I finally figured out a great balance with Legendary difficulty, for me, so I wanted to share. I created a manager career with a created team, the Krakn Tentacles🐙(respect the name🤣). The team is 2.5 stars, in the Cinche Scottish Premiership, and by now players are around 67-74 overall. What I did when altering the sliders is only messing with the CPU's values and not the user's. In addition, I only focused on adjusting the error values. RESULTS ( I played the same way I always do): Draw 1-1 Draw 2-2 Win 2-1 Loss 5-1 (I've never been happier for a loss) Loss 1-2 (UEL vs Man Utd) SLIDERS (From the top, again CPUs only): Shot Error: 72 Pass Error: 72 Shot Speed: 28 Pass Speed: 28 Goal Keeper Ability: 28 Marking: 0 (Otherwise Legendary vibes kick in) Run Frequency: 0 (Same reason) (They also definitely still make runs, go figure) First Touch Error: 72 Everything else is at 50. I want to mention that these worked for me as you can see by the results but number one, it does not necessarily mean that they will work as the team progresses and gets better in a season. Number two, they may not necessarily work for you based on so many variables like team/players ratings (just like Broma's respectfully may not work for you either), so I wanted to go over the process of how I found these numbers. PROCESS: Obviously start all sliders at 50 with Legendary on. Play a game. Inevitably, the first game you will feel the wrath of Legendary mode😈. At this point, I began to adjust the values above by splitting them in half based on the feeling of the game. So, let's say I lost 1 - 20 (excessive? I'd say), I split shot speed from 50 to 25, on the other hand I split shot error from 50 to 75. If I found my team was unreasonably dominant, I split shot speed from 50 to 75, then shot error from 50 to 25. Keep splitting those numbers (i.e between 50 and 75 (63) and so on and so forth based on the feel of the game. Eventually, you will find that the game will become balanced, you're basically tipping a balance weight scale on each end until it reaches equilibrium. This at the very least will provide you with a baseline so that you can adjust things how you want after. I was a bit nervous for the Man Utd game because I wanted to lose it since my brand new team should have no shot winning that. You also want to let realism take place. What I mean by that is don't do things like run your Center Forward back to defend the box while the opponent is on the run and don't try to sprint past every player, it's just not realistic. Cheers 🍻 UPDATE: After about a month I have increased the differences by 6. So you'll definitely have to adjust it as your players gain more overall. Also, what I started doing is even if your settings are balanced, also increasing the difference by 3 against top clubs (like Man Utd) and in leagues like Champions/Europa.
man i love you, i play player career most of time but with default slider game went crazy most time like 5-4, 8-2, like it's not even enjoyable to play you just feel buzy. Then i try ur slider and first game went way more realistic, first game was a 3-2 and each goal my team scored, was really hard to get but so great ! i love it and i just want to say thx to you cuz ur making my game way more realistic !
Just tried these, I usually play on legendary/ultimate, so bringing it down to world class was a weird idea to me, had no idea the game would not only retain general difficulty, but the teams actually play football, it isn’t just end to end. There’s actual build up play Tweaks I made: I set the marking to 100 for cpu, made every touch and pass meaningful, makes you more careful picking out your passes Changed the injury severity to 30, started getting regular 3-7 month so that’s annoying Instead of manual, went with semi Other than that, closest to irl sim I’ve seen
Speaking of legendary difficulty, i play it mainly in kick off games with default sliders (all on 50) and the ai is pretty darn hard when they control a strong team like psg (of course don't expect realistic events here. their 35 year old messi is faster than my rashford). But as soon as i played the same difficulty in UCL, i usually win 5-0. So my experience was that default sliders legendary in kick off games is usually the most challenging (at least if psg is your opponent), but in other modes, the ai is a joke.
@@tatsuyaradheya3528 the issue is, if you understand how to defend the legendary ai, which is jokey and cut off passing lanes, defensively, they leave way too much space, especially on the counter, if you face a team like Liverpool, you’d put minimum 4 past them because there’s no real ai defensive awareness
You must be pro, give me some tips I have been playing with world class difficulty, without winning a single match, 😢 i can easily win by professional ai but this world class difficulty is trash

If you are, the first thing I would say focus on is defending: • first and most importantly be patient, the game knows if you’re defending erratically and will punish you • when controlling defenders, never draw them out of position unless there is either guaranteed cover for that defenders position, or you’re guaranteed to get the ball • make sure you use the right stick to switch players, (fifa tends to switch to wrong defender) jockeying is key, always jockey and stay in front of the defender never try tackle, the AI will dance past you, only tackle when it is guaranteed you will get the ball. • while jockeying, keep in mind what’s happening around you, cut off dangerous passing lanes, try to push them wide or back when jockeying • also double tapping R1/RB allows for more organised and disciplined secondary press Passing: • once again, be patient • pass as if it’s a real game, don’t be afraid to reset, don’t be afraid to make the boring passes, remember the game will punish you for consistently rushing. • keep switches in mind (a long ball from 1 side of the pitch to the other) wingers, depending on their instructions, tend to hug the line a lot, even when the ball is on the opposite side • this will take time to master, but flick the right stick immediately after passing, this allows you to manually control the off ball run the passer makes, when you master this you’ll have more dynamic attacks, especially against more difficult teams. • when receiving a pass, if the defender is close, use L2/LT to protect the ball and have a more secure first touch, if you have decent space, hold L1/LB, close control but still allows you to turn quickly • when making first time passes, only ever make them in these two situations, player is close and it’s a safe pass, and as a sort of flick to a player running into space • centre backs with good passing are very useful, they’ll help you break that first line of press, R1/RB for a driven pass into cms or wingers Attacking/dribbling/shooting • be conscious of where your shoot and where you aim, you keep wasting chances the game will punish you • when dribbling, R1/RB is good for tight spaces and intricate turns and cut ins, play around with it in training and get comfortable with the way it functions • when dribbling, L1/LB when moving at pace and wanting to keep your pace, while sprinting and approaching a defender, let go of the sprint button and use L1/LB and pick a direction to move around the defender then press sprint again to move away from the defender • be careful with how you use the sprint button, only use it when moving into open space, learn to play without the sprint button, it’ll help you focus and improve on your passing
Good work Broma! I have tried these sliders and the ones you put out before aswell and it’s been fun. One thing i’ve noticed though is that you really should have run frequency on 50 since it affects your pressing very much when you have it lower. Another thing is that the players barely gets tired which means that you don’t have to rotate the squad at all and if you are playing career mode you want too keep it realistic and rotate the squad now and then.
Took my sentiments right outta my brain... Though I upped my run frequency to 30. And for the rotation I basically created separate team sheets which I constantly have to remind myself to keep to lol but it's fun and more realistic anyway because I get to keep tabs on who's outta form and who needs game time rather than going by their energy bars.

I'm wondering if a patch or something made these obsolete. Both the Operation Sports sliders and these I win my games 4-0, 5-0, hell I beat City 7-0, regardless of difficulty. My first season in career mode is the only difficult one before every team becomes a practice match. I know I'm playing a two year old game, but EA doesn't get my money. Waiting for 24 on gamepass. Is EAFC 24 any better? Thank you Broma for all the great videos year after year to keep these games fun.
Hi Broma i love watching your sliders settings great work ,my advice for ppl who would like to make the game a little harder is also to give the ai an 1-2 bump in acc compare to user exemple my acc is at 50 ai is at 51 they close down on your attackers faster making it more challenging,i don’t go crazy like OS cause they put like sprint user 20 and ai 51 and the acc 51 user and ai at 55 so i feel im just trying to run to catch them up but just 1-2 bump makes it better challenging !!
Should these be different in career mode when I’m not controlling the whole team? I just want more balanced games where my team doesn’t take the ball away as much and doesn’t move the ball upfield as easily

Hey bro maybe you can help me I playing FIFA 23 against AI When I using "WORLD CLASS AI" My player shot alone. I just need to click circle and they power and directed is automatic. (to easy and not fun) But when I use "professional" Its not like that. I can choose the power and the directed. How do I change it?
I would really appreciate it if you could reply to what I wrote because I tried so hard. With the first version released at the end of September, I played on ps5 for months and tried many settings. I hadn't updated any game until last week. I played with the first update for months, believe me offline. I tried a lot with 15 minutes half, ultimate level, normal speed and OS slider settings. Last night I combined it with these settings you gave me. My problem is: no matter what I do, the defense does not press one-on-one like in real life. There are definitely gaps between delays or defenders. My problem is not the speed or gameplay of the game, I am quite satisfied at that point. But I want to have vicious matches like in real life and a defensive line that I can't pass no matter what I do. Let's make lots of sets. The defensive line somehow gives gaps or cannot close gaps with realistic hardness. I want to live the long game, I play long circuits. Your settings are really nice, but the acceleration and speed settings unfortunately cause delays in the defense.I played pes 2020 and 21 until last year. Fifa is very close to the level I want right now, but I can't catch those vicious matches as in Pes. I was playing half in pes for 25 minutes and in the 70th minute, sometimes I had only one effective attack, the score continued 0-0. That's the vibe I'm looking for.. Thanks and good luck
@@Broma18 Have you ever turned to the defense after the attacks you made and turned the ball slowly and even cooled the game a bit? PES made people do just that. but it is far behind in terms of animation and physics. The easy method seems to be PES open and playing again, but it doesn't. I feel sorry for FIFA because there are moments when I really feel like in the stands, it's like poison. I hope after 2 months something will be as we want in the new game. I'm 33 years old and I want football to stay the same as it was 15 years ago. :) For now, keep messing with your settings. thanks for reply..
Biggest problem with the normal gameplay is that it's way too fast making the game feel clucky and unfun which also it way too easy and pass through the Ai and score. The fact we have to change the sliders to this degree says a lot...
@broma18 Bro, you’ve done it again! 😃 Loving these new sliders. I play on semi….Full manual be kicking my ass lol. But notice a clear difference in the quality of marking when playing “bigger teams.” Also the reduced speed of passing & movement is perfect for enjoyable without being ping pong. Especially with the trapping handicaps. Currently playing a Real Madrid Career Mode. On another note, also noticed after the last couple FIFA updates - seem to be suffering way more injuries. Regularly having 3 or 4 players at various stages being out. Which I love, just noted a significant increase last few weeks. Keep up the great content! 👍🏾
I only started playing fifa about a year ago This was after not playing since pro evo 2006 i think I watched some of the online pros and always wondered how they do what they do till i eventually realised they use assisted settings. I also realised a lot of people lie about destroyng legendary level on full manual controls, yet there there is not a single shred of evidence . If it was even humanly possible it would be all over youtube, showing the entire set up not just the game. The whole online fifa is a pathetic fraud and i cant believe people go along with it, it should definitely be manual or at least predominantly manual, so much more skillful, realistic and fun. I played some games against cpu on semi assisted settings and its so arcady and boring its beyond a joke and what is even worse is that most people prefer it which just goes to show how dumbed down people are. I do realise though that some settings are better on semi such as crossing because the manual setting is far more difficult than crossing in real life football which only makes it useless and also unrealistic All other passes and shots though should be manual eventually

I don't believe myself. I thought that the lower the number of errors in finishing, the better it'd be for gameplay. No wonder I won 3 UCL in a row and found really easy 😂😂😂
These are fantastic. I lose 99.9% of my games, then I switch to professional and I score 20 goals in 4 min halfs. I swear this is the most unbalanced game ever. Fifa fucking sucks someone needs to make a better game.
I‘ve read a pretty well formulated reddit Post the other day that actually advised to turn up the acceleration when the game is to easy for a Operation sports slider set as acceleration is the slider that effects more than just getting to max speed! I‘ve been using those and it made a really big difference especially the difference between good and lower league teams became really apparent. How do you feel about that? My speed and acc slider for user and cpu are Speed: user- 7 cpu 10 Acc: user- 50 cpu 55 It plays really well with operation sports that I could link as well
I think difficulty Ultimate is more challenging.İt force you to more passing.I dont know I just tried World Class and scoreboard being unrealistic cuz I had lots of goals

So I do alot of AI v AI tourne sweepstake stuff and yeah you’ve nailed it here with the positional stuff , acce I’d leave offline with 50 as that’s their main use and full backs on 48/49 as they all run up bit unrealistic but you’ve nailed it and I used alot of OS sliders , world class and normal game speed is definitely best from the 100 games I’ve now watched
What do you mean by “offline”? I’m curious, as I’m looking for some new sliders to try, because my sliders were reset for some reason, and I couldn’t remember where I found the old ones, so I found some new sliders that just didn’t feel very good.

Depends on what you're looking for, and what your definition of fun is. These settings allow for a less pinball-like Football game, and a more realistic variation of Fifa. Some people enjoy the easy, laid-back experience with the arcade-like experience. Others may want a more realistic interpretation. Just depends on what you're looking for in the game - these sliders give the liberty of the players to enjoy the game how they want:)
this works great for me, only issue I’m having is that the opposition just seems to get no chances on world class and I’m almost on fully manual defending, any ideas how to make them make more chances?
I find it that i cant play down the middle, my midfielders are always closed down. Is that just a me thing? How do you go about that?( Tactics? Style of play?)

My issue is I'm playing in legendary/ultimate when play be a pro player mode cause the world class is too ez, but im sick of the AI clutchmaster like they're having prime Ronaldo in their squads, no matter how much I scored, they tends to comeback😂
Moved up to Legendary this season and lost 10 games out of 13. My squad of 90+ stat players feels like 65+, pass errors, through balls not being pushed in to space. Players acceleration nerfed to high heaven, pass speed so slow the AI seems to intercept way too often. Then clash rebounds which go to the opposition 90% of the time. And then, my players with 90+ shot accuracy are only hitting the target one out of 3 attempts..wtfffff! Need to try these sliders because at the moment, its either too easy(world-class )or too hard (legendary).
@@Broma18 I have only one question here mate! In the Game Settings, the one thats about attributes. In the description it goes like: by setting this to default player attributes will be modifed. Classic will give you the classic FIFA experience. So, my first reaction was putting this to classic since I just didnt want players stats to change based on their position. You seem to prefer it on default. Have you tried anything on that field? Does it really affect the gameplay? Cheers! keep it up

Hi, good job!!! Unfortunately the other problem is the camera. Personally with EA Cam I struggle to play FUMA especially with the shot when I'm on the opposite side. The best, in my opinion, would be broadcast but it changes the gameplay and there is much more Tiki taka even keeping the same sliders
@@Broma18 It kinda works. You can't play it with worldclass difficulty because then the defending becomes braindead with no pressing. You can just walk right past the defenders. Same goes for the other team. Just walking past your team's defence. It works rather well with legendary difficulty. It also depends on what position you play.

I'm wondering if a patch or something made these obsolete. Both the Operation Sports sliders and these I win my games 4-0, 5-0, hell I beat City 7-0, regardless of difficulty. My first season in career mode is the only difficult one before every team becomes a practice match. I know I'm playing a two year old game, but EA doesn't get my money. Waiting for 24 on gamepass. Is EAFC 24 any better? Thank you Broma for all the great videos year after year to keep these games fun.
Hi Broma i love watching your sliders settings great work ,my advice for ppl who would like to make the game a little harder is also to give the ai an 1-2 bump in acc compare to user exemple my acc is at 50 ai is at 51 they close down on your attackers faster making it more challenging,i don’t go crazy like OS cause they put like sprint user 20 and ai 51 and the acc 51 user and ai at 55 so i feel im just trying to run to catch them up but just 1-2 bump makes it better challenging !!

When I using "WORLD CLASS AI" My player shot alone. I just need to click circle and they power and directed is automatic. (to easy and not fun)
But when I use "professional" Its not like that. I can choose the power and the directed.

I would really appreciate it if you could reply to what I wrote because I tried so hard. With the first version released at the end of September, I played on ps5 for months and tried many settings. I hadn't updated any game until last week. I played with the first update for months, believe me offline. I tried a lot with 15 minutes half, ultimate level, normal speed and OS slider settings. Last night I combined it with these settings you gave me. My problem is: no matter what I do, the defense does not press one-on-one like in real life. There are definitely gaps between delays or defenders. My problem is not the speed or gameplay of the game, I am quite satisfied at that point. But I want to have vicious matches like in real life and a defensive line that I can't pass no matter what I do. Let's make lots of sets. The defensive line somehow gives gaps or cannot close gaps with realistic hardness. I want to live the long game, I play long circuits. Your settings are really nice, but the acceleration and speed settings unfortunately cause delays in the defense.I played pes 2020 and 21 until last year. Fifa is very close to the level I want right now, but I can't catch those vicious matches as in Pes. I was playing half in pes for 25 minutes and in the 70th minute, sometimes I had only one effective attack, the score continued 0-0. That's the vibe I'm looking for.. Thanks and good luck
Yeah I think you’ll struggle to match FIFA gameplay with PES unfortunately. PES was just too far ahead in terms of the tactical elements of the game.
@@Broma18 Have you ever turned to the defense after the attacks you made and turned the ball slowly and even cooled the game a bit? PES made people do just that. but it is far behind in terms of animation and physics. The easy method seems to be PES open and playing again, but it doesn't. I feel sorry for FIFA because there are moments when I really feel like in the stands, it's like poison. I hope after 2 months something will be as we want in the new game. I'm 33 years old and I want football to stay the same as it was 15 years ago. :) For now, keep messing with your settings. thanks for reply..

Biggest problem with the normal gameplay is that it's way too fast making the game feel clucky and unfun which also it way too easy and pass through the Ai and score. The fact we have to change the sliders to this degree says a lot...
@broma18 Bro, you’ve done it again! 😃 Loving these new sliders. I play on semi….Full manual be kicking my ass lol. But notice a clear difference in the quality of marking when playing “bigger teams.” Also the reduced speed of passing & movement is perfect for enjoyable without being ping pong. Especially with the trapping handicaps. Currently playing a Real Madrid Career Mode. On another note, also noticed after the last couple FIFA updates - seem to be suffering way more injuries. Regularly having 3 or 4 players at various stages being out. Which I love, just noted a significant increase last few weeks.

This was after not playing since pro evo 2006 i think
I watched some of the online pros and always wondered how they do what they do till i eventually realised they use assisted settings.
I also realised a lot of people lie about destroyng legendary level on full manual controls, yet there there is not a single shred of evidence .
If it was even humanly possible it would be all over youtube, showing the entire set up not just the game.
The whole online fifa is a pathetic fraud and i cant believe people go along with it, it should definitely be manual or at least predominantly manual, so much more skillful, realistic and fun.
I played some games against cpu on semi assisted settings and its so arcady and boring its beyond a joke and what is even worse is that most people prefer it which just goes to show how dumbed down people are.
I do realise though that some settings are better on semi such as crossing because the manual setting is far more difficult than crossing in real life football which only makes it useless and also unrealistic
All other passes and shots though should be manual eventually
I had from 6 to 10 score each game, i tried this i had 6 goal in two matches. Now playing careers make sense again

I don't believe myself. I thought that the lower the number of errors in finishing, the better it'd be for gameplay. No wonder I won 3 UCL in a row and found really easy 😂😂😂

These are fantastic. I lose 99.9% of my games, then I switch to professional and I score 20 goals in 4 min halfs. I swear this is the most unbalanced game ever. Fifa fucking sucks someone needs to make a better game.
I‘ve read a pretty well formulated reddit Post the other day that actually advised to turn up the acceleration when the game is to easy for a Operation sports slider set as acceleration is the slider that effects more than just getting to max speed!
I‘ve been using those and it made a really big difference especially the difference between good and lower league teams became really apparent.
How do you feel about that?
My speed and acc slider for user and cpu are
Speed: user- 7 cpu 10
Acc: user- 50 cpu 55
It plays really well with operation sports that I could link as well

So I do alot of AI v AI tourne sweepstake stuff and yeah you’ve nailed it here with the positional stuff , acce I’d leave offline with 50 as that’s their main use and full backs on 48/49 as they all run up bit unrealistic but you’ve nailed it and I used alot of OS sliders , world class and normal game speed is definitely best from the 100 games I’ve now watched
What do you mean by “offline”? I’m curious, as I’m looking for some new sliders to try, because my sliders were reset for some reason, and I couldn’t remember where I found the old ones, so I found some new sliders that just didn’t feel very good.

Depends on what you're looking for, and what your definition of fun is. These settings allow for a less pinball-like Football game, and a more realistic variation of Fifa.
Some people enjoy the easy, laid-back experience with the arcade-like experience. Others may want a more realistic interpretation.
Just depends on what you're looking for in the game - these sliders give the liberty of the players to enjoy the game how they want:)

My issue is I'm playing in legendary/ultimate when play be a pro player mode cause the world class is too ez, but im sick of the AI clutchmaster like they're having prime Ronaldo in their squads, no matter how much I scored, they tends to comeback😂

Do the players ever get tired in your games with these sliders?
Moved up to Legendary this season and lost 10 games out of 13. My squad of 90+ stat players feels like 65+, pass errors, through balls not being pushed in to space. Players acceleration nerfed to high heaven, pass speed so slow the AI seems to intercept way too often. Then clash rebounds which go to the opposition 90% of the time. And then, my players with 90+ shot accuracy are only hitting the target one out of 3 attempts..wtfffff! Need to try these sliders because at the moment, its either too easy(world-class )or too hard (legendary).

@@Broma18 I have only one question here mate! In the Game Settings, the one thats about attributes. In the description it goes like: by setting this to default player attributes will be modifed. Classic will give you the classic FIFA experience. So, my first reaction was putting this to classic since I just didnt want players stats to change based on their position. You seem to prefer it on default. Have you tried anything on that field? Does it really affect the gameplay?

Unfortunately the other problem is the camera. Personally with EA Cam I struggle to play FUMA especially with the shot when I'm on the opposite side. The best, in my opinion, would be broadcast but it changes the gameplay and there is much more Tiki taka even keeping the same sliders

@@Broma18 It kinda works. You can't play it with worldclass difficulty because then the defending becomes braindead with no pressing. You can just walk right past the defenders. Same goes for the other team. Just walking past your team's defence. It works rather well with legendary difficulty.
It also depends on what position you play.
