- Remi and Miranda were headed to Sun Peaks Bike Park for opening weekend and I made the last minute call to jump in their van and tag along, I was stoked I did!
This was the first time I have ridden here and it did not disappoint. What makes it so good? There are smooth, fun beginner trails, and then there are fast, fun and rowdy expert trails. The builders did a good job creating flow trails that work at really high speed! It is also rare to find dirt like this in a bike park. It had raw and natural and it had perfect berms and jumps. What more could you ask for! Definitely going to make the trip out here again!

@Stress Less Ah I didn't notice anyone had crashed! Would have made sure they were all right! That section was sketch because it went from fast and 'smooth' to super tech.
i've ridden that section prob 100 times, never that fast though!

Just how I remember Sun Peaks. The enormous speed down steep and rough tracks while traveling quite some distance in the air is what makes that place unique.

I like RAW clips like these, a pleasure to watch! I am getting more and more impressed by Remi's riding style, his inside corners were ridiculous and how does he doe one footers and dog pissers with clips, or did he have flats for the bikepark? You guys are so fast, absolutely blasting through these sketchy trails!!
He practiced a lot with flats so I think he is just really comfortable doing them with clips as well.

One of the best bike park POV vids ever, just raw shredding for 19min! I've ridden a lot at Whistler and of course it is amazing but the rawness and steep tech in this video can't really be found there (in the bike park). Need to check this place out with a DH bike.

Hey Jesse noticed you’ve got your gps mounted to your stem top cap why that over handlebar mount
I didn't like rotating the handlebar mount over and over again to get to my oneup tool.
This makes sun peaks look sooo much smoother than it is😂

Just try your best to be 'light'. If you think it and will it it helps you not slip out

Gabriel Leute what about the bike positioning. Do I need to lean towards the camber or just keep the bike straight ??
Important that you try your best to keep the bike perpendicular with the the camber, but then keeping your body as straight as possible, you will probably end up somewhere in-between and hopefully that will increase grip levels.

We were aware of her, black bears here just charge to scare you away and keep their cubs safe. We did as she wanted.
