Time to get the cub cadet ready for the grass cutting season. In this video I show how to remove the QA-42-A snow thrower from from a 70's international harvester cub Cadet 1450. The Process is the same for the 1250 and 1650.

I restored one of these snow throwers a while ago. A guy was going to scrap it and I asked him if I could buy it. He said yes and I said how much? He said $20 and it's yours. I couldn't get my hand out fast enough to shake his. lol. WHAT A DEAL!! The lip on the front was just about gone and it was pretty rusty but we got it working again.

Nice tractor. I have a 1250 with the same thrower. I plan on restoring my thrower this year... I hope. I seen a Cub 1650 hydro lift with deck and thrower sell for $750 on a local auction last week. No money, oh well. Every year I have to relearn how to put the thrower on cause I forget and I struggle with it. You mentioned putting up a video on installation. I'll look for it.
