Appreciate the stories of pulling back in the beginning of the Pro Stock Class. I really enjoyed the story of the $100 619. I like when ingenuity beats money. Seems like less people building their own designs than years ago. Thanks, Bill.
Your opening statement on your business skills, we nearly starved when I was let go from my blue collar manufacturing engineering job at 50 years old and started residential remodeling. I'm a hands on producer, detailed oriented, knowledgeable in too many trades and can lead young people but terrible at business. The Grace of God sent me to Alaska where I worked for established contractors for really good money. That has saved us for our retirement years.
What the bank says doesn't measure wealth in a person. Having self respect, and having others respect you (most important when you don't know that they do) is worth more than the gold in Ft. Knox. When you give your word, and people know that you will back it up, doesn't show up in any ledger book or spreadsheet here. Great video, Bill!
Thanks for sharing the video Bill. Yes sir I understand growing up working on a farm not making much money and learning to do what you can with what you have. I'd love to see you pull it again. You are a walking encyclopedia on building a pulling tractor. Hope you get some rain for your crops.
Man, you have an excellent understanding and execution of air flow, fuel delivery, fuel management, combustion chamber heat control. I'm very impressed 😊

Nothing wrong with scrap-pile engineering. You did well for doing things on the cheap while not getting yourself hopelessly in debt!!! We've gradually upgraded things cautiously without spending huge dollars over the years.
Your giving me lots of ideas. I'd love to be able to run a tractor like buckshot. I have stickers on my 1964 4020 that say John deere power. There is a cancer cure pull this comming Saturday in upstate new York. Let me know if you want information

Memories are the best. Back when pulling was fun. A guy couldn't buy most of the things we cobbled together that worked.

Crazy to think now a prostock is a billet block and head with a huge turbo.
Crazy is the right word!
