Currently with the thermal paste for a couple of months at 4.1 Ghz it heats to 85 degrees and increasing without cooler boost I doubt the 32GB of ram will cause overheating. Try deactivating the processor turbo (the loss of performance is not very noticeable, and it runs cooler) I use ThrottleStop
My tuf 15 starts in 8 sec on battery and 6 sec on charging 😅❤

Friend got one, the metal is decent but it really is a fingerprint magnet. It crushes at da vinci though with the rtx 3050 an i5-11400H. When I used it, even on max brightness, I found myself having to clothes windows behind me in order to see properly

That's weirdly slow. Even my own Nitro V15 boots up in 2 seconds even with 8gb ram. Which honestly surprises me even still now on how fast it boots up.

There’s no CD ROM in newer model laptops. If you really want to access data from a CD you could buy separate extension.

This is a very nice piece of machine for the price. If it overheats the solution is simple. Put a fan on blast on it. Or get a cooling pad. That should do the trick.

yeah it does have another slot make sure you get the right ram type tho either 3200 or 2666mhz ddr4 they can also be a different brand from the original you already have in your laptop

It is ok as long as you don’t notice any fps drops or slow downs when doing normal tasks, boot up time is often relative.

i need to know how loud this laptop gets if you only use google and other school related stuff. and how is the battery on normal usage? ofc i'm going to game with this too but only at home so lots of noise during that doesn't matter for me
The reason we in the video sounds loud, is because I’m using a cooling pad, which louder than the laptop for sure, if you use it on the normal battery usage, I might not be as loud, but also of course not as fast as it would be when connected to power, I found myself forced to plug it from time to time as batteries on gaming laptops don’t last more than 4 hours in my case, so I recommend always having your charger closed, in other video you can see the boot up speed, which yes, it is quite slow, but don’t get fooled by that, laptop is pretty fast for everything that I have used it for, and haven’t have any issues at all.

It only has 1 single tiny fan and heat sink, basically overheating and short circuit waiting to happen. Watch the disassembly video of electronics before you buy it.

I really like it so far, it gets fairly loud. That won’t be a problem if you wear headphones. It looks nice and the gpu is good for the price. The cpu is a 9th gen so overall, it’s great for $600

No sé mucho del tema, pero tengo la misma laptop msi 16gb ram gtx 1650 e inicia rapido, alrededor de 10 y 15 segundos.
Si tienes la misma laptop y al prenderla tarda en iniciar, probablemente tienes instalado windows en el HDD, windows inicia mas rapido en el SSD.

@@Frexxom It's very fast but the primary SSD (NVMe) is only 256 GB needs to be replaced with more space because it has only one NMVMe slot or add SATA disk on the available slot. And also the cooler sometimes has an engine noise, but worth enough with the price given.

way way cheaper than 2000 dollars and gaming laptops have better uses than just for playing during class. If you shop smart you could realistically in some scenarios only have to pay 200 more dollars to match a desktop pc at that cost. Some of the additional uses of the portability is taking it different places in the house, using it in bed, using it in school, as previously mentioned, which is great if you have extended breaks, using it on vacation, taking it to the living room to use it connected to a tv, and many more uses. Gaming laptops also have a huge use in industries such as software development, coding, and other business related professions where a high power portable machine is necessary. Talking from experience as a owner of 2 gaming laptops, and a gaming tower.
