But in the unforgiving world of Tarkov, there are true gluttons for punishment, and chief among them is “Pestily”.

Escape from Tarkov is like when you lose a 1v1 against the last remaining player in a battle royal but 10x worse and every 5 seconds
Honestly the most accurate way I can describe it is "imagine it's the last 5 minutes of a battle royale, but it never ends"
I faced pestily in game a few weeks ago on the customs map. He dropped my two squadmates before we could do anything and I barely escaped in one piece.
Safe to say he's very good lol

My dad encountered pestily in a 5 man with a navy seal, they all died within a minute. SEAL went down first after saying he heard someone moving and then everyone got picked off one by one

@derp derpin Lol if movement is your primary concern with Tarkov, then you haven't played enough Tarkov or other first-person battle simulators. I prefer the wobbly realistic movement now over run-and-gun "smooth" movement. It adds more depth to the immersion overall and takes a certain level of skill to get used to.

I barely know Pestily, but just from hours and hours of watching him on stream he might be the most genuine, nicest dude I've ever seen. I wish him all the best and can't wait to see what he does in the future.

The reason me and I think a lot of other players play Escape from Tarkov, is because of that adrenaline rush, and that amazing feeling when you are able to extract from a raid, when you are on Factory and you get 3 kills then extract with a full backpack the rush you get from knowing what you just did makes you wanna go again, always chasing that next big run
And if not, you ragequit for a 1 week then come back xD

Just started playing and Pestily YT vids helped alot. It's cool to see the charity events and how he came to be. Tarkov is such a burtualy unforgiving game yet here he is paying it forward as he said. And helping out players.

Pestily is an absolute legend and so deserving of this type of recognition! Even if you have no interest in ever playing Tarkov, his streams are a load of fun to watch. Only problem is that he makes a nearly impossible game look so damn easy.
4:13 I totally agree with that statement saying you don't often do your assigned mos. Coming from my experience and not saying everyone else who joins the usmc or any branch of service. I personally don't do my job as a ammunition technician only because my unit doesn't not go on ranges or field operation as much as I believe in other units.

@@yosurushi1427 it's a well known fact some soldiers miss on purpose though. might be a lot less now that conscription isn't really a thing anymore but there's a lot of motivations to join the army other than wanting to fight. (I know one dude who did but some others I know had whole other reasons like getting a free education or trucking license....)

That moment of being in a gun fight, getting shot in the back, taking a machete to that dudes face and continuing is and will be one of the most legendary moments in Tarkov history. Fucking glorious.
I worked nights back in 2017 and remember joining Pestily's streams when he had like 12 people on average in them. Content was still the same, attitude was still the same. Pest is just an all around class act and has been from the start.

Pestily is easily my favorite Tarkov streamer. I don't really play that game as much as I used to (I certainly haven't been playing on this wipe) but his content I remember was extremely helpful.

to those that remember contract wars i salute you, it was the back bone of this game dev money stream and their first success, it was really really enjoyable as a kid coming home and deciding ya know what not feeling black ops 2, want something else to enjoy on pc, and this game was it, i followed this developer for a long time, but after their hired ops failure i had a sour taste in my mouth. Im glad they became what they are today, cos those guys were legit amateurs when they started out and learnt as they developed contract wars, and they really stretched the unity 3d engine of years ago out a new one, they made the game look really good. i hope they continue their success with tarkov.

Really good video, Pestily is an amazing guy, and a great teacher to the newcomers to the game. And his personality falls in with just about every Australian I've met playing games, just down to earth, kind, and looks out for others. They birth them different over there I swear.
