Thank you. I'm from KC and have always wanted to take the train to CHI. Your video is as close as I'll ever come to making the trip. I loved every minute of it. I'll start looking for your next 5 legs of your 3700 mile AMTRAK trip. Many, many thanks.
I appreciate your video. I intend to take the same train to Fort Madison and back to Kansas City, just for fun. Your video was the perfect preview. Thank you.
I grew up in La Plata. There is actually a lookout spot where you can sit and train watch and on that white and red building there is a camera that live feeds the trains passing through. Nice video!
Thank you fort his video. We are looking forward to our very first Amtrak experience. We've been to Chicago several times but have been wanting to take the train ride! :-)
Excellent video first time I've seen a video going this direction a Missouri and Fort Madison it's nice to see these towns during the day but you don't see on the videos going the other direction excellent job
Not having subtitles doesn't matter on this video as the vocal was excellent and the information stripes were also very good, thanks(!), My actual Amtrak trip was the Empire Builder from my home in Chicago and, I believe the name was the Pioneer, which no longer is in existence from Seattle. JMS
I am thinking about taking a train ride with my aunt to New York City and this will help me see what a roomette is like I need to know what your thoughts on the roomette
A 'big' negative, on my actual Empire builder / Pioneer trip and on the interesting other Amtrak route videos, just about every state has "JUNK" piles along the sides of the tracks at some location. These are in addition to real junkyards of auto parts and other 'stuff'(!)> JMS

This is the first Amtrak video I've watched that had music, "very good"!!! JMS
I've always wanted to do a cross-country train ride. Great video!

Union station in Kansas City looks nice . We plan to travel there after covid.

Thanks for the ride. Noticed Fort Madison stop changed location past the old fort & completely missed Galesburg .
The piano is a nice twist but... somehow I believe it drives the workers there nuts! LOL

I plan to visit chicago by taking the amtrak train from newton ks
The Fort Madison stop was known as "Shopton' until 1968. They are trying to get back into the old station downtown, but has not occurred yet
Going near 90 MPH was interesting to me as I understood Amtrak's speed limit was 79 MPH (?) JMS

nice
Obviously someone is worried about the weather for as many times as the weather alert station repeated.
That Piano is spooky
Nice vid!
Did your train not stop at Galesburg? It's between Ft Madison and Princeton.
Southwest Chief always stops there.
2nd post: What happened to Galesburg??
Kansas City Union Station built in 1914, not 1901.

It's called a "player piano" not "auto"
Not much in terms of scenery.
Most everything looks decrepit
