine you're the hulk, spiderman, wolverine, and watchdogs all in 1 game.
Both games are really impressive that they being the best “Comic Book Video Game” that brings chills on the back. Till watching this DB making me want to take out my PS3 to play the games back again 😁 I hope Sucker Punch make a comeback with a remaster of Infamous 1 and 2 with DLC included. As both game are amazing to play again with higher quality graphics and make the room light up with the powers of Cole’s. It’s quite sad for Prototype series as we never going to get a remastered version of those games since the Game company sadly shut down or possibly lost their business since they was know for doing Tony Hawk Games to Prototype series. So we might never see it coming back again, but you can still play it on “Game Plus” or if it’s on Steam, you can play it at its OG look.

This has been a debate for years!! There were so many parts I wasn’t sure I agreed with but I did agree with the results
I'm not gonna lie, I never understood the debate. I seemed obvious Cole wins.
This is a mix between Prototype 1 & Prototype 2, plus his comics.
I won't lie, I absolutely CHEERED in victory for Cole defeating Alex in this epic superhero vs supervillain battle. Which brings me to my biggest reaction thing I'd like everyone to think about for a second.
MHA students and teachers reacting to THIS Death Battle: Cole Macgrath vs Alex Mercer for three important reasons, hear me out.
1: Something like this would appeal to them greatly, as heroes themselves or heroes in training. Especially those like Denki who's quirk is electricity focused.
2: I want to see how their views on Cole are, considering what he did to be earned the hero title DID stop the Beast from bringing the apocalypse to the world, but in doing so killed THOUSANDS of people who was basically quirk users to do it, in order to save humanity who out numbered them at the time. It would surely be a hard pill to swallow for them and I feel it'd give them a bit of a wake up call to the shades of grey that exists in the world which could lead to some character development, you know? Looking at you fellow fanfic writers who know MHA FAR better than me! Personally, I view Cole as an Anti Hero that is borderline hero. One that is sometimes forced to make the hard decisions that Heroes wouldn't be able to do in most cases.
3: I feel this would be especially interesting to see how Izuku and All Might view this fight as Cole fights a villain who reminds them all too much of All For One, in the form of Alex Mercer. A broken hero turned villain when humanity betrayed him over and over again to the point he not only gave up on humanity, but wanted to make them better into his own image.
But that's just me, what do YOU ALL think of this idea?

Cole Mcgrath is by far my favorite video game character of all time
All I'm going to be honest and say why this video still-fresh is that I'm glad and happy that this was a true badass death battle fight in my boy Cole is the winner in the battle because the Infamous games with a true badass beyond comprehension
Redlight, the previous variant of Blacklight also goes through the same situation Blacklight does which is taking over its host Elizabeth Greene and is why the woman says to Blacklight "I am your mother", the Elizabeth we see & meet doesn't act human especially when talking to Blacklight.

yeah both stories for the games was a lot to condense to fully understand, but you guys should definitely play both game series. I remember playing the first Prototype game and getting freaked out at everything since I was still young when I had got it. Then got better at playing it and was enjoying myself. Though I do remember that I was playing the game through the whole story without upgrading any of my skills and it wasn't on purpose I just forgot that you could upgrade your skills in the game. So by the time I was half-way or quarter done with the entire game I had hit the select button and it took me to my skills screen and noticed I had a TON of XP saved up from not being used the whole time I was playing and smacked my face in exasperation.
I was struggling against the hunters in that game and the supreme hunter and other bosses cause all I had was the claws and saw at the time since both of those you get through story missions. And both were not upgraded so they I was just running around sparsely equipped. So when I found out/remembered I could upgrade my skills, I had nearly enough saved up XP to unlock everything available.
Infamous was my childhood game. Y'all HAVE GOT to play infamous 1, 2, and the sequel edition. Y'all will absolutely love it

The infamous series is really fun, 1 and 2 are great, especially 2 since its a huge improvement of 1. Second son is okay, and the gameplay is still fun and all but the karma system is weak to almost non existent in second son. still a good story/gameplay if you ask me. prototype is also a really good game too, though I liked infamous more lol.
Don't underestimate Megatron. He is actually OP in the expanded material, like the comics.

Fun Fact: the track for Cole vs Alex is called “[inHuman]”
Something I don’t think I’ve seen anyone bring up about this is that Cole actually had another massive advantage against Alex due to his ice powers. The Black Light virus is shown to have a weakness to extreme cold slowing it down, which bring up the question of why the enemies in Prototype didn’t make greater use of that little weakness in game.

@@justsomeguywholovesberserk6375 Well tbf, if you aren't reading comics (which most people don't do) it's very easy to not think Megatron is more powerful than he seems. Most people only know him from animated media, movies, games...and toys. None of which properly represent his level of power.
I definitely recommend prototype 1 and 2 both games are hella fun
