From what I remember in the show's story Betrayus was the Mayor's brother when he was alive, and was the one who started the Pac World War. Also he helped an alien species commit mass genocide on yellow Pac-People because they're the only ones who can eat ghosts or something, it was weird

Not gonna lie, they cut the show off right as the plot was actually about to get better. The whole "the parents might not ACTUALLY be dead" and the whole new romantic interest would've sparked the show if it had been done correctly.

The show is actually a really good concept with voice acting that I really liked. My biggest issue was what the main ghosts were reduced to and the main villain was a really cool design but was just too cowardly.
There is much more to say but i am not going to cus im lazy
Also i love this show remembered things, like if a really obscure plotline happened 10 eps ago they would reference it, and it had a good sense of logic. I wish that other shows followed this.
I think the ghosts being allies with Pac-Man could’ve worked if done right, and I liked how just like you said it remembered things. Everything else though is pretty bad.

Fun Fact: Sakurai has stated that when he added Pac-Man in Smash Bros he wanted to use the old Pac World design over the Ghostly Adventure one at all costs, even threatening Namco that he would have cut Pac-Man from the game if he couldn't use that design.

Dude I genuinely enjoyed this show, apart from where it gets pretty cringe of course. I really wanted to see how this show would’ve properly concluded it’s story. Just for the heck of it really, I sat down to watch PAC-MAN and his Ghostly adventures and for the most part I was pretty satisfied with what I got.

Sir Friendship Even if it wasn’t canon, remember that Pacster is a DESCENDANT of his parents, Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man, and he is the last of his kind. In this world, a Ms. Pac-Man would be impossible, so a ghost is better than nothing.
For the most part, I thought the show was decent. Definitely could have gone without the gross-out stuff. I'm okay with the slime, though. And honestly, the main thing that kept me going was the subplot regarding Pac-Man's parents. I was actually interested in that part of the story.
Did they ever finished that subplot or did it just concluded without an ending like so many animated shows?

You got your source wrong on this one. This voting was put after Ghostly Adventures design already existed. On this voting, choice D won and was used for game Pac-Man Monsters - a mobile RPG with puzzle elements that sadly had its servers shut down.

What's weird tome is that the design is basically the same as that pac man spin off game Pacman Party. The only differences of the top of my head, is that Pacman's shoes had orange accents, and that he had a much more cutsy still. Also, he had the traditional gloves, not the one with fingers. On a side note I actually liked the shoe redesign, they looked more natural.
One more thing, is that the Pacman world design was actually the original design of the character, that was one the Japanese arcade cabanets but they changed it when it was moved to the U.S

of course, it had it’s cringey moments but it also hit at times. honestly, betrayus and pac are probably some of my favourite characters. their dynamic just hits different and i love how their pure rivalry is sometimes interrupted by a reluctancy to work together in certain situations. having enemies use eachother’s skills to escape just opens the opportunities for comedic punchlines and timing.
also, the circle puns killed me when this show first released.

but seriously. i think this franchise has given me a love for retro items, especially games like the original pacman, just as sonic boom + the snapcube fandubs got me so deep into the sonic fandom that i don’t think i can resurface.
it’s shows like this that get younger people to appreciate the older media if they didn’t already. speaking of which, if pac-man party was released after pmatga, some references to characters exclusive to this show would’ve been amazing. instead of characters made just for the game (woofa, roger, patra, etc) it would’ve been cool to have betrayus as a playable character- hell, even cili or spiral !
to be honest tho, patra is probably the best looking out of all of the custom characters there. not being biased, but as a history nerd, i love the subtle reference to cleopatra in not just the name but the setting + story in her area. i think it was also a cool choice for her model to look like the sphinx. gotta give em props for that one :]

Same. Too bad it was cancelled and there would’ve been an opportunity for Pac to find his parents and we would’ve have more scenes of Elliptica (Spheros’s and Betrayus’s Niece/Pac’s Love Interest) if only the show ended with a good ending
