My fav pagan folk artists are Eivor, Einar, Myrkur, Faun. Listening to Eluveitie made me listen to pagan folk.

My favorite Nordic artist? Some years ago I would say Bjork, but now for already some 2 years it is Eivor, Eivor, Eivor!!! However you should also listen to Aurora - you will be surprised! As an "old man" I was used to listen to 70-ies & 80-ies stuff... But these 2 girls REALLY rocks!!!

That's the channel I've been waiting for my whole life! I'm in love with singing and I love traditional music even more, so I'm so happy to finally find some good lessons ;) Oh and I really like to know more about Einar Selvik's technic and (not so pagan but still nature based and earthy) Aurora's technic

I really love SNOW RAVEN! She is from my grandmothers native lands Yakutia or how they call it SACHA. I love their culture and feel it in my bones, recently felt strong attraction to learn throat singing, women there have very strong voices. Your lessons will help me a lot, thank you! Love

Oh by the gods I have been trying to find a singing tutorial like this for years! I wish I had found you two years ago! I really do hope that you continue to make videos in the future if you’re able. I will follow you on Instagram as well! I pray that you will come back ❤
As for my favourite bands, I love Eivor, Wardruna, Heilung, Skald, Vivaki, Heldom, Munknörr and Danheim.

I have to say, I really love how you explained these techniques. I was able to recognize the placements when I would think of it as talking like "a little girl" or yelling to your friend. It was helpful! As for the crying metaphor, that was very point on as well. I always wondered about her placements and this was excellent. Thank you so much! I subscribed
    :) I don't ever subscribe!

Sending warm wishes and bigs hugs! I don’t know if it’s the full moon in Leo coming up or what, but this empowered me so much. You helped me peel off a layer of self limiting thoughts about myself that I really just became aware of. Seriously you rock!

Ciao Silvia, I have just found you and have just watching this one video and I enjoy it very much (new sub), I am under the impression you are Estill trained (or similar), which is great. Good stuff debunking the every-day definitions of the vocal modes head and chest voice.
Great job in breaking down the song and the different ways of producing sound.
I would like to add to the excellent advice you provide in the video, that there are spaces in our cranial cavity that are not occupied by our brains, these cavities are filled with cerebrospinal fluid to protect the brain. The common names for the vocal modes (head/chest voice) really come from observing an acoustic phenomenon in our bodies, called sympathetic resonance - so it is actually possible to "feel" the vibrations in said chambers even if these spaces are not the ones resonating to actually produce the sound we are hearing at all.
