Hi! I am really grateful for this community and I always love getting your feedback. I have received lots of feedback on an outfit in this video, so I wanted to say a few things. I always try to include different ways to style outfits in my videos to reach all different style preferences. The outfit that has received so much attention is a very trendy and youthful styled outfit. I was not specific about that, but I did say it was a "look" which probably was the wrong choice of words and did not explain it very well. I also understand it's not an outfit style everyone will like since it is very trendy, but there are some people that will. There were also 2 other less trendy outfits styled with the same pants to show multiple ways to style them. I do appreciate the negative feedback and most of the feedback was not rude or insultive. It is very important for all of us to be able to voice our opinions, but I believe the opinions should be expressed in a respectful way and about the item or the outfit. If there ever comes I time that any of the comments are disrespectful or insultive to me personally or my channel, the comment will be removed and the person writing the comment will be blocked. I want this to be a positive place for anyone who wants to come and learn about trends, improve their personal style and just have some fun with fashion. I would also love to know what you would recommend to wear in place of any outfits or items you don't like in any of my videos. This would help me to understand what you would like to see instead. The loafers don't look good with the cargo pants at all, and the black ones do not look good with the light cargo pants. You should wear lighter color shoes and sneakers are better.
That's kind of a rude way to comment. Are you sure it's not just because you dislike loafers? My mom is 70 and she hates loafers and, as a result, she doesn't like any outfits that include them.
I like the first "frumpy" version of the cargo pants with the pink top over the ones you suggest. I think it is those chunky loafers. To me, they just don't go with those pants.
I love your channel and sense of style, but the black loafers do not look good with the white cargo pants. All the other frumpy to fabulous looks were wonderful.

Thanks! I tried that but the cargo pants are ivory, not white, so I couldn't find the right pair to go with them and I wanted to try something different since I already did a look with the platform sneakers.
GREAT video. I have to say, I have trouble with the black loafers, especially with the light cargos. The tennis shoes looked the best & the pants looked the best with bottoms wider...NOT bunched‼️ Thank you for ALL your hard work.
Loved the loafers with the darker pants. I also noticed that showing your ankles, wich were almost the same color as your top under the blazer just pulled everything together. Great video Jamie!
That is a very hard style, and I talked about that. It's also a unique "look" that not everyone is going to like. It's very youthful and on trend. Did you see the rest of the style options for it that looked even better?
I don’t like those cargo pants, I actually have two pair I got from Walmart and they are not sinched at the ankles, they do have the pockets on the legs. They are 98% cotton and 2% spandex, really nice material.
You have some very good content in your videos. However, just for me, it's very off-putting that the first line I see is '21 items earn commission ' and 19 of those items are priced at higher price points. This tells me that you would rather have viewer spend $625 on GG trainers so that you earn commission rather than recommending something at a better price point, and what could be a much better shoe! I am aware that several You- Tubers are doing this now, however to me it equates to the old late night infomercial. And we ladies all know how much bad product we purchased because we believed. Sorry, it just feels as if you're all peddling and hyping the same stuff. Will miss your presentation.
I am sorry you feel that way. I can't speak for others but for me I link the items that I am wearing in the video and if they are not available I find similar items. The items your are talking about are ALL items I have on in the video, including the GG sneakers!! I have been very transparent about what I purchase on my channel and I talk about Golden Goose all the time and they are worth the price to some people, including me. There will not always be other lower priced options linked for the simple fact that TH-cam only allows a certain amount of characters in the description and on the video links. My goal is to at least link what I have on in the video. Also, the commissions we receive through affiliates are so small and aren't even paid for several months. It think it is really unkind of you to judge someone based on what you ASSUME about them and it's even worse when that assumption is not true. You can go back and look at my other videos and what I link and it will prove to you I don't link high priced items just for my sake.
Great video as always--I too love the side by side comparison. I couldn't find the link for the beautiful cropped blazer/jacket--I need that and it even might look as good on me as it does on you! I bought cargo pants from Banana R last fall in an olive green. I still wear them and I love that they are not as wide as the ones you have.
I am planning on wearing my cowboy boots with my denim medi skirt. I have both tall and shorter boots. I'm sure the tall boots will look great with the skirt but will have to try the shorter ones to see if they work also.

These videos are so helpful! Great job once again! I have a pair of wide leg flowy black pants that I love and want to wear in the fall. I was trying the pants on with some tops and couldn't figure out why nothing was working. Everything was unbalanced. I thought of you, and I just kept trying things on. Thankfully I have a black floral flutter sleeve that balanced the shoulders perfectly when it's tucked in. Now I have that outfit paired together in my closet for the 1st cool day😅
Many of the outfits looked very good! A few, I think, I would personally have trouble with just because I'm only 5 ft. tall. Thank you for your hard work trying all these outfits on for us. Love your enthusiasm and fashion knowledge! I really appreciate your videos and always look forward to them!
I wouldn’t mind getting a blazer but not as big as they have out now. It will be outdated too soon. I work so hard to stay small because I’m shorter and prefer to dress to appear slim not short and stocky. I’ll keep my eye open though for something slightly oversized , leave it open and wear a more fitted shirt underneath.
Great tips. Curious to know if you have tried Otrium? It is an online very discounted store that carries lots of contemporary brands, some of which are crazy discounted. Some of the brands they offer are Mara Hoffman, Pistola, Reiss, Paige, Boden, Roller Rabbit, Wolford, Belstaff, Thakoon, Eliza J, and AG. I just did a large order with them, some things did not work out but I managed to snag a few absolute steals. I got two real leather jackets from Paige that retailed for $900 for only $100 and a wool coat from Paige for only $75. Also am keeping some items from Reiss and Pistola. I discovered them from another TH-camr that did a recent haul from them. Would love to see you try them out since it seems like a lot of your viewers are looking for contemporary at a good price point.
I liked the cargo pants uncinched at the bottom better. Personally I prefer jogger style pants that are relaxed thru the hip/thigh but fitted at the ankle to be in a more drapey type fabric. Aka harem pants 😊 Denim/twill is just too heavy/stiff for that look imo. Pants were very loose at the hem (flares, bell bottoms, bootcut) in the 70s & that worked with a chunkier shoe. Once the style changed to more of a cigarette, tapered ankle style, the shoes became more streamlined as well (pointy toed, skinny heeled) There is a reason certain silhouettes work & get repeated again & again :) The classic stove pipe/straight leg jean is a good compromise for all those missing their leggings & skinny jeans (or who feel they've aged out of them but do not embrace wide leg/baggy jeans)

Great video as always. The oversized blazer is definitely hard especially for petite people. I have stayed away from them and am noticing crop blazer trend is more suitable.
I would switch the black loafer for a lighter color. The black is way too harsh for the lighter color cargos. Not a fan of that style cargo pant anyway.

Great video, Jamie! I have a pair of cargo pants that were too long on me, so I threaded an elastic through the hem, to make them bunch up at the bottom and not fall over my shoes. It worked! And I disagree that this is a "frumpy" look (contrary to those negative comments). I think it looks fresh and current! ❤

Do not like the dark chunky loafers with the cargo pants! They look better with the black cargo.

I was going for a casual contrast look that I see was not so popular. But what can I say. We all have our own opinions.

Why would anyone, want to wear those oversized blazers or anything oversized Number one, they are not flattering and they add many pounds

That blazer is just too big/bulky on you. We are too small (even with our broad shoulders) to be able to carry off this look.

Hemming the Cargos would help maybe ? The blousing at the ankle makes them difficult.

There is no way those denim skirts can look anything but frumpy. Unless they are above the knee

Not lovin’ the cargo/genie pants. Cargo pants come in and out of style. They should stay out. I think they’re frumpy and unflattering.

The cargo pants only looked good with the sneakers, which is why I won’t buy them this time around, because they are really limited.
I’ve only ever seen cargo parts look sheik on someone once in my life. It was the early 2000s, the cargo pants were silk and she wore them with pumps.

I really liked the boots with the cargo pant! But I did not like the dark loafer with the light cargo.
