Very helpful but a lot of waffle. Only wanted to know how to bind the thermostat to the receiver. 12minutes and 32 secs into video you finally showed it. Bravo
Problems: 1. Thermostat has no model no T3 or T3R. No wires so it must be a T3R 2. Got nagged after the wife returned and found it wasn't working properly. On examination it seemed the temperature displayed was climbing to meet the required temp without the boiler turning on 3. Did a power off and battery change plus a factory reset. And then went to rebind to find the receiver was turned off - and it was a different model with no reset hole. After rebinding with the receiver button pushed ON it bound 4. Tested with a heat demand. The receiver had turned off again but was actuated by the demand - strange 5. All seems to be working except the demand flame symbol. Is there another cure needs to be effected? The supplied 'manual' had none of this reset detail
My landlord just replaced the old one with T3R honeywell receiver and thermostat. Both lights on the receiver flash every few hours after re-binding… do you what is the problem? Thanks
Hi Mark, Great video. I am having ongoing problems with the thermostat unit going off and then flashing to set the date and time on my T3R (wireless). It seems the batteries are not very well set in the case very well and it loses connection, so for example that the wall on which it sits is bumped or even some vibrations from the the road outside. This happens with brand new batteries and has nothing to do with how well charged they are. The batteries do not sit smugly in the case and never have. Do you know of anyway of ensuring that the batteries make a good consistent connection in the case. It has been really bugging me as it goes off without us knowing. If it is cold in the house it seems to make the problem worse. At the moment I have put some cotton material as padding into the compartment to keep the batteries from moving around and thus not making good contact, but surely there is a better solution.
Having exactly the same problem. I was shocked to see how loosely the batteries fit in the channel. It's driving me crazy. I also have no idea how the T3 unit I have seemingly has the same issue as you, considering mine is wired in directly.
Hi … can you please answer my question I want to relocate my radiator which needs extending pipe.. For this I believe I need to stop the water coming to the radiator… Please let me know which valve in the boiler should I turn off to do this??? Thank you in advance for your help

Hi, did all the factory reset. When it came to binding. Holding the two buttons for 3 seconds, nothing happens. Help!!

Really need to stop waffling, I had to start the process twice because of all the waffling as the receiver kept dropping out of pair mode.
