Well ubisoft, give Haytham his own game. He has enough potential star in his very own ac story. And a big fanbase i think.

He was old dude old people weren't that fast before so it is easy for guys to kill him

Haytham has great goals. He wants that everyone is equal, he wants peace and he wants to protect the natives. The templars at this time aren't evil bastards as templars from another time. All of Haythams following templars have the same goals I think, but Haytham is the one with the best heart, I guess. He's a little bit cold, but he's just consequent. The Assassin's are cold blooded killers too, but they deny it from time to time.
It's a shame that he didn't stay with Ziio and couldn't ally with his son. He tried, but Connor wouldn't listen, because of his confusion and the manipulation from Achilles. And that was probably the only time where Assassin's and Templars had a real chance to form an alliance. It probably would have provented many wars and the disaster. It's a real tragedy and the only way for Haytham at the end was to let him self get killed by his son.
***** If you would be clever you would know that Washington wasn't a good president and that the templar had good intentions. There is no black and white in this story. The Assassin's aren't these white knights. They kill good people, too. They did AC Rogue for those people who didn't get it before.
B P Tee hey pal, the assassins also wanted to steal the pieces of Eden (apparently to keep peace), Achilles was responsible for the deaths of thousands of people in Haiti and Lisbon, he didn't a shit upon realization of these disasters (BTW, look up knights Templar, you may realize these people want to help)
Haytham wasn't a bad person it's just his father never told him about the creed and when he died the Templar trained him the ways of the Templars witch basically canceled out the teachings of the creed witch Edward was teaching him by the time he realized that what he was doing is wrong it was too late he couldn't turn back it was sad really
he could have helped Connor or die trying
Templar's didnt trained him Assassin's did, if you see Haytham moves in AC3 it's same as other Assassin's.

he had a lot of good but if Edward didn't die he would have been great and then maybe roge never would have happened but so much wouldn't have happened so much would change I n ac unity and rogue but I don't like rogue

Haythem was an awesome character troubled yes but had the heart of a hero throughout the book and games "ac3 and ac rogue" and after reading the book i think it would be great to see a spin of version where u can actually play through the stories of the book. There was some pretty badass adventures in that book.

WATCHING THIS AFTER ALMOST A DECADE is GREAT. As someone who just finished playing AC4 and curious for the next scene to come. This video made me decided to come buy and play ac 3 lol.
He(Edward) wasn't that old. He was only like 42 years of age.

to be honest Haytham was one of those characters that had so much thrust upon him all at once but it came 2 b a shock to learn he was part of the knights templar

Though I don’t understand how Edward a full welish man named his son an Arabic name as far as I know he never been exposed to Arabic or Islamic culture.
I think that Haytham has more to him than "JUST" being the villain, taking into consideration that he revealed that Charles Lee had done far worse things (G Washington too), but hopefully we'll find out more in AC4, can't wait to get my hands on that!! XP

I believe haytham was a confused man who believed that through deals and such nothing good would come and there would be no peace, so he became a templar who believed the only way to peace, was violence. If he believed there was a way without so much violence, he would probably still be a good character.

Birch was with Haytham since very young age, when Haytham was 10 he was already very smart and ambitious kid so Birch saw a great opportunity in him and then adopted him after Edward died.

Haytham was a badass, but my question is this: how in the hell does it go from hundreds of assassin's in Black flag, to old ass man in the colony's?
Cole Worthington rogue explains it, Shay Cormac, the templar you play as kills most of the assassin masters, leaving only Archillies left alive, and scare him from ever leaving his homestead and rebuild the brotherhood. Takes place between Black Flag and before connor was born.
But anyway haytham die in ac 3 so good😆😆😆😆😆😆
