i put my beardie in the tub since he’s shedding and the silence in my bathroom was killing us, he was just sitting like a statue or trying to get out so i found this video and now he’s swimming around, kicking the water and even pooped and i just gave him new water since he seems to be enjoying himself so much 😭

@@Vanaditz Almost any animal would not choose to fall asleep if they did not feel safe around someone.
Put a blue tooth speaker by their enclosure and let this play. Mine loves it. He hates being inside anyway and I think this helps some.

I just got my bearded dragon her 4x2x2 cage and we moved her cage back into my room after being in the dining room and I thought I would bring her out in my room to play and she was running laps 😂Than I turned this on and she is now asleep in the corner of my room. I feel bad that I will have to pick her up to put her back in her cage. ❤😂😢

Just his natural instincts kicking in. Maybe the first time he's heard such noises. Different beardies will all react differently.

Hi there. They are Locusts. He has them as a treat as they are pretty expensive in comparison to his usual bugs, which are Black Crickets. 😁👍🏻

You're welcome my Beardie Lady has a 110 gallon enclosure I got used fairly cheap. Not saying you can't have your Beardie in what looks like a 45 gallon but I think you should look into finding a larger enclosure. they'll have a better temperature gradient in a larger one and more space to move around.
When do I play the music and how do I know it relaxed him? The sound is really annoying sounds like loud whistles. My beardie has a bed time to where he falls asleep and when I play it he just him normal self.
Is that a UVB light? I was thinking of putting mine in the cage like that but was worried she would burn herself, has Diego ever gotten too close? If not, I might go ahead and try it!
I think you are supposed to have a UVB light. My mom says it can cause growth defects if you don’t have one. I have one in my beardies cage but it has like a enclosed space around it so that she doesn’t burn herself. Just a friendly tip! Hope this helps

If they've been bred in captivity and never heard the sounds of their natural homeland... How would they know to relax to it??
I am researching everything and everywhere, anything and everything on bearded dragons atm. Facebook was useless.. I didn't get a response in 6 weeks so not wasting anymore effort there. (I already breed Dendrabaena worms for 2 years) I control down to the milligram how much calcium my worms are fed. Fresh Melons, Cucumbers, milled rabbit pellets & maize... I've asked on FB but no reply so now I'm asking you? Would a Bearded Dragon eat my worms? To me it seems a good way to control the nutrients my potential dragons would eat... Or do you Bearded Dragon owner's all breed your own Cockroaches and Locusts??

Natural instinct is still in captive bread anything. I'm not saying this will relax him but im just saying there are plenty of things your dragon will do that are just instict. Just as brumating , some say captive shouldn't but some still hVe that natural instinct .even the fact your beatdie eats and basks that's all instinct .
I breed and feed mine but I also buy him other treats .Be careful researching because the community is split pm so many things and you're going to get different answers every time. Find a source you can trust and also what you feel is comfortable .
