Get some fuel stabilizer and add to the jerry can when you fill it. I keep STA-BIL Storage Fuel Stabilizer in my lawnmower gas. That will about 95% stop dried gas clogs. It is still better to run the carb dry though.
Hi Curious, did you run the outboard until it was out of fuel prior to the 3 months of storage? Very happy to see your progression as sailors/cruisers. Leaps and Bounds in such a short time period.
You know… we pulled up the outboard in our last anchorage and then proceeded to completely forget about it. It was on our minds (prior to hauling out) to prep it but we just totally forgot 😯 Poor outboard and absolutely our bad!

Great Job with the spinnaker! Do you have a spinnaker pole or something you could use for one?
We do have a pole 👍 but with our asymmetrical it’s rarely needed.
