1:06 I’m a homeowner and using foam board as well. It’s actually a nice refresher when you can switch out the shelving paper, plus as a homeowner there is PLENTY more to spend money 😰 💕
Love the music and the shelves.... looks great 👍🏻
Looks great!! Thank you for sharing. Enjoyed the music too.
I did this in rental properties.. Owner always ask me to leave them.. Thanks for sharing.
Oof I was thinking about how to cover the awful wire racks in my fridge and this is perfect! Thanks!
I love this video!!!! Thank you for making my life easier!! I’m heading to the store right now!😀😀😀
Looks amazing. The contact paper was a niece way to finish.
the music is killing me it's so funny. love it!
I saw a similar video on Do It on a Dimes channel, but I love your contact paper choice a lot more! So fancy and clean! I would love to know how they hold up in a few weeks--- if they dent under heavy items or not!
Love this ! Definitely doing this in my kitchen !
Amazing work! Love it
This is freaking amazing!!!!! I needed this!!!
wow, that really came out nice. what a difference.
Love it and need to do this. Thanks.
Nice job! Quite an improvement. 👏👏👏
Thank you for the idea! Nice 👍🏼
If you had not cut all the way through, you could have left the poster board attached on the back and only cut through the front, then folded it down. I just moved and have these wire shelves EVERYWHERE.. pantry, laundry, linen. Hate them. I was just thinking foam board too, thanks for showing this.
Great job! I've gotta try building some for my spare room! 5:33
LOVE THE MUSIC!!!!!!! tyfs. HUGS
That is a pretty good idea. If I ever have the need for wire shelves, I will remember this. Thanks!!!
I think what I liked best about this video was the music. The video itself; informative, thanks, I've been nervous about using contact paper... but the music...

Love the idea!
Looks great.
Love this one!
Brilliant!!! Easy and pretty cheap!
Excellent idea
That dum be dooby dooby dum song makes me think of the minions lol!! Ive got a contact paper challamge to do, copper coloured contact paper to cut into 90 14x14 cm squares to cover in an organised random pattern on the tiles in my kitchen.... will be posting on my instagram.... eeep!
I have done this to my wire shelves , just didn’t put front flap
Diffidently helps to keep things better organized & move things
I’ve done something similar in my bathroom, but didn’t do the part on front. I also got a couple rolls of wrapping paper to cover them in. I tried using regular glue to glue it down...YUCK!! What a mess!! I only did one that way. Going to redo it & this time try a spray adhesive I got at the Dollar Tree. Hopefully that works better.
Genius ! Thank you !!
I struggle so much with contact paper. But I want to use your foamboard idea and cover it with something like placemats or something else from thrift store that I can just glue on the board
Love it!!
Nice job!
Great idea! Tfs...🌻
Dope soundtrack
Do you have any suggestions for covering white wire shelf/clothes rod systems?
Thanks for sharing very nice
Would be great in my craft room, a lot of us use these wire shelves in our craft rooms
Oh that's True! I totally forgot about that :) Great idea!
FYI Dollar Tree has standard poster foam board for $1 each
Inspired! Doing this ASAP!
Fabulous!
Thanks my closet needed an uplift
Love it music funny too
How about cardboard from boxes instead of foam board?
Next time put the contact paper on the right side before you cut then, on the back, cut but not all the way through, giving you a natural "hinge" so you aren't trying to tape two loose pieces of foam board together. Much simpler. Best of luck. BTW, I actually like the wire shelves, but I put plastic sheeting on them to prevent escapes. ;)
I did this and instead of contact paper I used wallpaper that I had left over.
Looks so nice...too bad you have to put food in there. haha
I’m finally fed up with the bad wire shelves in my apartment. To add insult to injury the owners painted them and 6 months later it’s still tacky...with hair stuck in it!

Can you do a house tore? |-/
But the marble DOES look very, very nice!
Maybe you don’t know her Cas “ From The Clutterbug “ that’s her theme song Life is a Dream sweet heart I don’t know if that the name of the song . But, I love her channel and this song just reminds me of her. I’m sure I’m not alone on this. Maybe you should change it? Just wanted to let you know if your not familiar to her. Just does great Diy too
Many TH-camrs use the same songs on TH-cam. There's only so many they can use that isn't copyrighted. You're bound to find TH-cams who use the same.
It's good to see the woodprix has new Instructions to save my money and energy to build it.
Great ideas. Music is a bit much.👎 Lol🎵🎵🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
Honest I would have just used heavy duty brown paper. Not so pretty but practical.
