Pinning a post about thermals, as there are so many engaged commenters. The airflow is unobstructed, but if it becomes a problem we'll just pop it off. This is just attached to the faceplates, it can be swapped out at any moment :) Maybe don't do the same thing unless you don't know what you're doing. Insulating your PS5 is not recommended.

@@juriaan13and why is PlayStation "eww" ? As a owner of both PS4 and Xbox s, they really feel the same, but Xbox has more indie games. Only difference. Please show your work. I'm sure that your teacher tells you that all the time.
Once again a really neat idea. The cooling lava with the black crackle patches looks fantastic. I like the main lava flow, but to my mind it's too yellow, I would think a more orange look would fit lava better. One thing I wonder about is why the lava is not programmed to appear like it's flowing. Not much of a programmer but if there are a lot of LEDs in there and they are addressable, perhaps a randomizing sub routine could be incorporated into the Arduino program? All in all, it's awesome!
I know they said lava but to me it (and possibly inspired by the dwarves from Tolkein) looks like molten metal rather than molten rock; molten metal (steel/iron) goes to a white-yellow especially when poured like in this build, to then be used for casting - if you want to see; alec steele went to an ironworks recently and filmed it; it shows iron being forged into hot rolled steel and does look a LOT like the 'lava' flowing in this dwarven build. (not sponsored, just a fan)
I love seeing you use tools and techniques that I know I'll never use myself. It's a way of seeing magic done. The foam in the laser cutter (if that's what that is) was especially fascinating in this video. Plus the several steps needed to make the translucent lava. That one is actually something I would love to try someday, if I get the opportunity!
the lava plates placed near the doors are so realistic! I would have gone bonkers if the lavafall also resembled the same. but you did a great job. it looks amazing
I love that the men of the internet came out and all said the same thing regarding heat dissipation and cooling. So much so that she pinned a response to it.
I love it! You asked what we'd like to see next? I'd like to see you customize desks for fantasy/science-fiction writers, looking like the stories leaked out and infused the desk with curious details and secrets. If you wish, you could then auction them off for the charity of your choice at the world science fiction convention.
It came out amazing, I just hope you left the air holes so that thing can breath. From the mold it looked like you covered the holes up but it may be the way the camera makes it look, I’m sure you added the air holes . Great job the ps5 looks absolutely stunning.
Yeah that worried me too.. She didnt mention airflow at all, I think this thing will have major overheating issues, but i mean its encased in lava so it only makes sense xD
I think Martina and Hansi are having a lot of fun decorating every day normal stuff... and I love it. Can't wait until they start tackling huge things like their fridge. Wait... A new ad that I haven't heard of before? 👀
thats great, when she asked what she should do next, I looked at my fridge 🤣. im waiting for them to turn their whole house into a castle or something.
Do something like this with a water-cooled PC, and route the water to a small recirculating waterfall on the outside. Could add some of those plastic ice cubes for extra cooling

Refering to your question at the end: What about a book with a glowing removable dagger on the front and back covers? And have the book light up too. With the daggers on, the book glows but the daggers remain off. Take the daggers off, the book stops glowing. Daggers turn on. That way a mage can read but defend themselves as necessary. Also looks like you cast a spell and pulled them from a portal in your book. Perhaps using those resein daggers you made. That way two or one of the props is already made and it increases its usability. *The only thing I would be worried about is a fire hazard because of books and paper.
fun fact, if you add heavy body black paint to plain mod podge, it goes on grey and dries black. white mod podge is usually more avalable in larger quantities and usually a little cheaper, plus you dont have to mix ALL of it so you can make multiple colored base coats for various projects

They cost roughly at least 3 times as much as the console itself, so not an enormous market, no. They're very niche, although the people who make them (on commission) are usually very talented.
Love how this turned out, really epic-like! For your next project, could you try to recreate a scene from a movie you like? I think you decor looks on simple items is just beyond insane and super fantastic!
Your filming always seems to level up and truly encapsulates your concept to "make stuff with stories" and I'm here for it! So many enchanting shots along with the usual fun of watching magic unfold in a time lapse 🔥🔥🔥

This looks freakin awesome. You have out done yourselves once again. There is one thing that I'm slightly concerned about is getting the hot air out. I'm sure you took this into account when making this but if the PlayStation starts to slow down or freeze during gameplay there might be an issue with the heat not getting out of the side pop collar vent spaces. I'm pretty sure it's ok but just keep an eye on it.

I had the same thought. I wonder is there’s space to vent the heat that wasn’t mentioned.

I watched your video where you made your little finger. And now I'm hooked. Been binge watching all day. Love what you do and you are delightful. Creative, beautiful and fun to watch. Keep up the great videos and thank you.
So, just curious, if the bents are covered, how it breathe? Or just blow up? Also, a couple painted orange streaks might make the lava a bit more realistic... looks super pretty, and cool!
The vents on the back aren't blacked, but I also wondered about the big van vent on the side. It would have been smart to make those large doors open so that vent would still he able to draw in the air it needs
1:41 ...and remember kids, if you're gonna use knives or something hot, always cut away from yourself. No seriously don't do it I managed to cut my hand open and have surgery it fuckin sucked
I love this! Now hear me out, the next big project could be something to hold all of it in front of the TV to hide the cords and bring it all together. Also, having whatever it is wrapped around the TV as well.
Looks like someone enjoyed seeing the dwarven kingdom in Rings of Power😁 It came out amazing, I love how you added the hints of color where the lava would be casting light, and I’ve never seen anyone do that crackling lava top effect before. Sweet. I saw this cool art piece on Pinterest where someone had this giant, oversized, fantasy looking book and they sculpted a scene from the story (literally from the pages) of a ship about to be capsized by these massive resin waves, that I would love to see you attempt.

Haha discovering fire to this really gave me an overwhelming feeling of perspective. That’s wild AF
@Mansory811 They had higher G and humanity is currently experiencing a reverse flynn effect where people are actually getting dumber and viewing Gen Alpha that's only accelerating.
This is amazing. Great artwork. For anyone wanting to try to do something like this tho I would find a way to sneak some external little fans to help keep the system a little cooler.
Man, I am SO glad my TH-cam homepage recommended this video for me! Usually I speed up videos to watch, but this one I didn't and I was hooked right from the beginning to the end! Keep making great content! The world needs more artists, and I love that I found more artists to engage with!
That’s crazy because I am the exact opposite. Absolutely pissed that you tube recommended this absolute waste of time.
Crazy impressive. The lava sounds at the end is a marvelous touch.
Love it!! My only concern with the PS5 would be venting/cooling. It looks like the lava flow is blocking the intake vents.
I thought so, too. And with the foam maybe isolating aswell.
@@SuccubusSelene On the sides around the head there is a gap through which air also passes
My only concern was that it's a actual ps5..cuz Playstation..eewww lol
@@juriaan13and why is PlayStation "eww" ? As a owner of both PS4 and Xbox s, they really feel the same, but Xbox has more indie games. Only difference. Please show your work. I'm sure that your teacher tells you that all the time.

This is unbelievably cool! And the dwarf guards look incredible!
This woman just blows my mind with every video, love her enthusiasm and creative energy ❤
@@MaxRide1 Molten metal would work. Dwarves do a lot of forging of weapons and what not.
It looks great. I am always amazed at how talented and skilled you are
I love how it just looks so good on camera that my brain still thinks the lava's moving just beneath the surface
This turned out great. My favourite part is honestly the "pre-baked" light effects on the statues
the ammount of work she puts into her videos are so far above any other channel i watch. amazing work!
I love it! You asked what we'd like to see next? I'd like to see you customize desks for fantasy/science-fiction writers, looking like the stories leaked out and infused the desk with curious details and secrets. If you wish, you could then auction them off for the charity of your choice at the world science fiction convention.
Great idea! 😃
@@ItsArzee even if the air holes are open is still basically has a jacket thermals wil be bad but it is amazing looking
Definitely need to have you guys make more of Dwarven things. I love Dwarves, and their culture... let alone Lone Mountain and Durins!
How long does one video like this take to make from start to finish? These videos are getting to a professional level of quality and you may as well have your own tv show. Keep it up you two!
with it being 18m and it take her so long to get the fake leds to work am sure it take over 5days

I’d say this video-took a while(She also admitted to waiting months for the PlayStation before hand) and even under a time crunch she has to think of the video idea after this video is out and work on that possibly in the same time frame so it can be released on schedule!

I literally just watched you make it and I still can't wrap my head around how you pulled this off... incredible!
fun fact, if you add heavy body black paint to plain mod podge, it goes on grey and dries black. white mod podge is usually more avalable in larger quantities and usually a little cheaper, plus you dont have to mix ALL of it so you can make multiple colored base coats for various projects
@@bobdarker519 martina literally used black mod podge here....

I woudl definitly build in extra fans if i would ever do such a project. It looks amazing!!!! Hope your airflow is still okay
been watching for 3 weeks and your art work is soo cool especially on the pcs and consoles, so now i have subscribed that is how cool it has blown me away
I always wonder what effect does it have on cooling. But it looks awesome ^^
Same here!
We always make sure to leave the air vents open, so probably not much!
Where do you think the Lava is coming from ? :)
@@Nerdforge There are vents all around the top and bottom side (under Lava) and the bottom of the console - hence it comes with a stand - as this is where the cool Air is sucked in - the rear is Just Exhaust to get rid of warm air - so you have blocked the cool air intakes or at least restricted them...
Real nice now make your ps5 controller de same

Yeah bro I was watching this very nervous
Lava flow was the phase you were looking for...loved this project!
I found this channel a few years ago when I was looking for some videos on book binding. Nerdforge has just gotten better and better and I'm happy to say I'm still a subscriber and I look forward to every upload! Thanks for many years of great content!
Greetings from a fan in Canada.
@Craig H, seconded by another fan from Canada!
I love your builds. They always put a smile on my face and i was wondering how would i get into doing things like this. Obviously not as beautiful and amazing but i would love to start making builds like you guys do
This makes me think that there must be a huge market out there for 3d console skins. I know I would save up for one.
They cost roughly at least 3 times as much as the console itself, so not an enormous market, no. They're very niche, although the people who make them (on commission) are usually very talented.
The only thing...venting....did you not cover much venting? Did you add a bottom fan or ability for air flow?
Love how this turned out, really epic-like! For your next project, could you try to recreate a scene from a movie you like? I think you decor looks on simple items is just beyond insane and super fantastic!
Работы Мартины восхищают все больше!!! А дальше наверное большой экран TV подвергнется декору))) Успехов всей команде и творческого вдохновения!!

Your filming always seems to level up and truly encapsulates your concept to "make stuff with stories" and I'm here for it! So many enchanting shots along with the usual fun of watching magic unfold in a time lapse 🔥🔥🔥
The channels name is so good, nerdforge. Just watching this makes me wanna be a nerd. Except I am really lazy, so i'll just keep watching. You are awesome
I know it you made it into Lord of the Rings but to me, it really gave me fun memory flashbacks of the Dwarven Kingdom Ironforge from WoW Days back in the day. You did absolutely amazing and i wish this wasn't so difficult because that Ps5 is 1000000 x better than just a normal one.
Really good work! Love your staff. Just one criticism you should paint the big lava just as the small ones. Those are soooo cool! :)
I love it that you put a clock in view. Gives us something of a realistic expectation about how long it takes to create something like this. Of course I also love your fabrications and the videos!
Fantastic as always! Just when I think that I have seen the best of the best, you surprise me with even more, this is giving me serious Dragon Age vibes and I am here for it! Love it!
This is something different, the imagination you guys have is more superior than I have ever seen. Loving to watch your videos, keep going please
Gotta appreciate the amount of work that was put onto this! Well done!

İ thought about this too. İ think it just overheats
Martina said in a comment that the airflow is unobstructed.
I have to literally hang mine in front of the AC to keep it running, my guess is she doesn't use it much.
@@mohamadjaddo3968my guess is she never ever used it and farmed everyone for views.
YES! A completed scene!
i am scared about the heating issues, stay strong ps5
Looks like someone enjoyed seeing the dwarven kingdom in Rings of Power😁 It came out amazing, I love how you added the hints of color where the lava would be casting light, and I’ve never seen anyone do that crackling lava top effect before. Sweet. I saw this cool art piece on Pinterest where someone had this giant, oversized, fantasy looking book and they sculpted a scene from the story (literally from the pages) of a ship about to be capsized by these massive resin waves, that I would love to see you attempt.
It's crazy how creative you are! Even if I had the idea I would never implement it! Also I am crazy early!!
