      in the future before you paint on apoxie that is cured, you should add a small bit of superglue anywhere that it touches a really smoth surface as every once in a while it doesnt stick very well. like on an acrylic plate. just something ive learned while working with it.

      @@ArCher11-iq9coisn't that already productive? like building a gaming machine or customizing a pc seems productive to me (also playing rainbow flag games seems cool to me) - just like how you said anybody could stick panels to a pc, anybody can also start exercising just as easy :v)... but in reality both are just as productive and both have their own set of difficulties.
      so let's not downplay people's creative urge, because you might have your own and why not start that project that you've been wanting to do? that is all from me, hope you a great day ^^

    I think you should make a new glove with the pinkie finger. You already have the cyberpunk themed one, maybe you could do a medieval fantasy one. Maybe the finger could be like wood being held together with elven magic or something.

    • @RaegenNight1
      @RaegenNight1 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      I actually made a thumb out of wood. It doesn't hold up well if you use it on a regular basis. Metal is too heavy. Hard plastics, covered in silicone, are the best material.

    Tip for Apoxie Sculpt (if you didn't already know it) from someone who watches a lot of doll customisation videos: smoothing with wet fingers while it's still very soft makes it very smooth and shiny, then letting it get semi-cured before carving and shaping makes detail especially sharp

    • @OhPervyOne
      @OhPervyOne ปีที่แล้ว

      This is a neat tip.
      Would you then dry it with a fan or a hair-dryer or just leave it to set and sit... and just wait, because the extra time is worth it? Or how about a dehydrator or even a sun oven?
      I've been looking at getting a sun oven for off-grid cooking (and Summer heat), so when I see pottery videos I wonder if the sun oven could be used for faster drying of the clay and/or glaze before baking. In fact, I wonder if the sun oven could actually get hot enough to bake pottery, etc. (I don't know enough about pottery to even guess.)
      What's your opinion and what's your technique?

    I love all of your stuff, but this one feels a bit incomplete when you look at it straight on, like the dragon head is hanging in front of the fans but there is no indicator of a body or possibly a whole dragon coming from the system... maybe a painting on the plexi that the head is attached to so that there is a bit of perspective? or possibly an infinity box type thing between the dragon and the fans? The case and the sculpts are 100% amazing, I also love the warm white and the way the lava came out! I'm a freak for RGB in builds (not PC as much though) and I think it came out great. **Side Note:** A 6' long full dragon build, that's animatronic/robotic, & that you could walk on a leash... w/ this kind of detail... you would OWN ComicCon.

    About the "something about it just screams bird", It's the jaw. With reptiles, the lower jaw is usually smaller than the top jaw. Birds tend to have similar jaw sizes. To make it more reptilian and more dragon like, make the bottom jaw fit inside the top jaw like how human teeth fit (slight overbite is perfect). That being said, I loved this build. I always love watching your channel and whenever work isn't too hectic, I like to watch your videos and live vicariously through you and your projects haha.

I like to use different types of animals in combination when designing a dragon, scales, skeletal structure, musculature and wings (alligator, cat/lizard/horse, hose/cat and bat) and then a bit of wolf throne in to break the "bird look". U are the most creative person I have ever seen. Creative in all the right ways.
    That dragon was a true piece of art. Sticking it out a bit more and covering the fans somehow would make it a lot more pleasing.
    It's only my opinion tho. What a great job nonetheless

    Would have been cool to have the dragon side be the exhaust so he “breathes” out the hot air

      1 Corinthians 15:3-8 ESV
      For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles. Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me.

    What an awesome build! I LOVE the sculpt and the LED lava, sooo good!
    Apoxie Sculpt is amazing! I’ve used it a few times, and the only drawback so far is the smell while you mix it! I love the finish achieved with the dragon’s scales and the rocks, it’s so impressive.

    It were great to see all what you've done in all those years together, so mean your studio how it is related to the dragonwall and to you 3 in 1 room and so on....

    Absolutely amazing sculpting skills. Immediately after the clip that you said the dragon looks like a bird, it totally transformed into a dragon and I was like "she's got this." Beautiful work as always!
    Edit: I hope you restock your Skjera Bagera Hoodie someday! I really want one and I love your style!

    a 4090 to run a 3d background? I'm so jealous! 😅 Looks incredible Martina, well done again!

      The moment you see a 4090 is used to run a 3d background, you realize the person is rich.

      @@ArthurIdrisov Martina mentioned that they were given the parts. I wonder if they'd swap for my 2080ti 🤔

    • @ArthurIdrisov
      @ArthurIdrisov ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Zoso14892 yeah, they were given, but if you use something quite expensive as a background runner it implies that you have something similar in your gaming rig. And let's face it, an active popular youtuber with more than 2 and a half million subscribers definitely makes a lot of money.

      @ArthurIdrisov I'd imagine they earn a decent amount, yeah. I've been following them since they only had a few thousand subs, though, and can definitely say they work for it. Also, if I remember correctly, their main computer was supplied as sponsored content, too 😆
