I found so much joy ,caring for our home, preparing meals, baking, canning , and freezing wonderful fruits and vegetables . Life has certainly changed, I am so grateful for that time in my life. My grandmother could make a new recipe out of what she had in her kitchen at the time. I can do this as well. Only difference was I would cook from ingredients at hand and not write down what I had done. Most times the meal was very tasty but then I would forget how I made it to get the end result 😅 You reminded me of this when you used what you had to make a tasty meal. Hi Elizabeth, 😃 I used ghee it makes it crispier and I love the taste too! Oh I hear you on that heat and stuffiness. This summer is just such a blessing this year also living on the lower part of the hill makes it very windy every night so at least I can get some fresh air in in the morning and at night. Ha ha I was not counting on the celery will attack me! 😂😂❤ You can't trust a celery these days! 🤣

We used to make "DIRT CAKE" with crushed oreos on the bottom & top. Then added gummy worms and fake spiders on top for kids or a construction scene with mini construction trucks. For adults into gardening, we used a flower pot for the pudding mixture with fake flowers and a small trowel for serving.

So I am SO happy I found your channel last year with all your fabulous recipes for gluten free. Its all a bit confusing right now, but i think with reading and getting to watch people who follow this lifestyle, will help. My grandmother could make a new recipe out of what she had in her kitchen at the time. I can do this as well. Only difference was I would cook from ingredients at hand and not write down what I had done. Most times the meal was very tasty but then I would forget how I made it to get the end result 😅
You reminded me of this when you used what you had to make a tasty meal.

Hi Elizabeth, 😃 I used ghee it makes it crispier and I love the taste too! Oh I hear you on that heat and stuffiness. This summer is just such a blessing this year also living on the lower part of the hill makes it very windy every night so at least I can get some fresh air in in the morning and at night. Ha ha I was not counting on the celery will attack me! 😂😂❤ You can't trust a celery these days! 🤣

Love every minute of your videos. I know you are very busy but would you do a little video on how you cut your Sausages before frying? Mine always explode. We live in southern Germany so we eat lots of sausage. Thanks in advance.
We used to make "DIRT CAKE" with crushed oreos on the bottom & top. Then added gummy worms and fake spiders on top for kids or a construction scene with mini construction trucks. For adults into gardening, we used a flower pot for the pudding mixture with fake flowers and a small trowel for serving.
