Barbara bought the subscription of Beulr so that while she was sleeping in, her pre recorded video could play on the show to tell him that she was out.
Update: the business pivoted to note-taking and transcribing when you *can't* attend a meeting (which could also be used by hosts to make meeting minutes available to anyone): "Say goodbye to manual note taking during zoom calls Beulr helps you automatically record and transcribe zoom meetings for free."
I know somebody who has already done this, but with an important distinction. You don't use it to fool people into thinking you're there. You use it to attend and collect information from live meetings that you can't attend at that time for review later. The virtual you is just an advanced profile picture / video that better represents you and or your brand. So essentially what you have is a scheduled meeting recorder. TIVO for meetings if you will. In addition, pre-meeting you can set important keywords/phrases to listen for. With this the app can highlight content you're interested in and even create summaries. City meetings, HOA meetings, a conference where you can't attend all meetings held at the same time, your kids sports meetings etc.
Communication is how we coordinate our minds and efforts. There'd be no technology beyond sticks without it. It's not the only thing that separates us but is a major thing.
@@EGarrett01 my point is that we are not the only living beings to communicate, nor do we do it most efficiently or effectively. Not an animal, but look into communication of mycelium, which grows into what we know as mushrooms, as a place to start.
@@psychenautes I think talking allows centralization and lying which can be bad. But I'd definitely say that humans communicate the most efficiently because we have recordable language. One human being can write a book that literally millions of other human beings read.
@@EGarrett01 Recordable language is a very good point, and though it has the potential to communicate to millions, even billions, across the globe you still run into pitfalls. One has to be taught by another to learn to read words, and with the various human written languages throughout history, that isn't the most efficient thing. Also, what someone reads and the meaning they interpret from those words is often vastly different than someone with a different background or mindset, which is often different from the meaning that was attempted to be portrayed by the writer. Not always a bad thing, but in many cases, books have led to mass miscommunication globally. Another thing, information or thoughts that were recorded millions of years ago may have little to no relevance to where we are today, not always the case, but with all of the books in the world to read, I'd have to imagine a large chunk of them will not communicate anything relevant or impactful to most people's lives today. Not that everything written needs to be relevant and impactful.

He should have pitched it as something you can use in case you aren't able to attend meetings because of a busy schedule so it records it for you and uses a bot to kind of not be disrespectful to the teacher in the meeting.
The most polite mr. Wonderful.
Daymond’s right he should have attended more classes
This was never going to work. He's pitching this product to a group of execs who call these meetings, run them, and expect their managerial staff to show. That is the real 'integrety' aspect they all hint at after they stop being amused.
I went and searched for their website and looks like his product has transformed into a service that has good utility. Great job!
This dude is exactly how I run my company
Like spot the f on I forgot to say that
@@BirdieRowe Love that 😎
Easily my favorite pitch dude ever, more people should be like this
Imagine at the end it turns out that the guy talking to the sharks was a hologram and the real guys steps in and the pitch begins
What a beautiful person inside & out. Spot on a fantastic disposition ❣️
Everyone check out the face he made when Kevin said "Attendance is sometimes legally required." COMEDIC GOLD (6:33--6:38)
Geesh. You have a low bar for comedy gold.
Shout out Mr. Frenkel for showing us Shark Tank during class
Mr wonderful and his jokes can never disappoint 😂
This guy is genius...by just pitching the idea here he marketed it to millions of students and lasy asses across the globe 😅😅😅😅
This dude is the real life Ferris bueller
This pitch looks like one of the most fun where the sharks were just having a good time laughing about it all and the guy had a great attitude.
This guy has Bay Area tech sales written all over him. I think he’d actually be quite good at it too
I feel like this is a brilliant idea that he should’ve just kept to himself for pure quality of life purposes. Once people are widely aware of it, it doesn’t work at all.
The looks on their faces are priceless.... The reality is that it's super disrespectful to do this in any business. You would destroy your career if you missed a couple questions.
I think it's more designed for the 200 person intro to whatever class
Loved it, and how all of them were equally respectful to each other. But Shark Tank probably wasn't such a good platform to start off with-but I can't emphasize enough how GREAT of an idea that is frr.
Good on this guy with his incredible energy, just accepting his fate and smiling it off! I've never seen someone handle rejection such graciously lol.
He's definitely a very smart person, with a charming personality. Dude will success
I don't think so. Success requires hard work.
Bro where was this 2 years ago when i had online college
Would be so damn easy to make a business. Run 2 ads everytime before your customer can setup a meeting. AD gives you revenue. If someone doesn't want to wait for the ads, pay for premium give the person some extra benefit next to being ad free. Easy-peasy lemon squeezy. I just made you millionaire in 4 sentences.
@@dogbreathmints depends on what you consider rich. I don’t feel rich, but i’m not struggling either.
That expression “grill” informally means to subject any person with
intense questioning or interrogation.
Like Mr. Miyagi said, “Sometimes best way attend meeting…No be there.”
I went to Tulane - this is THE most Tulane undergraduate invention ever
"Some men just want to watch the world burn."
- Alfred
He should crowdfund. Gen z would buy into it but bosses like the sharks won't.
That last joke of mr wonderful is so funny 🤣🤣🤣
He's very handsome. Wish him the best of luck!
2:24 everyone give Mark a hand 👏🏼. Great job special buddy!
I love this guy's attitude and disposition. I am on board with all the Sharks regarding integrity and creating a way to "cheat". Part of being a successful person IS showing up and being engaged. I think that's a character trait of almost all if not all successful people. I mean, i do like his thinking and creativity. But I wonder how he can use that same mindset to building another product.
Kevin at the end 🤣🤣
This guy is great, he is probably there just for the experience but that is the best thing you can do, it is better 1000 times over just siting in the class all day (tho you should also learn in class...)
Every time there is a bad idea, they should be like, “I’ll take 50% at $1.” It would be so funny if a “business owner” actually accepted the deal.
It has to be at at least the asking money
Great idea for all those meetings that could've been an email...
This guy is fit for only one thing: motivational speaker!
as soon as google, teams and zoom requires captcha to join the meeting....
Barbara bought the subscription of Beulr so that while she was sleeping in, her pre recorded video could play on the show to tell him that she was out.
😂🙌🏼
This comment wins 😂
Update: the business pivoted to note-taking and transcribing when you *can't* attend a meeting (which could also be used by hosts to make meeting minutes available to anyone):
"Say goodbye to manual note taking
during zoom calls
Beulr helps you automatically record and transcribe zoom meetings for free."
One of the best pitches I’ve seen, hilarious
Daymond saying communication is what separates us from animals is completely ignorant. Funny product though.
@@EGarrett01 I'd go so far as to say the method of communication between our species is almost more of a hindrance in many aspects.
Not that everything written needs to be relevant and impactful.
its funny to see the sharks initial mindsets. Daymond was grilling him on "how can you not get caught, they will know you're doing the same thing!", while Mark sees the joke aspect of the company
when kevin said “SOME OF THE WORLDS I LIVE IN.” 🤔🤔🤔
🤣🤣🤣 Literally and scary
“Communication is the only thing that separates us from animals”
- daymond who’s never let anyone speak in a meeting or in his office and probably says “when I speak, you listen”
"I was on track to graduate suma cum laude and then quit because I was learning more building a business". While I don't disagree you can learn a lot working on a new company, not graduating when you're close is a bonehead move
Zuckerberg did it. P common in the CS world
@@ryansyed55 he dropped out after his sophomore year he wasn't about to graduate
People need to be careful when they try to imitate those "college drop-out billionaires"... After all, we only hear about the success stories. No one ever told us how many college drop-outs did not make it in life.
I love that he named it as Bueller from the movie “Ferris Bueller's Day Off”
That just screams a future licensing problem of the name.
People keep seeing the same loop of a guy drinking coffee for 1 yr and they won't figure out its a bot . Give me a break what planet is this guy on.
exactly
Reminds me of Peter from Office Space. Same vibe
Yeah, except he got a raise.
I literally made something like this for myself a while ago
Imagine using this to attend court dates. I'm sure the judge will LOVE it. So much that they'll use it themselves.
Is this before Zoom?
Lmao!! Mr. Wonderful with the last laugh!! 😂😂😂😂
