3:10 Do you know about the engineering behind Poseidon's regulators? Especially the Xstream and the Jetstream. The 2nd stages for example feature a servo valve and work completely differently compared to your regular Sherwood or Scubapro regs. One could even argue that Poseidon completely reinvented the regulator, as even the 1st stages work differently. So, to me, they are exceptionally innovative :)
Cool video… might be time to invest in some new boots. Looks like they took inspiration from classic Converse shoes. Oh, 02:37 1958, and they can boast with having the title of “Royal Warrants of Appointment” witch basically means a member of the Swedish royal family has used Poseidon gear (in this case the current King). And they are still used by some navy’s around the world and NASA in there NBL.

Lot of people here are complain that Alec is joking at Kevin's expense, it is normal for them to insult each other, they are best friends, my bf and I insult each other all the time and no one gets angry
Appreciate viewers feedback but its all fun and old guy jokes. You only see one side. When the camera is off we do have lots of fun together. Kevin has been an instructor at my old Scuba 2000 store starting in 2009, we started these TH-cam videos in 2015 and traveled the world together diving. As editor, he could easily cut out anything I say about him but he thinks its funny that's how weird we are.
Scuba stores are doing bad in MX where US tourists have disappeared, I have just been there and it is sad. In the other hand, American tourists are traveling within US, spending their money locally. Of course, much less people than usual, I would say.
Thanks John. All the dive businesses in Canada have been hit hard by COVID but Scuba 2000 is still open and training new divers. The bad part is all the travel to warm waters have been cancelled/delayed with is a large part of operators income. Good news is divers still want to get trained, buy gear and are diving locally a lot (till winter). Getting through this winter will be the hardest part for many shops.

Ah, fair point but give their market size compared to other well known makes like Sherwood and Scubapro, being weird does not always help sell. I love Poseidon gear but price and service availability are limiting factors for most in North America. Appreciate hearing your viewpoint.
Very flimsy. I returned them as soon as they arrived not to my liking for PNW drysuit shore entry and pulling a dock cart full of dive gear while fully suited up form the parking lot to the waters edge at times having to walkup dirt pathway at an slight incline. You may like these for boat diving and I notice a cave diver used them once on a TH-cam video but be warned no support and nut much more than a neoprene sock with a thin piece of rubber sole. May work for lazy warm water boat diving just know they are very flexible. I suppose good for rolling up into checked luggage is about the only positive thing I can add for them.
Poseidon makes one of the best scuba equipment. They make rebreathers, best regulators and stuff.

Just speaking about boots but Poseidon is good gear but not widely know in North America compared to say ScubaPro or Sherwood. I like them all.
I use regular old Converse Chuck Taylor's. Wet and dry suite . Love my "scubachucks"
I know tech divers who use them but when you get old, cold feet makes for terrible diving Steve.
Converse makes a all black canvas rubber "Chuck Taylor" suitable for scuba diving,used by seal teams.
That sounds nice. These are great from car, to beach to diving.

I have bad arthritis,and the zip at the back makes doffing and donning boots so much easier for me.

Soles on the boots are very soft and don't last long. However there super comfortable and my favorite boot.

I always thought those were drysuit boots.
Some dry or rock suit boots look like these but are worn over dry suit feet to protect the suit not the feet.

I would wear a 1.5 mm pair of those boots all day lol
In tropical climates I do too. These make it look like you changed boots to shoes. Some resorts don't like wet smelly boots but these may get a pass.

They are certainly a lightweight option, good for traveling and warm water dives.
