I honestly love this show. I am so disappointed that there was not a season 3. They left us with a huge cliffhanger and now we may never know if PAC finds his parents.
I'll never forgive Bandai Namco for leaving us on the biggest cliffhanger ever.
They pulled a "Ash Ketchum" on us

I mean as an adult it definitely was hit or miss but I feel like it deserved better
Betrayus had alot of potential as a villian, he could have been silly and threatening but they just made him into a one dimensional joke. And I hated his mother who practiced favoritism between her sons and you wonder why betrayus turned out the way he did. And pacman was a mary sue throughout the series, even when he'd eat up all the food from everyone,his friends never called him out for it

7:12 I have a theory that makes that possible, later in the episode the president reveals there was a prophecy about Pac-Man one day coming to protect the world from ghosts that was written centuries ago, maybe a game designer found out about this prophecy and thought “ey, I could make a video game out of this”

5:08 i think canonically, the pacman in the ghostly adventures is a descendent of pacman, the show kinda hints at it.
Except no, cause it makes no sense at all, unless in this universe there was a Pac-Man before, and like I guess he could be Pac-Man The third for all I care, but obviously has nothing to do with the mainline universe
Unpopular opinion: I kinda like the series and it's games
This show is the most fascinating mixed-bag I've ever seen. Like, in my opinion, the show is either really good or really bad. No in-between.
Also, there are some things the first episode establish that seems to just get retconned with the rest of the show. Like ghosts being involved in the war, which is never brought up again in later episodes, and there was even an episode where Pac & pals travel back in time to said war, and no ghosts were present. Heck, when they tell past Sir C about the future, he's *surprised* that Betrayus comes back as a ghost.
Also, the ghosts aren't actually dead... kinda? They were put into a machine that stripped them of their bodies, while said bodies were preserved and stored in a thing called "The Repository." I assume that the dead yellow ones aren't ghosts just because they moved on to a proper afterlife.
Also, Pac-Man and Pinky's "romance" in this canon (and the classic canon, for that matter) is a one-sided crush Pinky has on him. That said, this canon has Pac's feelings somewhat ambiguous, while in the classic canon... *he's married and has kids.*
Also as far as consistency goes with what you were saying in the beginning of the video, I feel like the series was in its most consistent state during the 2000s, with both classic-style maze games and spinoffs like Pac-Man World, with said spinoffs usually incorporating staples like dots, fruits, ghosts, and mazes. It seems Ghostly Adventures came to be after Namco got sued over the copyright to Ms. Pac-Man, which is why she hasn't really shown up since 2006.

I love this show back then as a kid, and I still love it as an adult. This show really holds up for me. And Pac-Man in this series is actually the descendant of the original Pac-Man. Pacster took the name Pac-Man as a form of reviving the mantle. Honestly I wished there was an episode where they time travel again and meet Pacster's ancestor.
To be honest, when I was younger I kinda liked the show, but now I see the many problems that it has, and why people consider it to be pretty mediocre.

Fun fact: in the Italian dub of this show, Betrayus is dubbed by the same person who voices Spongebob and Goku (from 2005 onwards)

yeah they retcon the death of the yellow ones at the end of the 1st season, having them instead held prisoner by an alien race called the pointy heads. Dont worry luckily you missed out on alot of fart jokes along the way, like 1 per episode.
Its revealed later in the show that Pacs parents are still alive and the other yellow ones were in a zoo on alien planet
Betrayus is just Zim he sounds almost identical
Okay I watch this this show on an Arabic channel and it was done and I can definitely say the adopt version was so much better I enjoyed this show it was chair for it was simple it was lovely I can definitely say it doesn't deserve the hate and the bad thing people say about it, and this show will always have a light place in my heart and in my childhood.
That does explain why the show ended on a cliffhanger.

I can only assume a Pac-Man heaven exists, it's just never acknoledged or unkwown if one even exists. But there could be one since the NetherWorld is basically Hell, but give it a more kid-friendly name and it's still Hell. Nonetheless, I loved this show, even though some people think differently

20:44 exactly! When I was younger and this show had just released idk I had to continue watching partly because of the plot but also because of how goofy it is. I can’t really put my finger on it but sth about it makes you want to keep watching
I blame the writers either watch dogs of Disney cameout and said too scary thus we got a Shredder and Lord Zedd effect where they nerfed betrayus. or it's that the writers didn't pay attention or bother to actually use writers notes.

I actually really liked this show as a kid and was watching this to see if it held up. This was mainly due to my parents being psychotic about time spent playing video games (10mins a day) so I would grasp onto anything close

I always just found Spiral and Celidgsdhdgd to be Copy Pasted versions of Knuckles and Amy so I couldn’t find myself to care.

@@YassineTorchani-dc2cm Sonic Boom had a rocky start with Sonic Boom Shattered Crystal and Rise of Lyric however it ended with at least one decent game(Sonic Boom Fire and Ice) and a TV show that was actually kinda good. Meanwhile Pac-Man and the Ghostly adventures had an interesting premise it felt rather boring to me and is very forgettable. It had 2 Games that were very ok, in my personal opinion, but I've only played the First one. But it doesn't mean that I hate Pac-Man, I just find Sonic Boom better. Pac-Man more consistent in quality and Sonic Boom's Quality was all over the place.
