    I've been thinking about adding a hose real as well, guess it's time for a homedepot trip. Great setup man

    Nice video. If you have issues again might want to look into tapcon screws they are made for your application. They screw into concrete.

    These videos are so helpful! Could you advise the diameter of the hose you are using on the hose reel?

    Found something interesting. The resin can change color and still run fine with zero to low single digit TDS. What needs to be changed instead only is the 1 micron filter. You don’t even have to change out the carbon filters. Change the first stage with the 1 micron filter when the creep beyond 4-5 TDS occurs. Don’t pay any attention to the color change. Doesn’t seem to matter at all.

      ATF intheHouse the problem with using resin beyond 0 values is that the resin is actually letting stuff go in favor of stuff it has more affinity for. If I remeber right ammonia is something it has relatively low affinity for.

      Check out the BRS video because it releases silica that is not really detected. So while it might show 0 TDS, the resin can no longer catch what it is supposed to catch.

    It’s hard to do all this with a full time job, it’s killing me but I just about have everything automated at this point. Even auto water changes.

    Great video, I’m just about to upgrade my mixing station. Picked up two 55 gal jugs. But I only do a water change on my system once a month. 55 gallons a week? Jeez man...

    Nice setup there. Noticed the U.S. Army tat on your arm. I can say I found myself back in AIT getting my name tapes tatted on my chest 😂. Still get crap about from fellow Soldiers about it. You still in or enjoying that vet life?

    When you close the ball valve on that hose, do you have issues with pressure or do you shut off the pump first?

      @brianbaier1616 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wondering this also. I know from work, dead-heading a pump isn't that big of a deal for short term. Long term the pump can get a little hot from re-circulating the same water.

      I have no issues with pressure and no leaks.

    Have you noticed any issues with the water that is left in the line?

      I run all the old water into a bucket before using it on any tank or ATO.

    Pronounce cation as Cat-ion and anion as an-ion. It refers to the charge of the ions. Cat being positive and an being negative.
