How are your goats and your camels?
Hi Abu Asher, its me the one who came aboard the ship and spoke to you in Arabic. MashaAllah keep up the good work and I didn't know you were this good in Arabic. By the way thank you for the conversation when I came to visit the ship
Hey awesome! Glad to see your comment here! It was great to have a conversation with you! Blessings to you and your family!
@@abuasher Ameen. Same to you brother
Omani people are so friendly and respectful.
Prophet Muhammad pbuh said :- If you were to come to the people of Oman they would have never insulted you not abused you.
Yep, they are very friendly
Mashallah, love your vids man ! I appreciate you learning the leventine dialect because it's the most understood in the arab world, when all other newlearners go and speak Egyptian dialects which are a little harder and more different than standard arabic, keep it up man !
Thanks for the encouragement! 😁 You’re a legend ☺️
Love seeing your vids in the feed
And I love seeing your comment on this video 😁
You most come to Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦, and you are welcome any time
Thank you! I hope to visit later this year! Inshallah 😁
My camels and goats are very well fed
I’m glad to hear that! 😁 Mine aren’t doing so good.
Love yours vids from France💖💖
Thanks! 😁
You sound totally fluent - how did you learn Arabic so fast? Loved the video. Blessings to you three! Tom & Sharon
Hey Tom and Sharon! Great to hear from you! No, I am still not completely fluent. But it’s been about 1.5 years of study, so that’s the secret 😅
Just started to watch you. Cool, really cool videos
You’re watching me? 😨😳
Thanks 😁
Hey bro, your videos are very inspiring for me. I am a bit confused on what to learn, Egyptian, Leventine or Fusha. Which type of Arabic are you speaking? My goal is like you to talk to people. I don't care about reading or news, I just want to have social chats like you. You speak the leventine ??
Hey, great to hear you’re interested in studying Arabic and getting to know locals (that’s the fun part)! I do speak the Levantine dialect. I would say if you’re just interested in speaking, either Levantine or Egyptian. Levantine is more broadly understood and closer to traditional Arabic incase you ever wanted to learn that, but there are a lot more resources like books, films and even teachers for the Egyptian dialect and most people will understand the Egyptian dialect, but fewer than the Levantine. Hope this helps! If you ever need more help, let me know.
Thank you for your quick answer. I like levantine more and will stick with that. Your video inspired me to focus on a dialect instead of Fusha! Hope to speak one day like you my friend!@@abuasher
I’m glad to have inspired you in some small way! You definitely won’t regret it!
@@abuasher Hm... I will learn the Egyptian dialect because my relatives from my fathers side are living there. So that should be my choice I guess. I had some time with a teacher from Syria but the teacher moved away from my home area so I have to find a new one.
hey did people answer in omani dialect? Is it intellegible with levantine dialect?
Yeah, they all spoke to me in Omani dialect. I think it’s quite hard to understand other dialects in the beginning, but once you start to have some exposure to them it isn’t so bad.
There's a word that you said like twice but I couldn't make it out. You used it twice after these sentences:
ممكن بالعري
And again
انا بعرف العربي
Yeah close 😁 the first is, “maybe in Arabic” the second is, “I know Arabic.”
@@abuasheropps I misspelled Arabic on the first one lol. But you said "mumkin bil Arabi tinam or kinam. I swear I hear another word lol
Ahh, I see what you mean! I believe I said kaman which means as well or also.
