  • Enjoy this tour of my mini loft apartment in New York City! This is by far the most expensive rent I've ever paid for relative to the size of the apartment but I guess that's the cost of living in NYC for ya. Is it worth it? I think only time will tell. For now, I'm absolutely loving the new spot. Enjoy this video family!

    4600 dollars for a room thats crazy actually. In middle europe this would be like 300 dollars/month + the gas,electricity,water around 100 more lol.

      yeah it‘s really insane. in live in europe in a region with the same minimum wage as new york, in a big city and i rent out a flat about the same size as yours for 400$ a month, loft space included. new york scares me man

      You have to compare it more to London or Paris pricing. NYC is an island with limited space, and everything is overpriced. It is definitely overpriced, but people will pay for it.

    We all know living in NY is crazy... and finally the algorithm brought me a room tour that is not looking luxurious/distant to normal young people's lives. I love your energy! Most importantly, it is not about the space you rent but your spirit living in it! You've made your place so cosy and warm. Well done. Subscribed.

    You could get more for your money if you lived just a 15-20 minute walk from that location. The West Village is great but as long as you are in walking distance, there's no need to pay that kind of crazy rent. I have an 800sf one bedroom for that price that has 4 closets, a dishwasher, full size stove and fridge-freezer, a laundry room etc. and utilities are included.

    I lived in NYC for 5 years, the place is so expensive that you are constantly spinning your wheels. Im now in ATL and have a 964sqft apartment in the heart of midtown for under $1500. The exact same apartment would be 6k + in Manhattan 3k+ in trendy areas of Brooklyn. But you my friend got finessed on the price of this spot its too expensive even for NYC. Its a good studio just overpriced

    It's a nice spot. I think it's too much but if you have it like that, okay. I have a large old school 2bed apt in Bklyn $2200 with backyard. You'll have to commute but still 20 mins or so to the city.

    I actually really like this apt. The bed space, however, would send my anxiety through the roof. I need to be able to fully sit up in my bed at any point during the night.

    I lived in NYC for my entire life until the age of 40 . I lived on 15th between 7th & 8th in Manhattan ‘s Chelsea district.
    My apartment was twice as big before the bathroom with 16 foot ceilings .the cost ? $700. Per month.
    I then moved to a 13 room Victorian in the mountains on a lake shore for around $ 300,000 . It is now worth $700,000+ . It is breathtaking & quiet .
    The only thing this tells me is that for $5,000 a month this guy is both young & a fool .

    • @DANIELDELCARMEN
      @DANIELDELCARMEN  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Gotta be willing to be a fool in order to be a master. I’m also more of a bet big, win big kinda guy paired a vicious attitude towards working hard and building revenue streams 🏆 I can see myself moving to a place more calm when I’m older but for now… building in the concrete jungle is the season I’m in😄

      Or here’s a thought. Rent & the economy isn’t the same as it was when you were his age. $700 back then was alot of money for the time. Also you chose to live in the mountains that life may not be for everyone especially a young person trying to figure out life the way you got to

      Factss it’s pretty insane. Im actually visiting Italy rn and I just got a whole variety of fruits for $9. It’d easily cost me $40 for the amount of fruit I got haha. In short, my eyes are opening to how different $$$ is around the world and even within the US - wild
