One of the other TH-camrs Uses Krud Kutter for spray paint on fabric: spray it on until drenched, scrub with a loofah style sponge blot out as much as you can and then wash! Seems to work extremely well, I know I’m ordering some!

You know I wonder how much these places would appreciate a pretty spray painted mural on their walls. I think due to their own (obvious) love of spray paint, it would go down a treat.
When you come across nice comforters and/or blankets use OxiClean versatile and then put it in the wash with Oxiclean Detergent and all that spray color will come out. Food for thought. :)
Another awesome haul! I found the same squirrel last night, underneath was chipped so he came home to my garden. I'm glad I looked over some of the comments, I found cake mixes too... Now I know why there was so many of them 😞

Melanie McGrath basically, all a letter campaign would do is cause companies to be more aware and take extra measures to destroy things (I.E. Ulta) and prevent diving all together. Diving is legal (or rather..."not illegal" ) in a lot of places but none of us really want to bring mainstream attention for fear that legal action can be taken or face more destruction and locked bins. I think we ALL know that corporate America is a group of greedy S.O.B.s... It's got to be handled at the governmental level of each state. It has to both reduce waste and not cause any additional expense to both the companies and the communities. And that's not as simple as it sounds.
Management and owners of these companies who destroy goods should be interviewed on TV and asked to explain why they destroy and throw food, products etc away when there are so many needy people out there who would be grateful of these discarded goods. There are charities who feed and clothe the homeless, families , these people would be grateful .
so, why can't they sign a waiver to release them from liability in the event of injury or illness? Seems like a no-brainer. Just like (though) out in the woods - people realize that a tree with a purple line painted is like a *no-go-zone* ... but then & again, other people have no clue what that symbolizes so what about them? Can't just later say, "um they shouldn't go out in the woods because they don't know whats what!..." They go out there anyway! One more "same as" : sign on the property indicating don't go there - removes property owner from liable in case someone goes there anyway, gets hurt & decides to sue... Happy Trails to the good folk

I can be sued.If a robber comes in my home, I shoot them. If they don't die, they can sue me. So maybe it's depends on the state. I asked the same question at work. They said it doesn't matter.

Cops don't need a warrant to search my home and I will be fined if they find any guns out. A 22 rifle is now illegal because they consider it an assault rifle. Duncan Hines cake mixes - white cake, yellow cake, butter golden cake and confetti cake were recalled just a few weeks ago for possible salmonella contamination.
Stores are prohibited from dumping recalled contaminated food in their store dumpsters. They must be sent back to the manufacturer or disposed of in a more secure manner.
Yes I checked them when we got home and found the recall but oddly none of the expiration dates of the flavors of boxes we got were on the list. We thought about it a while and kept checking the recall and sadly ended up throwing them away because we didn’t want to chance it...what if the store knew something we didn’t? I was going to make one of the cakes and I couldn’t bring myself to do it so if I wouldn’t risk it for myself, we certainly weren’t going to send it to a shelter ❤️

When they are pulling up and parking at Office Depot, Steve asks her where he should park. She tells him where to park. He parks there. End of story. It’s called marriage, people. You take turns giving each other advice, help, instruction, whatever you want to call it. You defer to one another. Cooperation and respect. Listening not just talking and quarreling. HEALTHY COMMUNICATION. Take at look at this couple and you will see how a good marriage functions, people. How it becomes a good marriage in the first place. I wonder how many of those commenters are in happy, healthy, sustaining and long term marriages (20+ years or more) and/or intimate relationships. Guys i was out Diving the other night and found a HUGE cabanet behind living spaces! i dont have a big truck or van like you guys though so i couldnt take it home = ( you guys should check out behind the furniture stores! they toss perfectly good demo stuff.
Gosh some of those businesses are so wasteful. I just cannot understand why the food & clothing isn't given to the needy... why do they choose to just dump it? So much could have been sold at majorly discounted prices too, but they would rather it go to landfills. So wasteful & not good for the environment. Steve and Steph. I think you guys are the most ultimate people. I wish i could do what you guys do. Here where i live they don't have any bed bath and beyond a CVS a few other stores you hit. The dollar tree and the dollar store will not permit people to go through there dumpsters. Anyway, We are very poor people and i have 2 kids that won't have a christmas if i can't get any help. Resources here are very limited. I was told i might have cancer in my left lung so my time is limited. So with that said. If you give anything away for free please think of us in your prayers. Try Krud Kutter on the paint. It was created by a painter to clean up paint spills after a paint job. I've used it on dried blood (old bull dog - like Jerry - who had cancerous spots on his belly that kept busting and leaking blood) on grey carpet; my daughter used it on red wine and lipstick in a white carpet of a house she bought and it took all of these out of the carpets, even old stains too. I picked mine up in the paint department of a department store.
That's sad that they spray paint the stuff. I don't understand why the stores care if people, like you guys, take this stuff that is only going to land fills. Thank you for these videos. Bed Bath and Beyond I get it that maybe you can't donate it for health reasons so you have to throw it out, and that you don't want people "dumpster diving". But it seems to me, that in the time it took to destroy these items and cover them with spray paint you could have just put them in a bag on top of all the other dumpster crap and let someone else just take it and do something positive with it. Instead of donating bedding and other belongings to shelters, they paint clothes so they can not be used, they are bad people. By the way, how do you remove the paint from the things you take?
Homeless people would like the blankets and pillows even with the paint on them. Especially with the zippered bag that they come in. It will help it to stay dry on rainy days.

I brought that up too a couple of weeks ago, agreeing with other people's comments about protecting her feet, she responded that she'll just be wearing her flip flops and even skirts, since it's Summer time.. so far she's been very lucky to not step on broken glass or even needles.. I'm sure she looks first before diving in the dumpsters, I just hope she'll always be lucky with not stepping on something really bad. I'm glad she does protect her hands though

Sprinkle baking soda and put vinegar in a spray bottle and put a Dawn dish soap on it and that will get rid of the stain and I would put it through the washer machine

Ur grabber...go to a medical supply place. The one where u get ace bandages, knee braces, canes, crutches etc. They sell these grabbers that work 200% better than the one u have n some have a way to extend them. Got one for my 84yr old mom last yr. Pretty decent price too for how great it is. ❤
I been giving this a try..not too much luck tho cuz they lock em and the tops wont lift...small town to tho...but what I did find such as BRAND NEW clothing I brought home and washed and dried it to be taking to our hope center..I WILL NOT take to good will or our thrift store here...or anyone who is just gonna sell it and not just donate it ya know

The red paint comes off the easiest for bed bath and beyond items. Usually a quick wash or hairspray!

Also sometimes Lysol spray or wipes nail polish remover is smelly but also works if it’s on the top of plastic like a blanket etc.

Crud cutter works good to get paint off cloth. My kind of beautiful uses it alot for that.

It’s actually illegal to dumpster dive in the Canadian city I live in. It sure would help a lot of low-income people here stretch their budget though.

Instead of donating bedding and other belongings to shelters, they paint clothes so they can not be used, they are bad people. By the way, how do you remove the paint from the things you take?

Get some Krud Kutter spray it on the paint let it soak in then scrub it, repeat then throw in washer

Amanda our dates weren’t in the recall oddly! But I got nervous about it and didn’t donate them (I’m sure the store threw them out as a precaution as well not ready to risk it even if it didn’t meet the recalled batch dates)

I brought that up too a couple of weeks ago, agreeing with other people's comments about protecting her feet, she responded that she'll just be wearing her flip flops and even skirts, since it's Summer time.. so far she's been very lucky to not step on broken glass or even needles.. I'm sure she looks first before diving in the dumpsters, I just hope she'll always be lucky with not stepping on something really bad. I'm glad she does protect her hands though

Sprinkle baking soda and put vinegar in a spray bottle and put a Dawn dish soap on it and that will get rid of the stain and I would put it through the washer machine

Ur grabber...go to a medical supply place. The one where u get ace bandages, knee braces, canes, crutches etc. They sell these grabbers that work 200% better than the one u have n some have a way to extend them. Got one for my 84yr old mom last yr. Pretty decent price too for how great it is. ❤

I been giving this a try..not too much luck tho cuz they lock em and the tops wont lift...small town to tho...but what I did find such as BRAND NEW clothing I brought home and washed and dried it to be taking to our hope center..I WILL NOT take to good will or our thrift store here...or anyone who is just gonna sell it and not just donate it ya know
