  • In this video we are using Wella Koleston in shade 9/1 for root coverage and Wella Koleston 7/1 for free hand lowlights.
Lowlights technique add depth and dimension. Because they emulate the different tones that naturally occur in our hair, they're perfect for breaking up block colours and making blonde hair look more natural. They're also a really great way to test out a darker hue without committing to it all over
Please leave any questions in the comments we would love to hear your favourite colours and techniques.

Could roots be done with a root smudge instead using colour fresh ??

Yes you could but you wouldn’t get much coverage. My client likes full coverage on her white roots so opted for Koleston. Thanks for watching 😉

could it be 7/1 on the roots and 9/1 for highlights ?

You will not get the same effect. I’m covering white hair with 9/1 and then adding a dark tone with 7/1
