Thank you for constantly making such high quality videos about North Korea. I’ve never seen such succinct, well designed videos with such low viewer counts, and I’m glad to see this channel gradually pumping stuff out at its own pace.

People say a lot of stuff about the DPRK, but. They have a metro, grand monuments, well kept boulevards, an inner city water park, trollybus systems, and a modernist sensibility to city planning. Things my country just doesn't. We're lucky if our busses come at all, nevermind proper electrification for the most important routes. @L well said. I mean, every sane country would love to trade with friendly nations. It is the imperialistic US hegemony and crumbling sanctions that needs to stop.
Yanggakdo is indeed a great hotel experience. The view from the rooftop restaurant ist breathtaking. The dining opportunities are superb and the spa is just great. I am looking forward to my second stay in Pyöngyang…
Excellent video. Are there more traditional museums in Pyongyang, such as museums featuring specific types of art such as brush painting or ceramics, or a museum on the archeology of Korea, or a museum on DPRK cinema? Does the DPRK have ballet, such as exists in the other Communist nations like China, or Vietnam or the former Soviet Union? Is there a site devoted to plants, such as a botanical garden? Given the interesting architecture of Pyongyang, is there a museum or site devoted to industrial design and architecture? The architecture of Pyongyang seems quite different than that of any of its neighbours, and in exciting ways.
I love the background music in your videos, they add a nice touch. Would you consider doing videos on DPRK music? I've been slightly addicted to it since my trip in 2019 but there's so little information out there on the subject, I'd love to learn more about popular bands and singers.

can you have a video about your history with dprk? i saw in a reply you have lived in seoul so it seems interesting topic, where did you visit when in the country?
Looks impressive and interesting as an overview. But it seams as the tour rotates around the same topic: workers party / revolution. To me personaly, once I see one monument to Kim or Revolution, it would be enough. Seams like there is nothing else to do or see. Like, where is the history/sights prior to the Revolution?
There’s actually a lot of historical stuff to see in Pyongyang, this itinerary just hits the highlights. I’d recommended Taedong and Potong Gates, the gates of the old city of Pyongyang. There’s also a very impressive gate at Taesongsan as well as some traditional cultural stuff if you visit places like the embroidery institute or any of the local parks where there are usually amateur artists. Much of Pyongyang was bombed flat during the Korean War so, there are fewer pre-war sites than a city like, say, Kaesong. But that’s because there were only a handful of structures which survived the bombardment
There is something about this Pochonbo Music from Korea. I like it and I legit seriously listen to it. I know its weird to listen to this but I cant help it I just like it.
I only managed to go once before Covid, I was working at Koryo Tours and went as a trainee Tour Leader for Victory Day 2019. I was supporting the 5-night Victory Day Tour which went from Pyongyang to Kaesong via Sariwon, then back to Pyongyang and on to Pyongsong, just north of the capital, before departing. The original plan was to visit more often during 2020, although, the world ended a bit and scarpered those plans. That being said, I wouldn't have started the channel without it so, silver linings.
@@DPRKExplained So did you have more freedom to go around the country freely as a tour leader of koryo tours since it is directly related to North korean government? Also did you go on trips that normal tourists would not be able to?
