Connor was a strong character mostly because he lost nearly everything but still kept fighting
Archergames by far my favorite assassin. That whole family will flip the fuck out. Hatchet in the post (declaration of war) is one of my favorite moments in gaming

i understand it but the game gets repetitive. origin has variety in side missions which add lots of info to lore and history. ac side missions are too samey and repetitive and dont add a lot to the story...
I like connor. He's actually my favorite assassin idk why people hate him so much. I think Connor would be more loved if we saw more of him and see how his life goes after ac3.

Connor was (and is) honestly my favorite character.
I loved him as a character just for the fact he was so pure and only wanted people to be free and safe
After playing rogue, it crazy to see what achilles had of a brotherhood to what we see when we first meet him in AC3

Despite the popular distaste for Connor and love for Ezio, he is actually one of my favorite, if not, my favorite assassin. Mostly because of his background, personality and his innocence tied to his urge to do good for everyone. We get to see key moments of his life, even before he was born. The game was a little bit clunky to say the least, but the story was great. AC 3 main theme is also my favorite AC song and the best of the franchise imo.
Connor is a character that has a lot of depth below the surface, but a lot of people are either too stupid or lazy to do some thinking.
I like Connor. His my 2nd right beside his granddad Edward. Connor feels like AC's Wolverine.
Maybe it's just me, but I personally liked Connor's character. I come from a different cultural background, so maybe that's why. His lack of emotion that some people condemn is a bit surprising to me. I think by giving each respective assassin the proper attention, there's more to understand and love about the character. For me, that specific character I was drawn to is Connor. It wasn't his fighting style that caught my eye, but his demeanor and personality. The way he carried himself in order to uphold the creed even through the devastating loss of his mother and later on, his people.

Antisocial? I thought he was the most social guy in terms of kindness etc. He was such a humble and kind guy, but in combat, he had this intense rage and violence that he let out. That was awesome. He had this duality in him that I really enjoyed. But I agree, AC3 was really "slow" most of the time.
Connor to me is the most understanding and humble assassin in the series. Not to mention the deadliest. He's my favorite, Ezio is very overrated to me. Connor is unlike others, but Ezio and Edward can be related to other characters.
I like Connor. He's in some way an asshole, but I can understand him and he's well written and Ezio and Haytham are assholes too, just in another way.
Connor is for me the best introduced character in a AC game and his wild fighting style is awesome!
I like to have missions with his younger self and I like to have these many missions with Haytham to really understand what his father is like. That's really important, because they are enemies later. Haytham comes a little too short in the game, but the book adds the missing pieces.
Most "reviewer" criticized the long "prolog", but I don't see that as the prolog, because these missions are great and for me it's part of the main game and the prolog is finished after the ship docks. After that happens much!

His naivety is part of his character though. Connor goes through an arc throughout the years in the game. He begins believing that there is only good and evil, but by the time Washington "betrays" him, he starts to see the gray moral areas that permeate the Revolution. By the end of the game, he feels as if everything he fought for was for nothing, as his people were forced from their village and he couldn't protect them. However, Connor still fights believing he can make a difference.
It was one of the highly debated topics here at Eligible Monster. Resident Evil was very easy to do as there is a actual timeline to follow along to. But the issue with Assassin;'s Creed is that there is a release schedule, but honestly Ezio's story stretches over 3 games and is a self contained story. So we felt it would be better to tell everyone's individual story. Though we are thinking of going game for game based on the collectors edition complete listing.
Connor was a good character i just didn't like how serious he had to be.

Connor Kenway is my Assassin, he developed a lot more than most Assassin's and the son of a bitch was near impossible to kill. seriously, that motherfucker just wouldn't die even being impaled, shot and so on. A true Assassin and my favorite character of the franchise

Oh it wasn't the crystal ball that Connor's village was protecting it was the sacred site which was the cave that led into the first civilisation vault or temple.
Everyone talks about how Connor is their fav because he's just badass. I love him because he embodies the Native American spirit, wild and ruthless, yet honorable and just. I might have a bias because I am Ojibwe, but idk he is my hero and I wanna see more of either Connor or people like Connor, a good representation of native americans.

if i were to see a fight between connor and ezio i wouldnt not know who could win.they were both masters at combat and connor was born a hunter push himself to his limit n the powers he possed. and ezio dedicated his whole life to combat he didnt have any power but his agility n combat n speed made him a superhuman.anyway this fight would be epic.

Connor wasn't bad, he just wasn't perfect. A 4 year old's mother dies in a burning house in front of him so I hope no one expected an upbeat, happy protagonist. Sure, Ezio watched his father and brothers die, but Ezio was older and more mature. He could handle it. Connor was just a kid. I also have no idea why people want the same damn protagonist for every game. Wouldn't that get boring?
