For everyone perplexed by his accent: as a Swede there is two ways to talk English. Either you try to imitate some sort of British accent which I would say is the easiest because it’s more pronouncing the consonants if you catch my drift. The other way is imitating the American accent and the result of that would often come across as fake but Alex has learned to talk “smoothly” and that’s why I think it sounds southern.

I remember first seeing him in Battleship, and now I'll forever know him as Eric Northman. Who by far one of my favorite characters ever. Alex is such an amazing and talented man.
I just love him. He's got a really good sense of humor, and it doesn't hurt that he's easy on the eyes.
What about the iconic roles as Kalle Nubb in "Åke och hans värld" and Robinson-Micke in "Hundtricket"?
Alex is so open and relaxed. Many actors interviewed are very guarded. Never heard him repeat stories.
Very good serie GQ 👍
Insightful! Loved this and love him!
The only thing I’ve ever seen Skarsgard in was Generation Kill as Brad Colbert. Without a doubt one of my favourite miniseries ever and Skarsgard was brilliant as the Iceman. GK has an amazing cast that deserves more love and attention
