Just drove today chennai to madurai around 450 kms. Maintained speed around 80 to 90 km/h. Will take more time to reach the destination but no stress. Polo GT given 21km mileage.

80 to 90 km/h is a decent and safe speed for Indian highways. All cars give good mileage in this speed. Moreover there will not a big time difference between 100+ drivers and below 100 drivers.
