You could always take weight off the cast iron manifold just drilling some speed holes in it!

Thank you for this video. Was curious if the 2001 manifold would bolt up to a 1992 head. I have a 1992 Ford ranger with the 2.3 Lima someone put a custom header with cat delete. it's a little louder than I want it to be. Was thinking of putting a cast iron manifold back on just to reduce the sound but don't want to add weight and reduce horsepower.

Glad I could help, it's probably loud due to lack off catalytic converter, I'll be testing if catalytic converter robs any power or not soon.

I know this video was posted a while ago, but I have a question. can you get the long tube aftermarket header for the 97 2.3 and put it on the 98 2.5 with the dual spark plugs and there be no interference?

Inlets and outlet on all these exhaust manifolds are in the same location and can be swapped over from one to the other.

I have a 1997 Ranger, are these years interchangeable with my 2.3? Like 1996 or 1998+

93 2.3l ranger. Can't find an egr tube to save my life. Found a 93 2.3l mustang egr tube but doesn't quite fit the length for the egr valve. What are my options?

Try local salvage yards, eBay, craigslist, fb marketplace.

That's why the 2.5 has a lot more more torque than HP.
