So these are my recommended settings for those of you wanting a slower paced, more manual type experience.
You can cater to them to your needs, if its to slow, then speed it up and vica versa. There is no set sliders that works for everyone, we all have different tastes right!

These are MY personal recommendations, of course its different for everyone!
Since making this video, I have tweaked the following to just speed it up a touch.
Spring Speed for Both - From (5) to 10
Pass Speed for CPU - From (7) to 10

Issue I find with dropping the sprint / acceleration sliders down is that the players don’t fatigue, and you can play the same 11 in 3 games straight within a week and their stamina will practically be full
Experimented this morning and these are the best set I've found so far. I've made a small change to User Pass Speed and I don't play Manual but everything else is perfect.

Just come across this video. I will watch in full when I get a chance. Nice to see someone switch to manual controls and give it a go. The manual community has dwindled in recent years, about 5 years ago it was quite large, and tbh some of the mechanics have become less manual over the last few years. However it's well worth sticking with it mate and hopefully your video will persuade others to give it a go.

If you turn the crosses to manual you can make farther and stronger long passes that you can not do with normal lob passes(L1+triangle), so you can do this longer and stronger lob passes for pacey strikers to take advantage of their speed. I have it on manual and for long passes I don't use L1+triangle almost never, I use the cross button to make those long passes less lob and more direct and farther

We badly need more sliders like dribbling speed slider and players motion slider and skill moves speed slider so when we put it down the game will be ultra realistic
Need a proper touch slider, the current one does nothing. Need a slider for passes under pressure too, defenders shouldn't be able to ping an accurate switch while the ball is rolling toward them and 3 players are closing them down

Hi, is there a decent pad controller button fix for pc? Had this issue with every fifa I have played on pc. I use a PlayStation pad with an adapter, always have, but continually get this every release. Great video, i'll be trying these settings.
Great Vid TTB , yes this year game is better of course but the problem is to find the proper speed to get a good match tempo the problem is if you put down too much the acc than the players or not fast too close you down and also their stamina never goes down but on the other hand too high the acceleration than the game becomes ping pong tiki taka so the passing speed is really where we have to play to get it moving at a good tempo i have user on 25 and ai on 15 but i play slow but it’s good thing you have the passing speed slower !!
Stamina is only affected by acceleration which is set at 50 in this set.

It’s the ice skating that ruins it for me. I would enjoy this game so much if it wasn’t for the player movement. I can’t play like that. I see it and immediately don’t want to play anymore I don’t understand why FIFA has the worst character movement in all video games.
yeah i had to use my custom sliders and it's so fun so far in my Espanyol save. I haven't won yet. Drew 0-0 to Sassuolo, lost 1-0 to Bologna, then lost 1-0 to Fiorentina before losing 3-0 to Real Madrid. Realistic gameplay and scorelines and it's so much fun, feels like it's hard to actually just break away and I'm often finishing with 50% possession, constantly battling in the midfield third.

hey ricky, love the videos. when i used the sliders i ended up putting the width up (for both) and it made it feel a lot more realistic and better for me. would recommend trying it i had a bit of fun with it 👍
i used his settings and found it very difficult to get chances and would often get 2 goal games max, do u get more chances with putting up the width?
@@Itzmasonnn i still find it pretty hard to create chances consistently in every game but i think it’s down to needing to practice more with manual controls. try lowering the marking for the cpu if it gets too bad though
put the acceleration down to 46 or 45 and you have less of the moonwalking and skaty dribbling. Also adds inertia

If you play Fifa, just stick with it. Don’t start playing PES21 because that will ruin it for you. You’ll realize Fifa looks nothing like real football lol.

I applaud you for pushing full manual. Assisted is fine for offline play but online should be manual only, and should've been since FIFA 11. Git gud applies to every other game except FIFA it seems, where "pro" players can play for hours every day on settings where you just have to press X X X O to score. I've been playing manual since FIFA 10, play a dozen games on assisted every year to make sure it's still just as easy, then go back to manual and stay there. That's how FIFA should be.
Your sliders for offline manual play are good, however the issues lie within the sliders themselves. Some of them don't make anywhere near enough difference (line height, fullback positioning etc), and some sliders don't exist that *really* need to. In particular, how much the opposition press (no matter the difficulty level you can just walk up to their box and they won't press), and pass/shot error needs to be further broken down into sliders for short pass error, long pass error etc. Stamina base level and stamina recovery speed also needs a slider each.
They don't care though, as long as people are playing FUT on assisted controls, they're happy
There are also major issues in the base defensive AI, regardless of sliders, that become apparent once you become a competent manual player. CPU AI simply does not understand how to double up on a player, making it way too easy for your fullbacks to overlap your winger, and for you to play a pass round the corner to them to just run straight down the line. The same issue is present with a ball over the top down the line from a fullback to winger. Once that one wide opposition player is cleared, no one else covers for the whole length of the pitch.
Secondly the CPU AI absolutely does not track the runner on either manually requested runs (tap L1) or 1-2 passes (L1 + X). Regardless of your marking slider they are never marked. Any sort of defensive intelligence would see 1 opposition player follow them until your player has passed the back line, and then let them offside. If they mistime it, they should then follow you. But this never happens, your player will always be allowed to just freely run through, meaning that with a bit of practice, even on manual, you can just play a 1-2 pass into your midfielder, and time the ball over the top for when your runner approaches the opposition back line. Because the CPU doesn't press, this will never fail.
It's basic stuff that EA just don't play test.
Looks very similar to pes21 in terms of for a fifa game. Deffinently gonna try this but with cameras on broadcast
Out of curiosity, can you elaborate what exactly is broken, if you set the crossing to manual?
Shot speed 60,70 because you dont have to use power shot at all.Shot speed at 50 is to low because the ball is so slow when you shoot.EA made this , because they add power shot.
I have a burning question.
Once I was able to figure out how to jockey properly with assisted jockeying and tactical defending settings set to on, the gaming experience that I have playing FUT on FIFA 23 is by far the best footballing gaming experience ever. And please consider that I have played every single video game that has come out related to football/soccer since 1984.... my first game was Real Sports Soccer for the Atari 2600.
But for some reason I cannot recreate the same sense of immersion as I have on FUT while doing career mode ((i do lower division career mode).
I have found the sweet spot for the sliders in career mode which is basically slowing everything down, compacting my "line length" to zero and bumping up the error sliders considerably, but it's not as much fun and immersive as FUT.
Does anybody have any idea what slider settings FUT AI set to Professional level would play at?
I don't play as much anymore due to business, but I did manuals for 10 years. Won div 1 title on seasons multiple times against assisted players, I would consider myself the best manual player in the world. Couple of tips
1. Shoot with RB and A or R1 and X it's a no back lift rocket that stays low and because it's not a shot alot of keepers react late. Allows you to play anyone upfront as long as their passing is 80 plus
2. Tap X before a 50/50 or incoming slide tackle to chip it over the defender. Literally just a light tap, you'll get the ball on the otherside
3. It's tempting to use X or A for all passes, but use Y or triangle for through balls as the players don't register it
4. If you get really good, you can use LB or L1 and X or A to nutmeg or knock it past the defender, like kicking it on and chasing kind of thing, a pass to yourself basically if you have pace and space
5. Use half passes, put less weight on a pass to draw a defender and drag people where you want
6. Pick the side of the defender you want to pass to, and the foot of the player you're passing to, once you get that good you destroy people
7. Edge of the box half pass layoffs so someone can run onto them
8. RB and A or R1 and X GK throws put you 1 on 1 when you throw it slightly wide as defences don't get involved until the ball is near
9. Use RB and A or R1 and X for quick under pressure passes otherwise you won't generate the power in time
10. Keep it short and simple, be patient, you can't force manuals like assisted. An 8 yo on UT can hold through ball and Mbappe does all the work. But on manuals it has to be on, it's 100% skill

Gonna have to try this one out been using broma18 sliders but after using them for while been finding them a little too easy now but if anyone is just starting I recommend using broma18 one first then going to these as when I tried do full manual straight away found it very hard so went from assisted to semi for thew days now on manual loving the shooting just pain getting used to short passes cheers for sliders Rick your a life saver 👍👍

@@chiiv999 they was okay but still to easy I’ve gone back to just normal legendary setting now with no sliders been enjoying it a lot more they seemed to have fixed it If you play 5 at the back it plays very well on the normal legendary sliders just take 4 or 5 games to get use to or start in the mls league for a season then go to the big ones and you should be fine
I’ve tried Matt10 slides and I don’t really understand how it’s possible to have 72 as line length. Isn’t it way to high ?
Hi, I've seen similar setups - except I always have the problem that the setup lasts for x number of matches and then I don't know if it bugs again - because then the matches are completely different. It changes the speed, the fluidity everything

I was a total PES 20/21 addict for years; since it/they came out. I hated all the FIFAs and would put em back on the shelf after a few minutes.
I played FIFA 23, hated it. Then I started tweaking the sliders and I finally got the sliders right (including line height and line width which are critical) and I absolutely love it and I believe that FIFA 23 is the pinnacle of football games that are still available.
I now absolutely hate how unresponsive and "nerfed" the PES games are. In fact, I enjoy pes 18 and pes 19 much more than pes 20/21.
Just my opinion with no intent other than to pick up my controller and be excited about playing a realistic football game.
My console is a PS5 and I know that next gen matters on FIFA 23.

All I need is for ea to improve the defending or change the defense system to the likes of PES defense system, then I can safely transition from PES to fifa
I’ve been trying to find a really slow version and I’ve made adjustments to these myself and it’s still not as slow as I’d want it I think it’s just not possible. I’ve even got marking on 90 each and shot error on 75 each and goalies on 75 each pass speed slower still can’t get it slow enough haha too easy to get in behind even on ultimate.

Love the sliders but having played half of my career mode I’m going to make a change. Manual shooting is VERY difficult, and semi assist is too easy to score, especially when playing with broadcast camera. Therefore, I’m goin to try 55 shot error. Will update once I’ve tried a few games.

Sorry just seen comments. Much better, games seem a lot fairer and realistic. However, I’ve gone back to PES21 with manual shooting lol!! Fifa just doesn’t do it for me as there’s no variety in opposition, therefore rendering tactical changes irrelevant.
Is there a problem or solution with settings never saving and i frustratingly have to set them all over again each time

my sliders are all pretty much the same but I had to put shot error for CPU on 92-96. depending on the opponent. and marking and goalkeeper for USER on 100. its more realistic in my opinion. if the opponent gets 8 shots, 4 of those might be off target. not ridiculously off target. just next to the goal or over the goal.
I hate seeing a lot of goals. if Im playing with Real against City and the game ends 4-3 thats fine. if Im playing with Real against Getafe and it ends in 4-3 or 5-4 its ridiculous.
I agree man I've had my slider settings on gk at 100 for years now and marking up to 65
Do you have problems with the number of subs? Some games I can sub 5 players,others 3 and others 4!

Is it me or is the game speed 2x? It is not realistic how quickly those players change from one state to another.
For me personally 50 acceleration is too high! I play 44 currently (work in progress) I don’t like the instant reaction of 50, and looks and feels unrealistic when jockeying

Hi Ricky. Tested those similar settings on ps4 and they seemed to work great. Manual is very difficult to master but gameplay wise it was more solid and velieve it or not it did feel less skatish than other settings. I need a lot more practise but at least its keeping me occupied while konami sort out efootball. Thanks for the great vids.

I playing FIFA 23 against AI
When I using "WORLD CLASS AI" My player shot alone. I just need to click circle and they power and directed is automatic. (to easy and not fun)
But when I use "professional" Its not like that. I can choose the power and the directed.
How do I change it?
A true football and pes fan can never enjoy fifa's gameplay. The players lack of gravity and skating on the pitch, no matter the adjustments and settings you'll apply it is not even close to playable!
I was in this camp. But with the right sliders (TTB’s sliders make it too slow and sorry to say, a bit boring), I should say I’m enjoying FIFA 23. In fact, it was so addictive with that ‘one more match’ feeling and then the title update 2 made a mess of all my sliders. And now, I’m in the process finding the right balance. Once I find it, I think I’ll continue enjoying FIFA.
All said, the moment eFootball 2023 introduces all teams in kick off mode, both day and night games and also the edit mode, I guess I’ll leave FIFA. Won’t be a hard decision that one 😊
@@littlebluecubes It is great that you find the game enjoyable mate. One thing I will always credit fifa is the game presentation; the atmosphere, graphics and the licences but the problem always comes in when the kick off whistle blows, a total let down, the crazy score lines when playing online and even offline with friends, the insane ping pong passing and funny player animations with accurate comedy U- turn passes, feeling like you're playing with an inflated balloon 🎈 and not a soccer ball ⚽.
Sorry if I sound so dismissive of fifa mate but to me gameplay is the basic factor I enjoy in a football game. I will keep playing pes 21, for the sake of my sanity and respect I have for football until efootball makes the improvements we are all expecting from them. Till then pes 21 is pretty much the most decent football simulation game the world has right now.

I’m also a big PES 21 fan and I’ll look forward to when eFootball finally release a Master League/Career to play.
But FIFA 23 on new gen is actually very good. With the right sliders it’s like a perfect balance of PES gameplay with FIFA presentation, atmosphere and authenticity. It’s smooth and addictive gameplay.
That being said it’s ridiculous you have to tweak the game to make it playable, but when you do get it right it really is a great Football simulator this year.

First time trying this years fifa well I must be rubbish because I play offline and played on professional setting with 4 min half and was geting beat 1.0nils consecutive

Hey, I have an issue and hopefully someone can help..... If i bring my sprint speed and Acceleration below 50 (literally if i put it to 49) then on defence my players refuse to run. It was driving me crazy as to why this was happening but I found out why. please say there is a fix for this?

Ricky don't use jockey, use only your analog, because the jockey can be too slow and sometimes it makes you lurch forward too much
It is good. But the Shot Error is not good. Players miss way to often.

Is It everybody playin on leggendary with those sliders? Because I was already struggling with Parma in World Class i managed to get promoted but i missed Twice the euro league spot lol. I dont know After 2/3 seasons all teams are completely changed with super bugged players who score at First try ... Soo unrealistic. Lot of players retiring...Thinking about starting a rise up with wrexham from f league 2 but by the time im in premier messi Ronaldo and most of todays Champions Will be retired...but, this sliders helped my gameplay now max 2/3 goals per match... Previously most of mathes went 2-3 or even 3-4 so dumb

Idk man eFootball online is really playable right now, getting some very competitive and entertaining matches, it's certainly more fun at the moment than trying to make the AI not be stupid or weird in FIFA.
After trying every settings possible i think world classe with slow paced is most realistic at least cpu stop doing stupid moves and skating stuff
If its getting boring try out spoonys sliders theyre awesome and you make process cause its only 3 minutes halfs

I thought I'm the only one who noticed this. In fifa 19, the players move on the ground realistically not ice skating. The same with fifa 18, the foot planting look more true. . These recent fifas are just disappointing.

Yes it's hard to play real football if you have like 4 minutes half time you almost can't score. So you are right.
Yeah I don't get it either. Real simulation football game need to be played 45 minutes half time, and we rarely play that way. So faster gameplay is more make sense.
