That club suits you. Very plain, very eye 2ish. Very plain and forgiving. It’s a no nonsense club. No stupid paint job. If I had an iron set of these, I’d play them.

I got a set of these clubs handed down to me when my grandpa's arthritis got too bad for him to play. I still use this set to this day and hit them just as well as the TM Stealth line. No need to spend money upgrading when 1993 technology gives me basically the same results!

I bought a set of these back in '93. They were nice irons and my son now plays them.

Got a full set of these at my brother in law’s in Hawaii as my second set. Love them.

Looked like you hit that one great! Put it in the bag. What if you made a set of mixed clubs but each one was a club you hit well?

I from time to time still play a full set of these clubs 3-pw, sw. these clubs are clunky looking, but they play really well. Great video.

I recently found a set of the slightly more modern burner LCG irons in absolute mint condition along with the driver and 3 wood. I can’t bring myself to game the woods but the irons feel amazing. My 9 yr old has a set of burner HTs from 2010 I found him a year ago. I think it will be fun to take them all out to the course together and play :) we are both very new golfers so it should be fun

I was handed down a set of these irons along with TM Ti Bubble 2 driver & woods. I replaced my driver and woods but I hit these irons better than any of the newer models ive tried (M4, Sim & Stealth).

The clubs I am playing didn't come with a 3-iron in the set. I came across a 3-iron 1993 Burner Midsize with a Flex Twist Plus carbon shaft and a Lamkin Crossline grip. It was like $20 and change. I like it a lot and lead with it on some par-three holes. As my Daddy said: "Don't marry for looks. Marry a good cook." (PS - the only newer club I play is a 2005 Callaway Big Bertha Fusion FT-3 driver. I campaign the old forged "blade" irons and wedges and Burner fairway woods. I'm just out to try and beat my former rounds).

Played these irons for a long time. Totally love the look and design.....but then again I also like Airstreams.

I just picked up a set of these, 3 to 9 for $65 in excellent condition original shafts and grips too. I plan to try these at the range. If I like them do a re-grip and use them.

I remember seeing these in slightly used to new condition for sale in the "used section ", not pre-owned but used. But I could have sworn the ones I remember were solid backs not a cavity like this. Maybe there was more than one version? The shape of the cavity reminds me of my Burner Tour irons from '96-98ish, although those tour's were more of a shallow dent, still have them in the bag with all the copper paint removed, shiny. You know those were some really good shots you hit right off the bat, but I get the looks thingy, kinda why I removed the ugly paint from my Burner tours,,,stealthy, understated, golf tools but not nearly as understated as the original Titleist DCI blacks! Use it, just use it man!

TGIF!!! Man when this came out I was so interested but I had my Ping Eye 2's and couldn't justify them. They look like gamers though.

If you don’t like the looks of these, try the ICW11s. Much better looking with the same hollow body tech.

P790s I have are nice. Shaping the ball is rough because the ball bounces off the face so fast. This looks like an eye 2 head.

Not my style either and looks do matter in golf (that whole mental game). In 93 I would have loved Tommy Armour 845s. They looked great, played well, and for their quality, quite affordable.

Not keen on the look of these at all. I'm playing TaylorMade RAC HT right now from around 2003, which are long but lack feel on the shorter irons. May go back to my Wilson Fatshaft 2 that have tremendous feel from 8 iron upwards.
Classic clubs are just more fun...
