𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝘂𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝘂𝗽𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗸𝗶𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲:

𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
0:00 Heat the headlight in an oven or in a carton box with a heat gun like we do, and separate the glass from the housing
0:13 Don't forget the little screw in the top
0:36 Unscrew the reflector out of the housing
0:53 Place the mounting parts over from the old reflector to the new bracket with the included mounting hardware
1:56 Now screw the projector in the bracket
3:01 Press the clips in the housing and screw the leveling points so the reflector is straight, and don't forget to place the bi-xenon wire now on the projector
3:05 Drill a hole (22mm) in the rubber housing cap
3:15 Cut the wires to the ballast of the D2H XB35 bulb and put it all through the cap
3:39 Put new butyl in the housing
3:59 We've made some angel eyes and devil eyes in the projector and shroud for a customer, but otherwise, just place the Apollo 3.0 shroud on the projector and clean up all parts inside before you place back the glass
4:20 Heat up the butyl again for about 13 minutes

Retrofitting refers to the addition of new technology or features to older systems. These days there are a lot of people who put a simple plug & play xenon kit in their halogen headlight housing in an attempt to improve night vision and looks of their vehicle. In fact they don’t realize that their headlight beams are often worse than before. Night vision achieves relatively little improvement on night vision because of a poor beam pattern, which increases the blinding of other road users. This is because their headlight housings are designed for halogen and not xenon.
A true Bi-Xenon projector update is now possible for your car. Such an upgrade will significantly improve your light output from 700-2100 lumens to 2800 and 3500 lumens, without blinding other traffic with glare from your headlight. Upgrade your headlight OEM style!

my hid set up exactly like above stopped working recently and have used it for about 1 year on my cb1000r. which should I look into, the bulb? or ballast? I checked all fuses & relay and they all seem to be fine. If its the bulb, where can I get a replacement bulb for it??? let me know thanks!

You can remove the original relays (the one that is supplied with the H7 wire harness) and replace it with the time delay relay :)

Not 100% needed, but for touching a shroud even when it isn't chrome anymore it is better to use gloves :-).
