1:52 when he said what you didn't understand, he asked if you were from Algeria. Likely because he saw a white man speaking Arabic, a lot of Algerians have some french blood in them and will look white, and they speak Arabic mother tongue.

depends. there are two types. ones who are very kind-hearted and will go out of their way to help you in times of need, and others who are complete decks.
The reason some of them ask him if he's Muslim is because they're deciding how to treat him. I grew up in the Middle East, and I always got asked that question, and when I said no, the bullying began.

@@MagpieTimes I’m sorry for what you’ve been through.. I mentioned hospitality because it is one of the treats that majority of people have even if they aren’t doing well financially.. but hospitality doesn’t really determine if a person is nice or not
Middle East is just like any part of the world, some people are good and some are bad.. although most people won’t judge you by your religion but I’m seriously so sorry for what you’ve been through🙏🏻

@@MagpieTimes also I can’t really be sure what their intentions were when they asked him that, but I know most people will ask that when they hear a foreigner learning or speaking Arabic.. majority of people who learns Arabic are either Muslims or interested in learning about Islam

As an Arab, for all people who are trying to learn Arabic I say to them:
    الله يعينكم😅
    Meaning:
    May God help you😅
Because it is a hard language, just for learning the letters you would take time
For every letter it has 2-3 forms at least based on the location of that letter
Also the vowels symbols there are main threw vowels that can change the sound of tge lettet
I am not trying to discourage you but really it is hard
But if you could learn it, I can assure you, you would love speaking this language 😊

As someone born in palestine, who lived all life in brazil is really good to see that there are educated people in america that knows thing aren't black in white and can see the colours. My grandfather came in a ship from palestine in the 50's and died without the perspective of seeing a solution to the apartheid and occupation of his land. Really glad you can recognize the existence of Palestinians. Anyways, I love your content and inspires me to lear my 5th language (german). If you need practice with palestinian dialect (which is very similar to all Levant languages) I can give you a hand, I need to improve it as well haha. Peace, man. 🤟

In my point of view, most Arabic people are not from these countries for example Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan. Are not good people. In facts, as we see in this video, UAE person likes to meet this guest. I know them most of them are very friendly. For instance, he will makes a dinner for you also do some fun exercises. For example, camping and some stuff like that. By the way, I’m from Saudi Arabia and I know UAE population. On the other hand, as we can see Lebanony person is did conversation about dirty things.
