It seems like a lifetime ago I was an angsty 14 year old kid going to the library to watch music videos on Yahoo Music. This was always one of my favorites. Simpler times for sure.
This may be one of the most underrated rock songs ever written, IMO. It’s a shame that this song was not a bigger hit than it was, because it’s so good!
they were okay, but really if you want the audience to remember you, you gotta come up with something a little more creative than this song. though i wouldnt argue that this song is somehow okay, its just not a great song that's all
I know bruh just came across the Ghost video...dude is such a great fuckin singer....and he still sounds amazing....not like those idiot 80s band sounding like shit now a days...and this guy still got especially after having throat cancer pretty fuckin impressive....👍
This song provides those BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER, BLADE, and UNDERWORLD type vibes . This band making music for movies like them would make TOTAL SENSE . 😤😤😤😤
One of my favorite bands of all time. Don't remember how I found them but I'm super glad they came back together and put out a proper Stabbing Westward album again. Sure it's a bit odd for 50 year old dudes to be singing emo breakup songs again but I'm here for it.
I remember living In Cincinnati in the Summer of 2001 and walking through Targets music section and seeing So Far Away playing throughout that area of the store on all the TV’s. Was so cool to see.
This band helped me through so many tough times in my younger years.. So thankful for this band... They kept me together while trying to figure myself out.. They will alway be forever in my top 10 bands of all time.. Much Love ❤
How has this comment not gotten any likes so far? You made me laugh out loud because I was just wondering where I have seen someone looking so similar to the singer. 😅
Sounds good. When i first heard this song it reminded me cure it looks like in the middle of the song.this band has his own style his sound. All band members are cool musicians. 🙂
Lydia Love - I never thought about that before, but it’s so true. I could play just about every Stabbing Westward album (their first three albums, anyhow) from beginning to end without feeling the need to skip a song.👍 #ungod #witherblisterburnandpeel #darkestdays
There's an interesting interview with Chris that addresses that. Basically, the producer took over and even went as far as locking Chris out of the studio so they could go the guitars to sound calmer and less aggressive.

@@eddiecmusic If that's the case, I want to kick that producer's ass! Love this band, but this album was a disappointment to me. Should've called it Softie Westward.
They were always going to struggle to follow up Darkest Days, in my opinion one of the most well crafted albums of all time. This track was a stand out on what was probably a slightly disappointing release for Stabbing Westward fans
Couldn’t agree more. And this song is actually pretty damn good because it’s a perfect marriage of classic SW and them trying to do something a little different and more accessible. The rest of the album is indeed disappointing if you were looking for more of the classic SW you loved, which is what I was looking for.
I read the lyrics of this song to my boyfriend of 2 1/2 years said it reminded me of him. He started crying, he said I called him out, and he hates that he agrees. :(
@ Yup, they released a 3 Song EP with 2 bonus songs called "Dead and Gone" a few months ago. It's awesome. They are now working on a new record called "Wasteland" set for the end of 2020 hopefully and with their original record Producer too.
The 2001 self-titled album was troubled from the start for many many reasons that even the lead singer (Chris Hall) admits but I got a good feeling. Would love to finally catch them on tour!

@@puffinman1138 Okay, thanks for the info! Would love to see them too. Let's just hope the new album doesn't have any sappy ballads on it! Will check out the EP too.
Best song on that entire album. I remember being throughly disappointed with it being such a huge fan of the previous 3 albums. This song slaps though. It’s the only one on the album that feels like SW and a natural progression where the rest of the album tried too hard to distance itself from what they are.
0:01 to 0:06 It staggers me how she can say something so horrifying in such a sexy way. If she'd say that to me like that, I wouldn't know if I should apologize or get naked. Maybe both.
I was wondering the same thing. When I searched online previously it said her name is Tasha and apparently is (or was) an adult film actress. But her last name isn’t anywhere that I can find.
I got divorced 20 years ago and I've never been able to trust enough to be in another relationship. This song came out right after I got divorced from that lunatic. It haunts me to this day. I cannot ever trust again. She ruined me...
This is a great song on a not so great album. I almost felt tricked when I bought it years ago based on this single. The rest is nothing like this song.
i know of 4 people now that have said this song reminds them if me. so i have a deep love for this song cause it means im untouchable. or im protected, or im a complete bitch. either way this is the greatest song ever! to all those ive loved and lost and that loved me and lost me, just remember, we had eachother and even though it fell apart we always have the good memories!

I like this song but I thought the rest of the album was a massive disappointment considering how great the two previous albums were.
I know exactly what you mean, this is the only stabbing westward song that gives me chills

Their BIGGEST & BEST song ever and it's a shame it doesn't even have 100K views
But I AM HERE FOR IT, STILL, IN 2021
Great song and all but it's not their biggest or best by far.

2023, Māori girl from NZ and still listening to this song!
Going to see them in concert next month USA
Why isn't this on Spotify *shakes fist*
Why isn't Living In The So-Called Space Age on Spotify? That album is by God Lives Underwater and they toured with Stabbing Westward.
It was for a while, then later removed for some reason.
@Hail SATAN bc of things like that I am very tempted to do so. Tbh I have most of my shit on an old harddrive still
What's a Spotify, it's on iheart

The nostalgia this song brings is unreplaceable
Why is this song not on Spotify?
I don't think the band cares much for the album, which is why they don't promote it on Spotify.

What? New music? Point me please.
Such a great song and hardly noone knows about it.
That bass! And those hooks. What a great song. Possibly their best.

My favorite all time Stabbing Westward song.
Omg fucking same.
Me too. Takes me back to the early 2000’s. I also like “ I remember “

So glad they are back after so long

Found this song through Aussie50's playlist. And boy am I glad I did
Went to a Depeche Mode concert and left a Stabbing Westward fan!
I wish I saw them live as well🥺I was also at Depeche Mode concert but they had different support band😅
Great song by a great band
The song and band info popping up on the bottom left corner hit hard. That’s was music tv.
Does anyone know why this particular album isn't available to stream?

Some were crying "sell out" because this album was way more "Alternative" than "Industrial". But it's still a great album.

They were never industrial (edit: well their first album isn't but the second one is)
@BusinessZeus Nah. Opposite. First album, Ungod, is more industrial than their second album.
This should have made it on the Vampire - The Masquerade: Bloodlines OST.
You should have been an idiot.

Nice to hear someone put some metal in their music
